Andy is the owner and he is an honest and knowledgeable mechanic. This is a family owned business and he treats his customers like family. Andy does all of our family's automotive work and I have recommended numerous people to him over the past couple of years. Everyone I have recommended has continued to use him without complaint. I really appreciate his honesty and the fact that he doesn't upsell things I don't need. I was looking for a good mechanic near my new house and a few people in my neighborhood recommended Robert's. I took my truck in because it needed a new idle air control valve (computer was throwing code). Since it was my first time at the shop, they said they would go over everything... about an hour later they called with over $4,500 worth of recommended fixes. I know a lot about cars and immediately there were some red flags. 1. New front brakes were recommended because they were in the "red zone" 3mm. This was odd because I had replaced brakes and rotors less than 20k miles. 2. New ball joints and control arms were recommended. They actually said "we don't want them to fail when you are driving" Again, this was odd because they were replaced 30k miles. 3. Back shocks recommended because one was completely "bad". 4. Front axle seals because all of the front grease had already leaked out. I was pretty upset. I take pretty good care of my truck and this was not something I wanted to hear. The red flags made me want to get another opinion from my old mechanic who I now live 45 minutes from. He went through everything and found no issues whatsoever with anything that was found by Robert's Automotive. The front brakes were at 6mm, the ball joints were completely fine, the rear shocks showed no sign of leaking and were functioning properly. I was looking for an honest mechanic and found the opposite. For now I'll continue to travel 45 minutes for honest and fair automotive work. read more

I was in the parking lot for not even 3 minutes to go into this place of business for some assistance. As I got out of my car a guy in a black pickup truck, that I supposed either works here or is the hopefully not owner of this business screams at me to get out of his parking lot and that he will tow my car. This place is not professional and I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. read more

After reading all the reviews, I am very shocked to hear that the individuals that work here are friendly, tight-knit, and care about customers. Just want to share the type of people that work here. I did not have any service done from this company but rather had the unpleasant experience of being verbally attacked, cursed at and threatened to have my ass kicked at 6:04 AM just because I used their parking lot to assist a friend that had been towed from the company located next door. Roberts automotive was not open yet and I was not preventing them from business. When I arrived, a guy, not a gentlemen and a woman in a black truck, preceeded to yell at me about using his f***ing parking lot to get my car out of tow. When I said, "excuse me?", he said go get your f***ing car. I wished him a Merry Christmas and assisted my friend, that took only seconds, only to return with the two individuals standing by the black truck watching me. I said have a blessed day.....and added about writing this review. I got in my vehicle to see the woman walking towards me while the man was holding her back. I got back in my car, rolled my window down and asked if she was going to chase me and she replied, "no bitch, just going to kick your ass". All this happened at 6 AM prior to their work hours, hurting no one. As I read in the reviews, this guy in the black truck seems to have done this with other people. Unfortunately, the location next door has NO PARKING available and located on a busy street. I can understand if I used their parking during business hours but still it was over the top hostility. If this is how they treat people that are dealing with a stressful situation, not causing any problems for their business, i can only imagine how their business ethics are. So much for that friendly, tight-knit and care about people impression. read more

I was referred to Andy Roberts Automotive by a friend from high school and I took my chances on this relatively new business. I am so glad I did, because though the business is new, Andy is an experienced mechanic and business owner. My car is a 2006 Mercedes that was completely undriveable, with a long list of things wrong with it, and Andy and his team set to work and resolved every issue, staying in touch with me along the way. The repairs came in significantly BELOW the estimate, (when does that ever happen?!) and the car is running better than it has in ten years. Andy is a straight shooter and nice guy and I never felt like he treated me differently as a woman seeking car repairs, which unfortunately is a rare thing indeed. read more
