Zero stars for customer service. Very hard to get a hold of him. Usually have to call and text 2 or more times before getting a response. First came out to give quote for tile cleaning, showed up 20 min late. Not personable, no friendly convo, in and out in just a few minutes. Not a big deal but not what I would I would expect from someone who wants business. Few weeks later we wanted to see what it may cost to have our flooring replaced in our 1,600sq/ft home with carpet and laminate. He came out, again, not friendly. Had no laminate samples, just a few carpet samples. I asked him for a ball park estimate based on standard carpet/pad and laminate just to get an idea. He said he could only provide estimate once we knew what material. I asked him if he had a show room where we could see other carpet and his laminate. We live in Tracy and he told me we would have to go to Hayward to see any samples. I find it odd that a businessman would not be able to provide samples to customers who are willing to give him business. I told him goodbye after that comment as we will not be driving an hour to look at samples. He then changed his tune and said he could send us pictures of samples or bring us samples to look at. That was in October and never heard from him since. I'm not going to beg to give someone business. He would have made a pretty penny off of us but we were glad we gave our business elsewhere. read more

The carpet in several rooms of our house needed restretched. Robert gave me an estimate over the phone, showed up right on time, and was able to stick to his initial estimate. He and his team had the whole thing done in an hour, and were happy to help me move a couple of larger pieces of furniture that I couldn't move myself. The price was extremely fair (second time I've had this done in 11 years of owning, first time was quite a bit more). I highly recommend Robert and his team! read more

Robert and his assistant did a wonderful job of cleaning the carpet of our entire home. He even cleaned our area rugs which is usually an additional charge. They were very professional and on time. Luckily they were not too busy on the day I called and they came over right away within an hour. I definitely recommend them and will definitely use their carpet cleaning service again! read more

I spoke with Robert on Saturday, March 16th and I had requested for carpet to be cleaned in the common areas - stairway and hallways. He requested a credit card which I provided and then, he said you need to pay cash or check when the tech arrives. Which I found a bit strange!! Then he texted on Sunday to confirm for Monday appt; he requested to pay Cash only and to send a copy of the check. I find very unethical for a cleaning company located in Tracy asking for these requests. I have never heard such a thing from a cleaning company requesting to be pay by cash. Then provided a lame excuse, that his CC machine wasn't working. Already a flag...it appears he doesnt want to report all of his income to the IRS! read more

We called Robert's Carpet to come out and stretch and get rid of some wrinkles in our bonus room and hallways. He worked around our schedule to find a time that worked for us. He got here and within an hour had all the wrinkles out of the carpet and looking like new again. He did a great job and was fast. We had him quote cleaning the carpets in the entire house. We had been trying to find someone to repair our pet damaged carpet (cat scratch fever) and either no one wanted to do it or flaked out on the appointment - Not Robert. Robert was able to respond quickly and was in our home repairing the carpet within 24 hours. Very professional and provided quality work at a fair price. I had two mock velour couches that had 5 years of dog and people messes and tile in my kitchen and bathrooms that I wanted to have professionally cleaned. If you've ever been on your hands and knees scrubbing tile, you know how awful and long that job is and let me tell you that it was very worth the money spent to have Robert clean it for me. I didn't realize the grout was supposed to be white in the kitchen, that's how bad it was and when Robert left, it was sparkling clean and the couches were amazingly like brand new again and smelled delicious too. Robert even gave my third couch a cleaning and didn't charge me anything extra. If you need tile, upholstery or carpet cleaning I would definitely recommend Robert's Carpet Cleaning. read more

Can't speak to their carpet cleaning but save yourself lots of money and hassle and don't use this company for flooring installation. The owner here doesn't actually do the work so it's anyone's guess who will actually do the install of your particular job. The guy who did our tile was so unprofessional and unqualified for the job. He left us with a very amateur job with no transition between the tile he'd just laid and what already existed. When we tried to have it remedied no one had a clue what they were supposed to do to make it a smooth, well-thought out professional quality job. Shop a littler further and be sure to get some recommendations from previous customers. read more

We are selling our home and had to have the carpet stretched to remove some fairly large wrinkles that developed over the last few years. I called Rob, we set up an appointment, and he came by the other day to do the work. The wrinkles are gone and the carpet looks great!! He did both floors of our home in a few hours. He even patched a small spot that had torn and become bald from wear. I was so impressed, I hired his company to come back in a few days to steam clean the carpets and two sofas. I love these guys! We have had two seperate carpet installations within the last 10 years and always use them. No carpet store could come close to the affordability of Robert's and they are professional reliable and skilled. A family run businesses that specializes in customer service. They helped us move our very heavy furniture and our carpet looks amazing. They stand behind their work and even made a carpet repairs twice on our berber 5 years after installation because of a few oops that we made at little to no cost. My sister highly recommended Robert's Carpet Cleaning, so I called and scheduled an appointment for today, I was given a window of 1-2pm. At 1:55, their van pulled up, I had my front door open as I was expecting them. I walked into the kitchen (you can still see the front door from the kitchen) to check on my kids through the window as they were playing outside, and when I turned around and walked straight back towards the front door, their van was gone! They never called me (I had my phone with me) nor did they even come to the front door!! They just left. I have been calling, texting, and sending emails, all within the last hour, and have gotten NO RESPONSE!! I have no clue what happened, all I know is no one has communicated with me!! I'm extremely upset, and until they rectify this situation, this review will remain unchanged!! read more

I had carpet picked out after shopping for the best price for over a month. I was ready to order it at a fabulous price and called Robert to obtain an installation date. H e asked how much I was spending on the carpet, I told him and he was able to beat the price by a substantial amount and deliver it in no time at all.
