I usually don't give bad ratings but here we go! Roberts carpet cleaning came out to shampoo our carpets and area rug. I have some spot in my back hallway which he got out but the smell of the carpet stinks. I do have indoor dogs let me tell you I keep them we'll maintenance. I Don't recommend these guys. They flaked on me twice! No phone call or text, just didn't show. Very unprofessional!

I gave them two stars because in the past I had no issues with service. I have referred them to multiple family members. However when trying to book again they looked up my home on Google to see Sq ft is more than 2000sqft however the whole house is not carpeted. You would think they keep track of repeat customers but guess not. So he quoted me via text and said $269 so I was confused as the last time I paid $170 (within last 6 months) so I said the price increase went up a $100 dollars. He decided to call me and said ok $229. However I referred to my sis and she has 4 bedroom that was empty and was charged less then my fully furnished home with the same type of layout. It's crazy the price points flacuate from person to person and day to day...as Many reviews are similar. I wish them well. Again I understand everything has went up but $100 increase is absurd. read more

Robert gave us a quote on cleaning, re-stretching , replacing and or repairing our carpets due to a few stains. Robert suggested he clean the carpets to see if he could remove the stains. He returned a few days later and repaired the stains with the excess pieces from the restretched carpet area. You can't tell it was repaired. So I contacted this business after coming across a promotion on the monthly mailer and got a voice mail a couple of times so i decided to leave a message, weeks passed and nobody called back. Company was highly rated so I decided I'd give it one final shot before moving onto the next and finally got an asnwer,  I let the guy know it would be the number of rooms based on their promo, stairs and hallway. Mind you, about 70% of my home is tile flooring, so were definitely well under the 2000sf carpeted space promoted. On the day of service a kid shows up ( nice kid but really?) I walk him through the home to point out the rooms that would be getting serviced, at this point he asked if we had gotten a quote from the owner, I stated that during my brief conversation with him I was under the impression we fell under the promo price. I told him to call his boss before he started spraying and so he did. Kid goes from the room where we were to a different room to have a private conversation with his boss about what he should charge me (really?), he finally comes back to re-negotiate based on the homes square footage posted on zolillow, mind you , boss doesn't bother once to ask to speak to the customer, just WOW!  I then again pointed out that as he could see majority of the home was NOT carpeted and to that he responds, with "We charge based on the entire sf of the house not what we're cleaning". Unbelievable, guess I should have figured that much from a company that doesn't even bother to respond to voicemais. read more

Twice these guys flaked on me. After the first time, he texted me and said "I missed our appointment, can I come tomorrow morning" never said sorry. I told him I couldn't do the next morning and threw out a couple of times that would work, we scheduled it for 8am the following week, I confirmed the day before and guess what... he didn't show or call or text! I arranged my schedule around these appointments both times! against my better judgement, I gave him a second chance. I would not recommend them based on the customer service. Very unhappy. I was scheduled for a cleaning of carpet for stairs and bedrooms for a spacific date/time. I even prepaid, tip included (my mistake) for someone who NEVER showed. They didn't call, they didn't answer my calls nor my texts. My home currently sits in a state with everything on the beds so the floor is clean and noone to clean the carpets. It's now 3PM and there has been ZERO communication regaurding my appointment I had set with this company. If you're looking for a reliable company, count this one out! read more

I went to schedule a second appointment since its been six months since my last carpet cleaning and I realized that I never wrote a review for the 1st one. These guys are phenomenal! I used to work for a carpet cleaning company, so when I called to request a quote for the full house, including stairs, three area rugs and two couches - I had a number in mind. I was shocked when I was quoted less for all the work than what I was expecting to pay for the area rugs alone. And when I said as much, he told me that he was not in the business of ripping people off but rather building long term relationships with clients - by charging a fair price and doing a good job. (I don't usually refer to people as "he" but it's been so long since I had the work done, I don't remember the name of the person I had originally spoken to or the name of the person who came out to do our cleaning - but my interactions with both were great) It took hours to get through all of the work because we have a smelly little dog that sheds a lot - but the technician took his time and cleaned all of it extremely well. And now, six months later as I realize that my couch is starting to smell beyond what Febreeze can fix (thanks smelly little dog!) - I'm scheduling another appointment. Carpets are supposed to be cleaned every six months and if the work and prices remain as great as they were the first time, Robert's Carpet Cleaning will be my go-to place every six months.
