This is our first time buying from Roberts Motors but we have been long-time customers. After moving to the area several years ago we started using the service department for our trucks. They were wonderful! We moved away for a few years and ended up buying new trucks elsewhere. After moving to the St. Louis area a couple of years ago, we tried a couple of other places for service, but we were never happy. We will gladly drive the hour to have service done on our vehicles. However...this last time we went for service on one of our trucks, we ended up trading it in. It had been a thought for over a year and we're glad we did it. We worked with Jim Hogg and couldn't have been happier. He took the time (in the cold) to go over everything with us and explain things to us. When we changed our minds on which vehicle we wanted and had to come back later in the afternoon for a test drive because we had 2 other appointments, Jim Hogg was right there. I recently purchased a used truck from Roberts Motors in Alton IL. I saw the truck online and sent an inquiry about its availabity. Alan Van Booven, a salesman, replied very quickly and we exchanged a series ot messages. Alan was always quick to respond and very forthcoming with all the information requested. We decided to go take a look at it, and we were not disappointed. Their description of the truck was completely accurate. Alan's assistance in inspecting and test driving the truck was good. He was easy to work with and treated us all with great professional courtesy. We negotiated a very fair price and bought the truck. The people at Roberts Ford made the sales paperwork easy and fast. I ordered a Performance Blue 2013 Focus ST3 from Curtis at Roberts Motors. My car was built on Oct. 17th and i was driving my new car on Oct. 23rd. Most ST buyers have and still are waiting about a month or longer from build date, i was amazed to be in my car in less than a week after it was built. I had a few delivery requests and they were very accommodating. If your looking for a new focus, you should check out the ST. I have had the car a month now and this car is amazing. I had Roberts put my all season tires on. Despite an issue with them damaging one of the tires i brought in, their service department was nice. Teresa was very helpful. I plan on having them service my vehicle until the warranty wears out at least. I purchased a new 2016 Ford Focus Titanium on Friday. Traded in my 2012 Terrain SLT 2. Jim Holman was my salesman. VERY professional and knowledgeable. Didn't feel pressured and got a better trade-in for my Terrain. Prior to going to Roberts Motors that Friday, I had went to a local dealership and they were trying to screw me over. Robert Motors has been the first car dealership where I felt like they REALLY cared about me and what I wanted. It wasn't just a sale, but felt more personal. This week I purchased a Certified 2015 Ford Escape from Curtis Winder at Roberts Ford. The entire process was super easy and quick! I called him on a Monday morning and came in that afternoon to test drive a car. He knew I was in a time crunch so he had everything ready for me when I got there. I went home and we did most of the paperwork prep over the phone which was wonderful. The day I actually bought my car, he even picked me up from Enterprise where I had just dropped off my rental vehicle and gave me a ride back to Roberts to get my new car. I took my 86 year old Granny to purchase a used car. Curtis Windler was referred to me by my brother who has bought multiple cars from him. I had previously searched and searched online and in person for used vehicles and finally said we are going to Roberts.
