*****DEALER FRAUD ALERT****** Don't purchase a car from this place! My daughter recently purchased a vehicle from them and was told several times after putting a lump sum down on her first time purchase, that the sales tax were to be included on her purchase. She signed the contract that day, and 30 days later at the dmv learned that sales tax were NOT included and that she has to come up with another $1300 for her purchase. Called the sales manager and he did not want to talk to me (Father) and basically said she signed the contract so go and pay the sales tax yourself. I am not happy about this entire situation, to the point the title paperwork was signed in Walmart parking lot and the salesman said to go get your plates and it was included in the loan. I always make them earn my business and they always give me the best price on my new vehicles and on my service. The service department is the best I encountered anywhere. I recently had my vehicle towed 28 miles to have Sinclair service it because they are the best. I didn't want to take the chance with another shop. Slow and poor service. Took almost 7 hours to purchase a car. Terrible communication with outside financial institution and forced efforts to convince us to finance with them instead of our institution that we were pre-approved at (under THE BEST interest rate possible). I have purchased several vehicles before and I have never had an experience that could mirror this one. We were intrigued by a gem vehicle at a great price but if I knew that I would experience this, I would have saved myself the 4 hour trip. I previously had rated Dave Sinclair Lincoln a tentative 4 stars under the mistaken impression I was welcome there as a CCW permit holder based on an extensive conversation with a salesman on the phone. As promised, I went to Dave Sinclair Lincoln after work to look at the car only to see a posting clear as day on the front door "No Weapons Allowed". When I confronted the salesman about it on the phone he assured me that it was a mistake and the sign would be removed. I was supposed to get a picture sent to me via text message showing me the sign had been removed. I have NOT received said message and it is 3 days and counting. Recently I reviewed South County Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, All Star Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and LOU FUSZ MITSUBISHI. All of these dealerships had Chrysler 300's I was interested in possibly purchasing. Unfortunately, all were posted "No Weapons Allowed", with South County Dodge being the most prominently and prolifically posted. I purchased my 2011 Cadillac SRX at Dave Sinclair Lincoln in St. Peters and that experience was fine. There were some pieces that didn't match the car. When I told the salesman about the situation he asked me to bring the car in (I live at least 35 minutes from the dealer). I did. I was told by the service manager (after a discussion with the salesman) that it wasn't going to be covered. After a phone call to the manager and another discussion with the salesman, it was covered. We made arrangements for me to drop it off on Tuesday, 2/10. Although my salesman wasn't there that day, and no one knew what I was talking about, they ended up working that out. I was to receive a loaner car....and I probably should have asked for more specifics on that. After receiving an extremely small sized car that was dirty, had no gas, leaked oil on my driveway and I had to drive with the window cracked open because of the exhaust/gas fumes from the car (this happened in February when the temps were less than desirable for an open window and i live quite a distance from the dealer). I would have paid to get a loaner car from a rental car company had I known..... In the end, when I received the phone call indicating the car was done I was greeted by an unfriendly receptionist....told her they may want to have someone check the loaner car out and she very dismissively said she would. The paint technician did an awesome job on getting the mismatched pieces to match. I just wish the whole experience had been better. read more

I bought a certified pre owned mkx and LOVE it. A very beautiful clean car that comes with a warranty. Drives well and most comfortable vehicle I've owned. Everyone is incredibly nice and easy to deal with. I even called and got an appointment for my first oil change and they got me in same day I waited in the showroom for about 35 minutes and got my car back and they even washed it. Their service department is the slowest I've ever had an experience with. I was here on 1/25 because of a slight vibration in the steering wheel and floor board when I went over 70mph and it veered to the left. It took them 4 hours to determine I needed a wheel alignment, new tires and balancing and to put them on. I left and while driving home, the vibration was 20 times worse than before and is why I'm back today. Been here a little over an hour already and have the feeling it's going to be another long service trip. read more

One of my worst customer service experiences! Took three weeks to repair my car. Non proactive in keeping me up to date on progress - I usually had to contact them. The first time I picked up the car after it was "fixed", it stopped on me on the way home in 100 degree weather and I was forced to pay for it to be towed back to their facility. Do not go to Dave Sinclair Lincoln St Peters for sales or service... Worst day I could have had today! This is my review! I purchased my used 2007 Chrysler 300C 0n 07/20/2013. My sales man Jim Thurman Was awesome. He did a great job of answering all of my questions and helping me to find the vehicle that I was looking for. That being said I was then turned over to the finance department. I am not in the least happy with the service that I received from them. I was asked to come back several times. Being a disabled vet in a wheel chair at the time, I didn't appreciate this at all. I was told that it would be in my best interest to get an extended warrenty on my car because i would be paying on it for a long time. chances are that something would go wrong during the life of the loan. I agreed and was charged an additional $1500.00 for the service contract. after about five months I had found several things wrong with the vehicle and decided to take it in for service. I told the man at the service department not to do any work without calling first because I had very little money. I got called at the end of the day to be told it would cost several thousand dollars to fix my check engine light among other things. I said what the heck for , I have a warranty? I was told that the warranty would not fix anything but a bad thermostat? What happened to the bumper to bumper you may ask? they lied, and you can't tell this from the papers that they give you. all it has is 2 yr/24000 mile Estate marked on it. I was lied to, deceived, and now I can't even get my car out until the 3rd of next month as I only get paid once a month. I am sure they will try and charge storage as well. They didn't fix anything but are charging for checking it? I told them do not do anything without talking to warranty company and letting me know what it was going to cost. Now I am stuck without my vehicle and can't even get to my daily doctor visits at Veterans Affairs... read more
