!!! DO NOT EVER GO HERE !!! Do not take your items, especially higher end items to this business. They simply do a sloppy, reckless job and attempt to place the blame on the customer, calling them liars and stating I was a "bad man" for attempting to right the wrong that was done to my wife's shoes. We dropped off a pair of fairly new Margiela Tabi flats for a simple heal resole and added a small cushion on the inside of the shoe. That was on June 15. We picked up the shoe this Saturday, July 11 and initially was only shown the bottom of the shoe where the work was done. Fine, placed in the bag and took them home. When I got home, I showed my wife and found there had been a stroke of paint or some black material on the right side of the right shoe. We attempted to wipe off with a wipe but was only faintly coming off. I called the shop and the asked I bring it back because they could take care of it right away. I came back, showed the shoe and then proceeded to get verbally harassed by the shop owner and the young guy working on shoes in the back. They first claimed that it was not paint and it was the shoe material that peeled off, but yet they could not explain why the material of the shoe still felt like leather and not felt that was everywhere else around the shoe. I also showed a picture of the shoe when dropped off stating even it was "peeled off or cracked" that wasn't how we dropped the shoe off and yet the shop continued to lie and state they had no explanation but only said it was not their fault or doing. They then attempted to say I placed the paint there and that "it couldn't have been them as they never painted the shoe" I advised it was clearly not on purpose which we weren't stating it was but the shop failed to take any accountability, simply stating they could not explain it nor fix it but refused to take any action to rectify the situation. Lastly, they gave me my money for the service back, which wasn't even the full amount and told me I was a bad man before walking away. My wife called after I left to speak with someone and the shop worked ended up texting her back to argue and attempt to dispute any responsibility. Disgusting place. These are very expensive shoes and the fact they refused to just take any responsibility and instead place the sole blame on my wife and I when we literally had a picture of how they were dropped off is disgusting and I would never give this place another cent or second of my time. read more

I wish I could give more than five stars! Robert and his team saved me, my sanity and my feet -- I bought a gorgeous pair of Nicholas Kirkwood gold leather slingback sandals for a wedding but the ankle straps were too small/tight to be comfortable. They found a perfect color match and extended the strap with perfectly matching gold leather so I could walk and dance more comfortably. The shoes are impeccably perfect! I wore them 12+ hours comfortably and danced for hours with no worries about the strap thanks to their handiwork. They were so collaborative and worked with my timeline, going above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Miracle workers. Brought some of my wife's boots in for heel repair/ midsole rebuild, had them done in reasonable time with exceptional results. Writing now about my Redwing Resole...amazing. Turnaround was quick, price for each repair respectively was fair and justified. I took delivery of my redwings after leaving em though the holidays- took about 4 weeks, I've had others take 6 or more. I got a vibram Resole and just look at em! In 6months when I need another Resole I'll be back. They might just have to do my Ariats and anything else I can think of. I paid $100 to get my wife's leather motorcycle jacket fixed. The jacket needed the sleeves and shoulder stitched. Robert cut the lining of the jacket only to sew the shoulder seam and forgot to sew the sleeves. He told my wife to bring the jacket back and he would fix it. He then accused her of bringing a different jacket. I also had three boots fixed here. He did an average/decent job on the boots. Slightly overpriced and takes along time for the repair. It costs $75 to replace the rubber heal cap on my boots. read more

I had a pair of shoes that needed new soles and one sandal in need of a new stud. They did a great job. I gave them a lot of time to do it, but I'm sure if you request to have them back sooner, you can request that. All told, it was $65. I think it's a fair price, not a great deal, but fair. The outcome was perfect: both two leather fanny packs with their notoriously failing zippers as well as some boots were perfectly repaired. I came in less than 30 minutes before closing time, and Robert repaired the concealed double zipper on my favorite backpack right in front of me. The zipper was having two different problems -- one slider had gone off the track entirely, and the other was immediately coming undone if I didn't zip it very slowly and intentionally. He fixed both in about three minutes, and then wouldn't take payment! He just said to come back for a zipper replacement if I had the same problem again. They did a great job. I brought in a pair of boots I got at a thrift shop 10 years ago. The soles had come completely unglued from the upper, the heel was worn down, and some of the stitching was coming undone. He replaced the base of the heel, removed the unglued sole to replace it with a much more sturdy and non-slip option, and restitched the leather. They were ready almost a full week before estimated. His work is really impeccable. He doesn't clean up the shoe when he returns it to you, though. He tries to sell you shoe cleaning supplies so you can do it yourself. For instance, he said he would clean up the sole of my Moncler boots after gluing them but they were the same as when I dropped them off. I asked him about this. He said I could buy a "shampoo" from him to clean it. Also there was some dirt on the suede so he SOLD me a brush to clean it off. I brought a pair of boots to be repaired/ resoled. Asked for the inside of the boot heel to be repaired, in which at first the glued a small piece in with no stitching. That was not what I had asked for and after much back and for the they finally did what was originally asked for. As far as the resole, the leather base and some needed to be replaced but instead they again just glued pieces of leather on the toe end saying " don't worry my friend, it will stay". Wrong. One piece fell completely off and the other is hanging on by a thread. Literally. They slapped a new sole on a sole on and charged for a service in which they did not complete as stated. So I HAD to have sparkly shoes. Unfortunately, after getting two pairs, each had defects. I took them to Robert on my lunch break. 1 - to ask which 2 of the 4 to keep, and to have him reinforce them.
