Not good. Place used to be awful. Last year, we went and it was ok. Went back tonight and once again, it's horrible. Wife got the cheese blintzes. They tasted and smelt like meat. The waitress did confess they cook them on the same griddle as the burgers. Too bad my wife is a vegetarian and these were obviously inedible. They obviously cooked them an inch from the burgers. My hot pastrami sandwich was hot ok. They took cooked pastrami and left it on the griddle until it was black, burnt pieces. What a shame. I will say, our waitress was amazing and made it right. My wife was at Robin Hood for lunch with a friend and I asked her to order me a chicken steak sandwich with fried onions to go, and for the server to throw a few packets of ketchup in the bag. The server not only forgot the ketchup, she virtually forgot the chicken on my sandwich. I'm sorry now that I didn't take a picture to show you, but the portion was so paltry I barely had anything to eat, so if you choose to repeat my mistake don't say you weren't warned. Yes, they may have forgotten my ketchup and a fair amount of chicken, but what they didn't forget was to charge my wife $13. They managed to remember that detail with no effort at all. read more

What a difference a day makes. The worst chicken croquettes we have ever had. I was pulling out what I believe to be veins with each bite. At first I thought it was hair (Eeeewww). But with 2 chicken croquettes having about 16 veins or more, almost 2" long, it truly was disgusting. We stopped eating them and just pulled out the disgusting veins. Wish I took a picture of the pile of veins bc it was unbelievable. Hard to believe this is the same restaurant that made me a delicious tuna wrap the day before. First off, let me start by saying the food that we received was garbage. Our waitress did not Care didn't even ask how our food was specifically asked not to burn the home fries they came out slop and burn not even home fries look like BJ's or Costco's shoestring and they put it in a deep fryer. Absolutely disgusting. The eggs are fake. They don't taste good received another dish for the other guest avocado toast absolutely disgusting, brown, and wilted. It comes with a side of fruit, which looks like they just dug it out of the trash that been laying in there for weeks. Needless to say I am totally disappointed with this if you're not serving quality food, don't serve it at all. Remember, you're only as good as your last customer and I will be your last customer and for the owner, I've questioned you about it and you had nothing to say to me about it. Came here on Sunday night with a friend for dinner. Every table was filled. They give you complimentary bread with tomato sauce and butter which is always a plus. I ordered an egg white omelette with mushrooms and french fries. Delicious and they have the best french fries ever! The place is warm and fuzzy as is their help. I've been coming here for about two years with my buddy who lives a skip away. Service is hit or miss. The food is average. Some may say that's bad but with such inconsistencies in restaurants I've come to appreciate the averageness from Robin Hood. Their lunch selections are pretty good I usually go with a wrap. Breakfast is a very reasonable price with generous portions. Take out since covid has resulted in three times having to call, two being they messed up our order and one being a missing item. This was my first time here, they had inside & outside dining options. They had plastic dividers for social distancing in between the booths. Hubby & I were greeted & sat right away. Service was on the relaxed side. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich & hubby got a breakfast meal consisting of eggs, choice of breakfast meat & choice of pancakes or french toast. My grilled cheese was good, very basic nothing special. It sadly came with the plastic french fries which I do no eat but I saved some calories . Hubby said the eggs were not good but his french toast was amazing, I had to try it. We both ordered coffee, never was asked if we wanted a refill. Robin Hood, the robbing hoodlum of Sherwood Forest, was known for taking from the rich and redistribution to the less fortunate. In many ways this diner-esque restaurant in Southampton, PA, is true to that calling. They turn out large, very good meals at excellent prices for their loyal customers. Open 24/7, it is an anchor of the community. We stopped in for a Presidents' Day breakfast to relax on a Monday morning without work. The house was a bit more than half full and we we're quickly taken to a small table along the windowed wall. Coffee arrived with the requested milk, and we gave our order for a short stack of french toast, side of hash, and a standard scrambled, bacon, potatoes and whole wheat. It was all quite good. The frenchies were constructed of large slices of texas toast with caramelized edges and pleasant vanilla flavor. Two slices were more than enough. The corned beef hash was likewise crispy with mellow savoriness. The packaged syrup took it down a notch, where real maple would have made it exceptional. The eggs were the right consistency - just north of soft, and the taters plentiful. We both commented on our enjoyment of the meals, and compared them to other recent experiences that we're not as good at more expensive locations. Robin Hood was definitely one to remember. PRO TIP - We were disappointed upon getting the bill and finding an extra charge for bacon when the menu indicated it was part of a breakfast special. Either we missed the fine print, or there wasn't any, that the special was not available on holidays like Presidents' Day. Not that it would have made a difference, but it would have been nice to be told this before settling on our order. Our server said she didn't know about it, and she was advised to add the charge by management. Foolish move. Now they have to see this addendum to an otherwise positive review. Maybe they thought I could afford it, and they were the ones in need, so a little extra pinch was merely income redistribution. No. It was just bad business. read more

Food: Ordered a hamburger with F.O. and sauté mushrooms. Sweet potato ff Meat was dried, not tasty, and the quality of beef was not good. Now, I understand it is a diner, and not that you will get top-notch food, but you can purchase better quality. Bread on the meat was wet. The sweet potato ff was soggy. Called and asked for the mgr and explained my experiences on the hamburger and the wet/sogginess as stated above. I explained that when using Styrofoam containers, it will produce condensation with heat from the food. Therefore, it creates soggy/wet food. Plus, the fact is that it is unhealthy with the wetness and Styrofoam. I said he could maybe consider other variations. Examples, foil containers, paper containers, and if you still want the Styrofoam, use parchment paper, foil, etc. He stated that you could ask to wrap it and put it in a bag. But, this is how the mgr does things. He was not considering any other options. Shut me out, sort of speaking. With that being said, I will not be soliciting this business. Breakfast with meats cost us roughly $13.00. Ya can't really beat that. I went with the 3 eggs, bacon and home fries. The home fries were borderline epic. So buttery and delicious. The bacon was a bit too crispy for my liking and the eggs were good. My wife had the egg white omelette with the same sides. The omelette was good and she had the same feeling about the bacon. Also ordered a Breakfast combo, which was ok, and my friend got a Nova lox platter. The "platter" literally had THREE small pieces of lox (didn't even look fresh.) We have eaten in a few diners and all had a plate filled with fresh lox. Enough for two portions. Their portions was not enough to cover one half of bagel. This must have been a joke. Great omelets and servers are super nice! We came in about a half hour before closing (unaware of the 9pm closing time) and the waitress was super nice and didn't rush us at all. I came in on Sunday with my family and it was fairly crowded. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. Robin Hood is definitely getting more popular. I have been to Robin Hood many times. I always love their chicken noodle soup and it was great again today. Their soups are normally better than Ben and Irvs which probably would be surprising to know for a lot of people. My dad enjoys the 3 salad entree of egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad. When my mother comes she enjoys the cheese burger patty melt. She puts fried onions on it. Today, my sister and I got the tuna salad wrap. We asked for low mayo and the waitress said ok and acted like they could do this. We get the food and realized the tuna salad is already pre made, but the waitress didn't say that. The tuna salad had a lot of fat in it with all the mayo. The nephews had waffles and pancakes and I asked them what they thought of the meal and they both said 4/5 stars. They are ages 12 and 9 My brother in law thought his meal was average.
