I've been looking for a new breakfast place and I think I found it. Really inexpensive food and it's delicious!!!! It's basically like a small diner, gives you that warm and cozy feeling. Me and my boyfriend loved our food. We can't wait to try other stuff; there's so much on the menu. They serve breakfast and lunch. The service was very quick. Brother told me about this spot for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Came in with a big group and was seated right away. Ordered the French toast platter with fruit- sooooo good! I'm big in French toast and this is on my list of top places with great French toast. My daughter ordered pancakes and eggs and she loved them. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and quick with refills, more napkins basically everything that my large group needed. This spot feels so comfortable with friendly service and patrons and the walls covered with pictures of diners who came back to support the restaurant after COVID. The extensive breakfast menu gave us a lot of options with the homemade Sausage Patty and Home Fries (choice of with or without onions!) being very tasty. A New Year's resolution of mine is to not only continue supporting small businesses but to check out the ones in my area as well! Some friends were raving about this new restaurant that opened a few weeks ago, so I had to give it a try! My daughter and I went for an after Christmas brunch, not like we needed any more calories but whatev! lol. Place is clean, homey and you immediately felt welcomed. Menu is huge! Serving primarily breakfast and lunch and cash ONLY. But there is an ATM on premise if needed. The food was good, portions were large and prices were fair. Some of my friends mentioned that prices are cheaper than average, for some things yes but other menu items were fair to higher than average. For my short stack of stuffed French toast $9, and a platter of eggs/hash and turkey sausage $8, my meal alone was $17! I didn't eat all of it though I tried! The owner came by to check on us which was nice, explained their first restaurant New Madison in Levittown has been open for 50 years. Only setback besides the prices which surprised me is how quickly we were given the check. There weren't many other tables present and we were still eating and our waitress just dropped off the check and asked if we needed takeout boxes, there goes a relaxing meal. Overall though, a solid new restaurant in the area, I will definitely be back to try the the lunch options! read more

We found this place on a Google recommendation, and it most definitely did NOT disappoint. I am not a free giver of the precious 5-star review. This is a rating held only to those who go above and beyond to deserve it. Cafe Madison and the staff here did just that and I would actually give this place 5+ stars if possible. Tucked into a shopping center off of Buck Road, Cafe Madison is a quiet little strip shopping eatery that definitely is worth a trip (we will be headed back this weekend to check out the breakfast) They are only open for breakfast/lunch, and they CASH ONLY but an ATM is available. Lots to offer on the menu. Breakfast is severed all day. Sandwiches, burgers, wraps, cheese steaks, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, grilled cheese of several varieties and homemade soups too! Something for everyone. The prices are decent, and the food is exceptional. You're not leaving hungry from this place. The MONSTER BURGER is in every respect just that! Standing well over 6 inches high this concoction will take some time to devour! The fried chicken sandwich was made with fresh chicken breast and cooked perfectly not dried out and was not as monster as the burger but hefty indeed! The fries were average, but the stars of the show were without a doubt our sandwiches! This is one of my new favs and will definitely be in the rotation for options when eating out! A definite must try! UPDATE: Not changing the rating, however, did come back for breakfast and we found a completely different atmosphere. Christmas eve we popped in excited to try out the breakfast menu, the servers were rushed, annoyed and not at all happy to be there. The service was lacking, the food was just okay, and the disappointment was real. Wonderful spot! Visited for breakfast with my family after spending the night near by after going to Sesame Place. Cheesy Grits: 5/5!! Amazing. Thick. Would eat everyday. A+ Spinach and Feta Omlet with Homefries: 5/5 so good didn't even need ketchup or any condiments at all. For any of it. Apple Fritter French-toast: 4/5 the taste of the French toast is banging! But it wasn't what I expected. There were apples on top, like they were cooked in an frying pan, not an actual fritter being fried and then made into French toast. Apples left something to be desired. Side of Bacon was crisp and dry: 3/5 Plain Biscuit: 2/5. Came out hot, butter melted quick, but they were kinda like grands but not as flavorful. Mickey Pancake: 4/5 it's 3 small pancakes and one big pancake to make the head, ears, and nose. It's delicious, just thought it was going to be one large pancake based on its name. Cafe Madison Holland sits in the Pheasant Valley Center at the bottom of Buck Road where a Chinese restaurant used to be. They have done a great renovation to the space and turned it into an attractive, comfortable room full of photos of customers. There are about a half dozen tables and small 6/7 stool counter for lone travellers. I grabbed a spinner so as not to take up a table and be able to chat with the staff. Turned out that Dean the owner was in the house, and we ended up in a long conversation about the trials and tribulations of opening a food business in Northampton. Let's just say his experience was not a business friendly welcome. Glad he saw it through, because he has created an excellent place for an Americana breakfast. It is warm and feels quickly like home. The menu is extensive for the morning and afternoon meals and prices are fair. I opted to sample their french toast and homemade sausage patty with coffee. At $8.75, it was a deal and a half! The toast was expertly turned. Amply saturated with egg/sugar/vanilla mix, the bread was thin and the right texture to absorb to its core. The edges were nicely caramelized to a mild crisp. The sausage was a freeform patty with very good flavor. I was glad I asked my server to help me choose among the alternatives. She was dead on that I should go with it. I appreciated that while they didn't have maple syrup, they at least had Log Cabin, rather than those corn syrup sweeteners. Lastly, the coffee was a Bunn drip that was hot and strong. I have a feeling that Madison Cafe Holland is going to be a big hit where there are few good choices for a decent breakfast and lunch. It isn't that far from Newtown nor Feasterville that it won't draw from those communities as well. It will help put this corner of Northampton Township back on the map, something that has been missing since the passing of the Mill Race Inn. With Two Ladies Bakery Cafe, Johnny Apples, and Salvo's Pizza and a few other restaurants nearby, it is beginning to be a worthy destination again. This is my first time eating from Cafe' Madison , my first experience wasn't pleasant. The service I received wasn't pleasant . I ordered breakfast for my friend and I , I ordered the Apple fritter French toast , wasn't so good their were a few apples on top with skin on the apples . I asked for powdered sugar on top didn't receive that , I didn't receive any utensils, syrup , or butter. I rate the French toast a 2/10 because it was very plain and in my opinion not worth my money . My friend ordered the stuffed blueberry cream cheese French toast and she rates the food 3/10 . Today was my first visit for breakfast! My in-laws are local & I was visiting them for the day. I live in Doylestown or I would be frequently visiting!! Anytime I am in Holland I will be sure to visit! Everyone who works there is super friendly & the owner came out to check on us during our meal (he was super sweet as well!) the food was AMAZING! I had a kielbasa egg & cheese wrap which is something you do not typically see on a menu (I am Polish so I love it!) and a pancake which was perfect too! My in-laws loved their meal! Overall disappointing. Walk in and is a sit where you want place. We sat and were asked to move to another table by a rude waitress. We moved and another couple comes in and sits where we were. The waitress seemed mad(all over her body language) but she said nothing and let them sit there. I get my food and there is eggshells in it. Can't tell the waitress as she doesn't come back until it is time to give us the check. So I got to pay for a breakfast and left hungry. she had the nerve to ask if I wanted a box to take it home! I have eaten there before and it appears always to be hit or miss. Comment to owners response- she did not come around with coffee and tea until done and did not give anyone a chance to tell her anything.
