I had an issue with my washing machine recently and it was partly due to unfamiliarity with the new H.E. Machines and the washing detergents they use. My wife and I were using too much detergent and over a few years a residue built up below the stainless clothes tub leaving muddy-looking flakes on our clothes as it sloughed off. L-G had a list of repairmen and David Robinson's name came up. When he returned my call he listened to my description and gave me a good explanation of what was happening and how to go about remedying the problem. He could have come the 25 miles or so but as it turned out, his advice was just what we needed. After running a few cleaning cycles with the right tub-cleaning product, we were free of those muddy flakes. Thanks to David for good advice and for the money he saved us on a service call. If I have a real problem in the future he is first on my list. read more

Well, just like the other reviews I had the same experience. Charged me $100 for the diagnosis then said was "looking" for the part. Never heard from him in 3 days finally my husband called him and he said he was still looking. My husband found the part and in the meantime I saw these reviews and shame on me. This guy must be just going out and taking T.V.'s apart....collecting his diagnosis fee to have never follow up again. Shame on you Samsung to have this person as a referral on your website. David came to my house 3 times to fix 2 different LG Tv's. Each time he came by he was professional, patient, and diligent in the work he did and completed to my satisfaction. David was a pleasure to talk to and was very kind in answering any questions I had. I would recommend him to anyone in the area. This man is a con and a cheat. Took my grandparents on August 4th for 145$ for coming to check their TV. Came to look at it, said it needed a circuit board, and took their money. David said that part of the money would go for the circuit board the TV needed. Then 3+ weeks of no contact. (Tried to call him x4) He called yesterday to say that he couldn't find a circuit board. My grandfather told him when he called that he was unhappy with his service and feels like he should get the money back for the circuit board that wasn't produced. Be wary of Robinson Electronics, he if attempts to take advantage of old people, he will take advantage of you. read more

David was honest and forthcoming and told us what to expect for our flat screen tv repair. He also did the job extremely fast for us, which we greatly appreciated. The worst ripp off. Don't use this guy, David, the owner, has smart answers but no fixing.. lies...2 times he has been here at my home, he said he would fix my Samsung TV and I gave him what he asked for and he was to come back with the solution. Never came back after a few calls. He was checking and parts would be in soon 1 year ago. I thought he might have had some personal problems or something then but NO, he just simply lies and has an answer for everything except for the solution...lies! *****THE SAME THING happened with my Microwave from 3 weeks ago Oct 18-2019, I figure I try him again give him a chance. He came right away, I paid him on a Friday, said he be back by Wed. or thursday latest with the part. Never came or called that following week, I called once a week since and he promised he would be here soon. LIES! Been 3+ weeks and never even called me once, a waste of time. I thought I let the first incident go by with the TV but he did it again!!! I found the part myself new on ebay and is a 3 day delivery. I'm changing it myself. Too bad I also paid him in advance. A small crook is what he is!!!!!! Don't use him, if you do don't pay one cent in advance--- not one cent! Not even for the service call! Yes David when you read this maybe it will grow inside your head that you are a petty crook..you did it twice to me, and how many more have you done this to others? This Business is a scam. There is one man, David, who runs the store and owns it. I called David 4 Months ago and told him I had a problem with the LED's in my TV. I had spoke with best buy, who had tested the tv and verified that that was the problem, but that they were not able to repair it. After calling David, he said he would be happy to fix the tv. I went and dropped the Tv off, and paid what he called a "diagnostics fee" that would help pay off the balance of the work done, when it was done. After about TWO Weeks of not hearing from him, I called him. He said he had the part on backorder and was waiting. Two more weeks go by, I call again. He says "I put the part in but that is not fixing the problem, so I am calling tech support for the TV company, and they will let me know what's wrong. After 3 more months, of calling, getting the wrap around of either "Im still waiting to hear back", or David HANGING UP ON ME when I told him who I was, I have given up. This man is a professional con artist. He will give the complete wrap around, even if you catch him at his office. The Dillema is he got my 80 dollars for the dianostics, and of course I won't get that back because techincally it's just for the diagnostics he did. He still has my TV. I could probably go get it back, but what's the point!?!?! ITS NOT FIXED. read more

This man has had our TV for almost a year now. We took it to him in April 2017. We paid the $80.00 diagnostic fee. Since then it's been a run around every time we've called him. When we took our TV to him, the only thing wrong with it was the picture had quit working. The sound was fine. Now nothing works on it. He states he has replaced many parts with no luck. Our TV was a plasma and parts are hard to find. I have a feeling he's parted out our TV to fix other TV's. I would not recommend this man to anyone. He's a con artist! read more

I was referred to David Robinson by Sharp TV. I let him into my house based on their recommendation. As it turned out, he lied to me in such a fashion that I, without any electronic knowledge but knowing bullshit when I hear it, turned to Google and discovered that my problem was ordinary and there were many videos that showed me how to re-set my TV that David told me was shot and could only be replaced. So, David Robinson lied, took $112.35 from me and never returned my calls. I called Sharp to let them know he was a shyster. I will call LG tomorrow. Do not use this company. read more

I have an old tube type radio and took it to Robinson. He assured me that he was familiar with this type of radio and would check it out. I paid $65.00 to have the radio checked. I was told that he would call me when he had checked it out. I never received a call. I went by the store several times & it was not open. When I finally spoke with him, he said he would call me the next day. I never received a call. I finally went back to the store & he was there. My radio was sitting in the same place that it had been sitting since I left it. He never checked the radio & started trying to check it when I was there to pick it up. He had the radio for 1 year & never did one thing to it. He did not offer to refund my money. I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone looking for help with anything electronic. Took a TV that was damaged in home invasion there. He told me that he could replace with refurbished motherboard if I left there. I have called numerous times over course of several months. He cant seem to find a motherboard to replace it. Not worth taking anywhere else. I realize he know has the TV to refurbish and sell, which I dont care but I just wish he was honest.
