You place your order on the right side and pay at the time you order. They call out the food item, not your name, so you need to pay attention so that someone who comes after you doesn't grab your smoothie or panini by mistake! We stopped by for lunch and didn't have to wait to order. Within minutes, our orders were ready. It was a little more challenging than when they call out names. I mean if you miss the first word or two of what is being called, you may not recognize the order. Fortunately, the place was only about half full and the cashier (very personable!) nodded at me like "Hey, that's yours!" I ordered a Turkey Cranberry panini which was pretty tasty. The turkey was served warm and juicy (for turkey). The Swiss cheese was thick and gooey (yum!) and the cranberry flavor was from cranberry mayo with cranberry bits. The panini was lightly grilled/pressed and was quite good. I also ordered the Tropical Oasis smoothie, which is a bunch of fruit juices including strawberry, pineapple, and banana. She opted for the flour wrap (four options are available) to hold her marinated carnitas, black beans, corn salsa, avocado, salsa and sour cream. The young female server swiped my gift card and put it on a pile of other cards so I asked for mine back because money should be left on it. Why did she not just try to trash it (what will they do later with the pile of cards - coupons and gift cards)? I ordered a bowl with Korean beef. The clerk told me there was no charge for avocado, so I added avocado. When I checked out, I was charged for avocado. I guess they still have a few hiccups to work out. My bowl was delicious, I loved the flavorful Korean beef and I can make a meal of the pickled onions. The Black Currant Black tea was very good. I love the Miso soup which comes with every bowl. My husband got a Steak Bowl which he enjoyed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The dining room is the usual cute upscale orange and white. Several covered tables are outside where you can bring your pooch and eat. I downloaded the app which gives you frequent buyer rewards. I wish I had known about the app sooner.
