Little slow on service but hey it's a small Town vibe. Love it. Excellent interior. Great spot right off the highway.

I stopped the review prematurely. The service was good and attentive. I think I mentioned the Florentine omelet it contained spinach and mushrooms and bacon. It was well cooked and good. My husband had the country-fried steak on biscuits with I think cheese and his eggs to the side. I tasted it and it too was very good. I think I posted a picture of his tomato juice it was large not those little juice glasses a full-size soda glass juice. My husband doesn't drink wine but he can tell you about different tomato juices lol and this he declared was red gold and very good. The negative. When you pull up to the place it looks like it once was, a dive bar. Deep dive. It is surrounded by a mess, not their mess but a mess. The parking is just a dirt area. The building looks like a big old trailer and if I hadn't seen inside pictures I wouldn't have gone in. The inside is rough also. A painted concrete floor that sort of thing. However, our booth was clean the menus were also. That's no small thing in a very busy restaurant that serves pancakes. Everything else like the dishes and cups wasn't worn or chipped. Very odd lol but I am going back to try another breakfast.

Wall art is ridonculous! (Misspelled on purpose)

Always super nice service from the waitress. They are always busy, because they are great at what they do and the prices are cheap. The portions are large and the food is always served fresh and hot. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. Parking may be hard to find a spot but don't fret, it's worth it. The interior wall is super cool and always fun to check out.

Wouldn't really recommend coming here. Waiters don't check in on you and take forever to give checks.

We were happy to be invited to their great office space to plan out our wedding day. They lead us step by step through all the options for the cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and cake. The only problem we had was trying to choose between so many great options. Skip to the wedding day, Shoup's showed up in full force! I was amazed with the amount of people the had to help out with the bar and catering. After the ceremony, we got our much needed first taste of our speciality cocktails. (side note: I had asked the On The Rocks staff to try to replicate a cocktail I had at a downtown bar. Kailey somehow got the exact recipe from the bar, and it was PERFECT) We went with the hand passed appetizers, which I would suggest because it let everyone socialize. The best part about being the bride and groom is that you get to go first in line for dinner. Shoup's bought a ton of food and no one went hungry that night. We also appreciated that Shoup's could do our wedding cake in with the package, and it was the best cake I have every had at a wedding. Lastly, go for the late night snack option. We did BBQ sliders. Special shout out to Janna Stillwell our wedding coordinator, she checked to make sure we had everything we needed. She was helping with even non catering related things. I remember commenting to my wife that Janna would have ran through a wall for us if we needed it. Our advice: call Shoup's, pick you favorite things, and let them take care of the rest.

In addition, the battered fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They were crispy and not too much salt. The tenderloin was good. The breaded coating was well seasoned and accompaniments were fresh. The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. An event room is available for weddings or parties. There is a kids menu. We enjoyed everything about this place, the feel, the look of the decor, as well as the service. Very very nice and we've eaten at a lot of restaurants all over the continent but this one takes it all. I've found that all states and countries have their own cuisine and way of fixing it but try to find a tenderloin , it doesn't exist in most places, even California doesn't know about it and here I thought they knew about everything. Trust me, if you want the experience we had you need not look any further but be sure to call in a reservation if there are more to your party and double check that you have reserved, that's always a good habit to acquire. As busy as this place gets you have no one to blame but yourself if you drop the ball, after all, what part of the word "Reserve" don't we all understand. Great place to eat and we'll keep coming back when we're here. Thanks Booker.
