So I was in the market for a new place. When I arrived on the lot, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. There were options. The trees looked fresh and ready to be taken home to be decorated and enjoyed. The people there were helpful and responsive. The prices were a lot more than expected especially for the area, which probably explains why there were a big selection less than two weeks before Christmas. To give you a gauge on pricing, the Nobel fir trees started at $150. If looking for a 7-8ft Nobel, the price was close to $180. I was completely shocked by the pricing as I was used to getting a 7-8ft Nobel for about $100-$120. I ended up getting a tree because I didn't have the time to find another lot that would have fresh trees so close to christmas. Overall, the tree is beautiful and fresh. We did have to chisel the bottom of the trunk in order for the tree to get water because there was no space between the bottom of the trunk and the stand so that the tree could get water. After it was chiseled, the tree drank a ton of water.
