COME HERE TO BUY A TREE!!!! Seriously, look no further - there's plenty of parking & PLENTY OF TREES!!! I was w my mother at a hardware store where we typically get a tree, & we wanted a small/medium-sized one, but the selection was abysmal. I suggested "those pop-up lots that sell Christmas trees" & googled Christmas tree lot & Yelp came up to my surprise w this listing first. It was a 20 min drive from where we were & it was 100000000000% worth it. We arrived less than an hour before closing, & oh my goodness. The trees here are so lovely. We were assisted by Dylan who helped us figure out which kind of tree my mother was looking for, & I noticed some of them had this beautiful dark green colour that isn't typical of trees. (They also have lighter green ones, as well as frosted "flocked" trees, blue trees, literally everything). We walked down the aisles & suddenly I saw the most heart-stopping, alarmingly beautiful tree I've ever seen. We still made our rounds to check out every tree (note the random round one I found- feel like that'd be perfect for a hotel or for a family excessively obsessed w ornaments) but as I said to my mother... when you meet the one, nobody else can compare. This tree has to be the most beautiful tree I've ever had in all my years, & it's not even decorated yet & it still catches my breath when I see it. The photos do it zero justice - truly the first time my phone camera has failed me. They have every size, and quite literally every shape. 2 options for a stand (that you fill w water every 2 days per the sign guidelines) - wood & metal. Dylan carried the tree to our car & it surprisingly fit in the backseat. They also do "flocking" (never knew this existed), AND delivery if you're too busy to come to the location. I will be returning every year here on out, if I stay in the area. Price was steep but worth it, wonderful customer service, & a very communal, festive feel. I'm just so in love with my tree, I can't believe it. Grateful that my mother wasn't impressed w the selection at the hardware store so that I could experience a Christmas like this. The entrance is on the big street perpendicular to Ximeno Ave - the directions my GPS took me to told me to make a left where it didn't make sense to. QUIT STOCKIN' AROUND & COME GET YOUR TREE!!!!!!! Wanted to give a shout out to this local Christmas tree farm. Staff is incredibly attentive, prices are absolutely reasonable and the selection of trees is outstanding. From small to large trees plus tabletop mini trees , wreaths including custom ones of different sizes. I bought my tree exactly one month before this picture. I wanted to show that after a month it's still fresh and beautiful!! This year the first 2 weeks of December were warm we were still in the 70's and a few 80's. I was worried the tree would die from the heat but it did great! . It was outdoors on my covered patio . It's not highly recommended at all. Zero for customer service. One of their "best customer service" was to tell someone that they insulted in the first place to get out of here. That someone is a professional btw and was resolving an issue on behalf of someone else. No one deserves to be treated with disrespect!! I was looking for a Christmas tree lot since it's my first year buying a Christmas tree for myself and stumbled onto this place so I had to check them out. The tree buying experience was easy and fun. A boy came and offered to help my roommate and i out super quick. We were also greeted by two big black and brown dogs! The black one is named nuts LOL. They were super friendly but not super in your face it was so cute I wanted more attention from them. We were shown a noble fir and we wanted a small tree for my small apt. It cost about $9 to frost the tree up and add white. Also we had to wait one day to pick it up but it's not bad because this place is close to my home! I love a snowy tree because it never snows in Long Beach. I will say... it's expensive here lol. But I got a #1 tree that's the best quality and it really is a nice tree. Worst tree we've ever bought, it's dropped SO many needles. We've never had a tree drop needles like this before and we've only put the lights on. I'm not sure there will be any needles left after we put ornaments on it. We used to go to Pa's lot on PCH but it moved so we tried Todd's. We'll try another tree lot next year. You get what you pay for couldn't be a truer statement. We always buy the much pricier Noble simply because we love the look. We've purchased many trees over the years from Home Depot, Lowe's and some independent tree lots. We generally buy our trees between the first and second week of December. By then, the pickings are already slim and the trees start to show brown. We wanted to support a local small business and we are soooo happy we did!! A Todd's Christmas Tree might put you over $20-$30 of what you might usually spend at a chain but let me tell you, IT IS WORTH the price! We bought our Noble right after Thanksgiving which is unheard of for our home. I was worried the tree might give out before Christmas. Well, here we are in January and our beautiful tree is green as ever!! Over a month old and NO BROWN. We are keeping this beauty for as long as we can until that happens. Usually, I buy my pumpkin and tree down near 2nd and PCH - it's an experience. But it's become all about the $$$ and not about the Christmas spirit (which kills the holiday season). I knew to come to Todd's this time. Walking through the fragrant trees under the tented area just felt like the experience truly should feel like. People were walking by with their families, their significant others, their dogs, and it was just comforting. There weren't prices on trees which honestly scared me. But once you alert someone to your tree or let them know the height and type, they'll estimate for you. It took a while. 25+ mins for ours to be trimmed and ready for payment - the lot was swamped it seemed with maybe 6 men working. But it was worth it. We got a 6 1/2 ft Doug Fir for under $60 with a water stand. read more

I hoped to be more impressed with Todd's because of the awesome reviews I read before hand. Unfortunately, this is an average tree lot with exactly as much coordination and chaos as I expected an average tree lot to have during a pandemic. I went around 5pm on a Sunday after feeling somewhat disappointed at the sparse Home Depot selections for 5-6ft trees. Todd's has great parking, awesome lighting so you really get a good look at the trees even though it's dark out, lovely trees to select from, Christmas music playing loudly to get you in the mood, and very pleasant customer service in general. Now, here are my issues: 1-There are no clear lines/signs for where to stand if you need help selecting trees vs preparing the tree fitting in a stand vs actually paying. We stood around after asking other customers who'd been helped but literally no one knew where to stand, they just randomly got helped. Finally, we trapped a young gentlemen into helping us first but only after people who arrived way after us received help before us. 2-The pricing is SUPER unclear. I bought a 5ft tall Noble tree with about an extra foot of height on it for the tree topper (no branches on that top extra foot). The guy we found to help us priced the tree without measuring its height or calculating anything; he just pulled the number out of his head. Sus. I also paid for it to get a fresh cut and a stand. It costed $110!! That doesn't include what I tipped the guy for fastening it to my car!! $110!! I bought a 7-8ft tree up in the Bay Area for my parents last weekend and that was $116! How could this tree and stand combo be $6 less when it's a good 1-2ft less?! 3-They don't shake the trees at all. Maybe it's because I'm from the Bay, but people up there shake your tree in a machine so loose needles and bugs and shit fall off before you take it home. They didn't shake my tree or trim the bottom branches off. The guy just took my tree once I said the words "fresh cut" and "stand" and walked off without letting me finish. I get that you're busy but I'm trying to support the small business here and you're making me regret it sooooo much. 4-The tree leans in the stand! *face palm* He did this to the customer he helped before me...put the tree down to show the customer and tells them "if it leans, go ahead and stand on the wood with one foot while you jerk the tree in the direction you want it to go" as he demonstrates. I should've known he'd end up doing this to me. 5-HELLA customers weren't wearing masks! Whole families of people were in the lot mask-less, walking past me and my friend. I know we are outdoors but DUDE, we are still in a pandemic. Maybe today was an off day for Todd's, or maybe I'm a spoiled Bay Area girl who understands the value of a properly functioning seasonal business in the middle of a dangerous pandemic, but my experience was entirely too average which is just disappointing. They didn't even give me the free candy canes they advertise for at the window...I am a saaaaaaaad panda with a lovely smelling, deep green tree. read more

Last year my boyfriend and I got a very small tree for our small place and the tree itself was pretty good, even though we went to Todd's for a tree, that's not what made our tree so special. We met a worker named Miles who was so kind to us and made sure that we got the best tree they had to offer. Miles went above and beyond at explaining the different types of trees and everything they had to offer. The service that Miles gave us made us so excited for the next Christmas season to get a new tree. A few days ago I saw that Todd's was open and I told my boyfriend that we could only get a tree from there. We were hoping that miles was going to be there and when we walked up to the lot he was the first one to greet us! We were so happy because we knew that our tree picking experience was going to be just as good as the last time if not better. Tree is basically dead 1 week after purchase. Tried to get a new one or a refund and they hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Spent over $200 for a dead tree. We watered every day and now it won't drink at all and is just shedding all its needles. What a mess! Won't be purchasing from them ever again. read more

What a great Christmas Tree experience! This place is simple but perfect for us! It seems to be ran by locals, everyone was so helpful and polite! The owners had their adorable pups roaming the land welcoming everyone! And most importantly, literally every single tree looked great! And they were well priced! Deets: every type of tree from Douglas Firs, Nobles and everything in between. The 6 foot Douglas starts at $49 just to give you an idea of pricing. (I think we paid around $85 for a 6.5 foot Noble and it was beautiful!) They do flocking here and it was the cheapest over the phone quote that I got from the few that I called. We have been to most of the tree lots but something about the simplicity and friendliness of this lot made it our favorite!
