    Asada tacos, rice, and beans.

Asada meat was bland and rice was undercooked. The tortillas they use is really flimsy. I ordered 3 tacos, rice, and beans which came out to $20. Not worth the price. Service was ok, I ordered to-go so I couldn't really judge it. Ambiance was clean. Better tacos at a taco truck and much cheaper.

I visited Robles today for lunch. No one really talked to us except the lady at the counter only to ask what we wanted. We had a lot of questions, but answered were few and far between. The menu is above the counter and award to read. But, I asked if I could get a Chili relleno with rice and beans and add a chicken taco. My daughter got 2 tacos shredded beef and rice and beans with a side taco beef, drinks were separate. There were two or three people in and out with to go orders, but we got our orders in a timely manner. The plate looked nice and it is full! A good sized plate of food, for me it was not authentic, too much tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, bell peppers on top of my relleno. It was ok, but I would not order it again. The salsa was very hot, I started coughing. I eat Mexican food very often, I like spice, but it brought tears to my eyes. The tacos were good, my chicken was soaked enchilada sauce, did not care for it. The dining area was clean and they hurried to clear tables right away. I may go back , just to see if it gets better, at some point. For $46.00 for two people at lunch I am looking for better!

Found this gem on google maps and do not regret. I love everything about it. Their salsa is my favorite and they give a complimentary chips with your order. Found my go to taco spot that's closer to me!

Walked in and was greeted. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Place was clean and felt welcome. Took us about 5-10 minutes to look over the menu and finally decided what the four of us decided to ordered. Put in our ordered and the food was cooked fresh. I rather wait for hit and fresh food than it being cold. The also table was nice and had various salsa you can try. Would recommend this place and we'll definitely be back to try other things.

Very happy with the experience and food here. It's a mom and pop restaurant with a wide variety menu and a salsa bar. We ordered a breakfast burrito with chorizo and another breakfast burrito with carne asada to go. Both were good size burritos and came with a little bag of complimentary chips. We will definitely be back to try other items like carne asada fries and tostada and albondiga soup.

So good!!! And great service. We got the asada torta and carnitas nachos.. BOMB! We also got an horchata which was sooo good. Loved it, definitely coming back!

Called it quits after pulling this out ... every bite ...

A friend recommended this spot due to the prices, tacos and salsas. I tried them yesterday on Taco Tuesday and was super eager to try the salsas for myself. It was very clean inside and the staff was super friendly. The salsa bar was refreshing and looked delicious. I ordered the asada burrito and asked if they had pastor. The woman advised the adobada is the same. The portions were very nice considering the price. I took each salsa with me and headed home. Adobada taco - was very good. Unfortunately, the grease spilled everywhere on my drive home. A little concerning that 1 taco could leak that much grease. Was yummy but probably wouldn't try again based on the amount of grease one taco produced. Asada burrito - horrible. Maybe I just had a bad day but EVERY BITE had some sort of gristle or some other chewy inedible parts in it. Unfortunately, after four bites or so, I couldn't go on. It's bad when you have to worry if you'll be pulling out something out of your mouth with every bite. About 3/4 of the burrito was trashed. Chips and Salsa - now here is where the goodness is! I loved each salsa for difference reasons. They're definitely a winner when it comes to salsas. To be honest ... I would come back for the salsas ... but not sure about the proteins. Afraid to try the chicken. :(

Such a lucky find! This place has excellent food, fresh ingredients, excellent aguas, a full salsa bar, friendly staff who know exactly what you want and serve up great food with love. The interior is simple with standard tables and chairs but the food quality and taste rivals sit down dining restaurants. We tried the queso birria with consommé. The meat was flavorful and juicy without being too greasy. They filled the tacos full with generous queso so you get that cheese pull. Consommé was not salty or greasy. Excellent all around. My husband ordered a steak and eggs plate (not on the menu) but they accommodated and the steak was thin, but massive as it stretched across the whole plate. Served with sautéed vegetables which were excellent and a side of golden fried potatoes and refried beans. We also tried the Avis with pineapple, cucumber and lime, very good and fresh. Honestly the flavor was very good. Will definitely come back to try their curries, tacos, and soup items. They serve it all: menudo, pozole, and albondiga.

Asada meat is terrible. Very large chunks of chewy beef with no flavor. Beans and rice were incredibly bland, the rice just tasted like plain white rice.

    Asada burrito supreme
    Rachel J.

Got lunch here for work last week as I'm still trying to find a good taqueria after moving to the area. My partner got the burrito supreme with asada and I got the chile verde nachos. They don't have any online ordering so you have to place the order over the phone and go pick it up. You will have to get your own salsa from their salsa bar, so make sure to budget your time for that if you're trying to fit the food pickup into a lunch break like I was. The order was ready when I arrived though so it wasn't too bad. Prices are average and so is the food. My partner liked his burrito but said it wasn't anything to write home about. My nachos were ok as well. They give plenty of toppings for sure, it's just very average flavor. I couldn't finish them all and ended up throwing away the leftovers after they got too old in the fridge. That's usually my indicator that food didn't wow me very much. So overall, it's close enough to work that I might try it again, but probably after I try all the other taquerias in the area first.

We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

The Local gets the job done if you need a quick bite during the work day. I tried the BBQ Bleu Burger, which comes loaded with bleu cheese crumbles, BBQ sauce, bacon jam, fried onions, and the usual burger fixings. The burger itself was generously sized, but the patty was underseasoned, and the dominant flavors were mainly the bleu cheese and BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and felt it lacked flavor. Our kids split the mac & cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich, but neither was a hit. Even the grilled cheese went mostly untouched, by my kids which was unexpected. On the plus side, the outdoor patio is cozy and looks like a great spot for fall dining with a drink in hand. They also offer brunch, though it's available by reservation only.
