We went there last year and got rice burritos with a hint of beans. My honey was brave enough to try a second time, and this time asked for less rice and more beans. Not only was it mostly rice again, he had to go back and ask for more beans. The goth server with a multitude of facial piercings was reluctant to even acknowledge him, even though she stared right at him while he talked. He had to ask the cashier to ask for more beans, then she barely dipped into get me little more than a tablespoon. The place is small and nicely decorated. It's very clean as was the restrooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating and answered all the many questions I had. The food was AMAZING, I had a a chicken burrito, and I know that sounds simple but there was just something about it that I can't quite put my finger on but it was totally delicious. I bought a couple of their hot sauces and they were very tasty, but to be honest I got the hot sauce on the mild to medium range. I love everything about Rob's. From the edgy (often loud) rock - hard rock music pumping through the restaurant, to the staff - always friendly and helpful, though not always what "some" would consider front line wait staff , to the food..... Always amazing and made to perfection. Special requests are handled with precision. I highly recommend giving this local, family business a try! My favorite is the Surf and Turf with Peach Warrior sauce but there are so many delicious options. My only "wish" is that you would offer a delivery option like Uber eats... even if it is only during off peak times of the day. The first time I went to Robs, I went to the one at the Eastern market. I got the surf and turf burrito without the tortilla. It had good flavor and was a good portion. This issue is when I picked up food 2/14 for Valentine's Day. I got the exact same thing, the portion was so small and it was the exact same price as previously. Not sure if the staff was just having a bad day or what the issue was. Both bowls were $12 and I think it was a huge slap in the face. I will not be returning. Please save your money. read more

The chicken Roburrito with extra Pearl Harbor sauce is always my go to burrito. As good today as it has always been. I have always and will continue to recommend Roburrito's to everyone looking for something just a little different. I currently live in NC and have been craving Rob's for the last year and a half. I finally traveled home for a visit anddddd was not met with the same quality as I remember. Granted, this location is not my favorite, but I figured it was worth the gamble. I never suggest ordering Rob's as take out. The experience just really is not the same. I always get the chicken burritodilla meal-- it comes with a drink, chips, pico, guacamole, and sour cream. Much to my dismay, Rob's didn't have limeade that day and they forgot to put sour cream and guac in my bag (which I didn't realize until I had already left.) Food was kinda soggy from being wrapped up, which, again, is mostly from getting take out, but the flavor was lacking that day. Sauces did not disappoint though-- I bought a Curse of Dracula and Texas Hold'em to take back to NC with me. Kind of a bummer that it's .50 extra for a sauce cup, but, if you eat there, it's free. Obviously I'm going to return, but probably will go to the Eastern Market location. Gotta say, the people at this one were still pretty nice though. read more

I love when I call this business to try and support a local company, nine times out of ten they put me on hold and NEVER come back to the phone. I understand being busy but there is no need to put someone on hold and never come back to the phone. Ive had a couple friends tell me to go here for a while and i finally did!! I got a regular burrito with potatoes and everything on it. I did a combo to get chips/salsa and a fountain drink. Delicious. Sauces are tasty. The only gluten free choices are toppings on chips cold or nachos so be prepared. Flour tortilla Burritos. No corn tortillas. Cheesy goodness served with a punk rock attitude. I go here when I need my cheesy, sour cream, guacamole fix! They have a few locations (in Central Market, on Market Street, and in Red Lion). They are not fast (unless you say, "dude, I'm in a f***in rush, can you hook me up"), but they are gooooood and worth the short wait! Don't go here if you are thinking California style burritos, this place is run by a skater. So no cushy places to sit, no artsy BS. Very rude employees!! We walked in from 90+ temps with masks covering our mouths only. We were immediately yelled (mumbled) at from a female in the back. We couldn't understand her at 1st until the rest of the staff all yelling cover your nose with other insults. After being insulted from the door we chose to leave as we weren't given a chance. Not wanting my food tempered with from their disrespectful staff was also a thought. As we walked out staff female yelled Round The Clock Diner is up the street no masks required. Blurb: Not really sure how Roburrito's has anything less than a full 5 star average here on Yelp. I've been coming to Robs (at their various locations) since around 2006. In fact it was I believe the first burrito I had ever had (other than Taco Bell *gross*). Yes, the atmosphere can be grating especially if you're over 30. But I have always had amazing service, the order has been accurate on all but two occasions over 10 years. Plus the food is nearly always phenomenal. I take every friend that is in town visiting to this place and hands down they have all loved it. Most pine after it sadly once they've gone. Food: Burrito - Steak and potato, extra guac, w/any of grumpy marks sauces. Pearl Harbor, Curse of Dracula, Peach Warrior are my favs. Quesadilla/Burritodilla - My daughter will tell you that their quesadilla is great! I definitely order it when I'm in the mood for cheese overload. Taco Salad - Addictive dressing. Srsly I don't know what they have in it but it's so good. Crispy taco shell filled with chicken lettuce cucumber guac and beans. Definitely not healthy but delicious. GUAC GUAC GUAC Their guac is amazing as are their fresh fried tortilla chips. Bland... Okay, I understand they're catering to a particular crowd. But it's really got that Yuppie-healtharito feel to it. Both my wife and I were disappointed. A friend loves this place and I was so excited. Hoping to find a nice southern California style taco joint alike to Alberto/Roberto/Aibertos in San Diego. Went for the first time during lunch and waited about 50 minutes from when we called until we got our food. The cashier had the order done for a while and when we asked they realized our food had been sitting there while they gave other customers their food out of order. Besides the wait I thought the burrito would be good. It was a joke. 90% of it was rice. The other ingredients in the burrito were delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I like the Dallastown location much better. The first time I went there I got pick up. They gave me the wrong order and refused to refund me my money. I ordered a vegan (potato) burrito and they gave me steak and chicken burritos. I was told that I got a 'more expensive' meal so they couldn't refund my money. I was also told that they would write my name on a post it and put it next to the phone and the next time I came in, I could get a free meal. Uh, what? I called my credit card company and got a refund. Problem solved. That was summer 2017. The second time I went there... I figured, it's been a while. It's March 2018. The strange cashier probably has quit by now. So, I walk in. There are two 8-10 year old kids sitting and playing games on their phones. The female cashier is having a LOUD discussion with the kitchen worker(hand the pick up customer the bags worker) about 2000's rap songs that are about F------. I mean, had she said 2000's songs that are euphemisms for sex, I would have been a little unnerved, but almost okay with the conversation. They continued their conversation. I got reminded of 50 Cent's Candyshop and how the mention of lolipop is really d---. Missy Elliot's Work It and the line 'eat it like a vulture' is about p----. It went on and on. Which might be a euphemism, but I don't know. So I stood in line, I was trying to decide if I should say something, I mean I'm a teacher, and they were so LOUD. Like, speaking in ALL CAPS LOUD. Then some York College students came in, bought something with a flexpass-- and the cashier screwed up their order. She couldn't figure out how to refund the money on the flex pass... she couldn't authorize giving him an extra burrito or something, but determined that the best solution would be to WRITE HIS NAME ON A POST IT and put it next to the phone. At this point I realized that by purchasing a burrito, I would be supporting cashierial (not a word, I know) dysfunction, so I left... burrito-less. They didn't notice or care. I really like Roburritos. I agree with others who say that their rice is very bland. They need to use of seasoning on it. However, their potatoes are delicious! As a vegetarian, a lot of burritos are tasteless for me, but Rob's potatoes make it! My only other suggestion would be to have salsa other than pico de galo. Its bland. Have other choices with varying degrees of spiciness. Service is OK. Once I called in an order and was informed it was an hour wait. Usually they are pretty fast though. read more

Seeing the high reviews of this place has me confused... This is a thoroughly mediocre burrito. There is hardly anything about the flavors that are even remotely "Mexican". This seriously tasted like something I could have put together in 5 minutes with store bought items. The tortillas taste like ones you can buy from a super market, the chicken was extremely basic chicken breast - hardly seasoned - same with the rice and beans. The guac and pico de gallo were ok, but nothing spectacular. Overall, the flavors weren't offensive or anything but you can do better just by going to one of the burrito chains. To top it off, they almost charged me 50 cents for a tiny to go container of their hot sauce, which wasn't even good! read more
