Was very disappointed last night. My husband and my dinner were both over cooked and we weren't offer any discount. He ordered there steak medium rare and it came out more medium well. They didn't offer to make him a new one or any discount. I got their Alfredo with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was over cooked and hard to chew. Plus they charged you $12 extra for 4 shrimp. The Alfredo had a tomatoe taste and color to it as well. Not your regular Alfredo and it didn't say anything about tomatoe Alfredo sauce on the menu. Bartender ever even asked us if our meals were okay, just said I'm sorry when we told him we were not satisfied with our meals. Never offered for us to talk to a manager or anything. Just handed us our bill. Very poor service. Don't recommend eating dinner here.

This is my second time here. It was just as good the 2nd time as the 1st. The food was as good. My recommendation is the crab cake egg rolls!! BOMB!! I got the Tri Pit salad...see picture!! My wife got the French dip sandwich and that was good as much as my wife would share, which wasn't much other to see it! service was excellent and the whole staff from host to server were amazing. We sat outside but the place has several places to eat with the restaurant and all vary between each section.

White rose is honestly one of the cutest spots in York in my opinion. There is a parking lot right in front of the restaurant along with street parking so it's super convenient. The food is yummy, service is great and the ambiance is open and refreshing! Anytime I'm in York I will be stopping in.

One of the best spots in York! Have been here many times and it never disappoints no matter if it's for lunch, dinner, or just coming to grab some drinks. Come early though, they don't take reservations so it's first come first serve. The menu is big! Tons of different options. They have great seafood options too. The Crab Pretzel appetizer is great and shareable. So many of the Handheld choices are delicious. Tried the Cajun Seafood Wrap and it was so good! Great sweet potato fries as well! If you're getting drinks, the bar has plenty of options! Great selection of beer and cocktails. And always made well. White Rose is a really fun spot! The inside has plenty of seating and a cool vibe. There are 2 different bars inside as well. Definitely give White Rose a try if you're in town!

Our over our time spent here was a little under an hour. Our server was super friendly and quick to greet us. She was prompt about filling our waters as well. The overall area was super clean with a very calm ambience. The food came out steaming hot however on the BLT, the bacon was overly greasy and There was way too much on the sandwich in my opinion. If you're a bacon lover, then this is the sandwich for you!

Great service at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the crab dip with tortilla chips. I liked the taste of the dip, and that the chips were thicker, but they were so greasy I couldn't enjoy the dip!

This was my second time eating here and the half and half soup was still delicious, full of crab meat and nice and hot. My entree consisted of the Atlantic salmon, baked potato, and broccoli, quite filling. Our service was good and the seating in the area we were in accommodated the 7 friends with me. My only issue was the bathroom filled with high school aged girls in there talking, gossiping and being in the way. Other than that, all was well and I'll be back.

Stopped in for a drink and some appetizers and had a great time! We sat outside- great area for outside dining right downtown. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive. We ordered the pretzel bites, bang bang shrimp and the crown apple Moscow mules. The shrimp was delicious and a large portion size for the price, the pretzels were maybe a tad overdone but still tasted really good and also a large portion for a great price! The drinks were good and served in the classic mule mug! Overall a great experience, not 5 stars because I didn't have a full meal but I'm excited to come back and try some more of the menu!

The server did a great job with making sure that our drinks were filled, and we had to go boxes and brought our food out in a timely manner. Some of the appetizer choices were the calamari, fried kale and crab claw lollipops. All three were absolutely outstanding, and the portions were large. For dinner, our choices are rockfish, lobster, mac & cheese, filet mignon, or grilled chicken green curry. Again, the portion sizes were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. We were able to choose from a flourless chocolate torte or cheesecake. I forgot to mention that the Caesar salad was so fresh and the dressing was outstanding. I would like to come back and experience the restaurant and their entire menu. The upstairs had a fun, urban feel with a fireplace and a cool bar. We felt comfortable and it was a fun vibe.

Darwin would be displeased with you. As am I, because it's never good to have a tired teacher…read moreresearch any kind of history on her day off. You see, back in 17th century England, private houses would open their homes to the public and sell food and beer. Hence, public house. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.
