This review is all about the chopped wedge salad!!!! Wow....what a disappointment! I ordered a salad and was expecting a great salad full Of all the yummy things in a wedge salad. I was served basically a side salad for $12 . I was a little shocked that the salad was in a small bowl with a few slices of onion, iceberg lettuce a few tomatoes a few tiny crumbles of bacon and small side of blue cheese dressing. Where was the actual blue cheese???? I asked for a little extra dressing because it was such a skimpy amount served. To my shock, they charged $3 dollars for a side of the dressing!!!?????? What?????? I asked the bartender if this was a mistake and he said no...that's what he's supposed to charge!!!??? The bartender said...I know it's ridiculous! So, this will be my first and last time here! If the salad was made correctly, there wouldn't need to an extra charge for a dressing to improve the quality of the salad! Where to start? I've been to this location a few times and to be honest, the service is never *that* great, but today took the cake! It's clean enough in here and the ambiance is cool, but the service today, LACKED. From not being greeted with so much as a hello or glass of water, to ordering a salad, waiting 10 minutes to be told that salad isn't available, to waiting 30+ minutes for a different salad with barely warm salmon, to no paper towel in the restroom, this place needs a serious overhaul. Located across the street from Bed Bath & Beyond off Delco and Hall Road there is this hidden gem for cigar smokers. The ambiance is cozy, warm, inviting...and very smoky! LOL My friend and I live within minutes of this bar. We enjoy trying out new locations to sample wine, beer or margarita's (all our fav's). While not being smokers we heard the burgers here were excellent so we decided to meet up at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. To our surprise the place was fairly well packed at that time in the middle of the week. We both ordered the Wagyu Steak Burger, which came with fries. The burgers were one of the best that we have ever had! The burgers were very meaty, moist and tasty. The fries were crisp and hot. We didn't leave one morsel on our plates. My friend ordered a beer and I had a glass of cabernet sauvignon. The server assisted me with my wine selection. I really liked the brand of red wine that they had available. The wine glasses were very clean, pretty and perfect for the selection (I really enjoy the presentation of the wine so the glass matters to me). Just for kicks, I decided to check out the restroom to see if it was clean like the rest of the place looked. The restroom for ladies was well appointed and very clean. As their website indicates, Robusto's is indeed a sanctuary for the cigar smoker. I had heard great things about the lounge, and decided to travel out for a visit. There is a huge private parking lot, so there are definitely no issues there. I was surprised when I sauntered in. The decor is beautiful, and definitely santuary-esque. There's a variety of seating areas. One could sit in the mix of others, pull up to the ample bar, or even find a quiet retreat. The menu is outstanding. You can pair bar food with your cigar experience, or have a juicy steak. I ordered steak sliders and a wedge salad. Both were very tasty. The drinks I had were great. The bar is filled with the necessary cigar pairing liquors and much more. The bartender who served me was delightful. I enjoyed eavesdropping on his conversations with the regulars. You'll find a great humidor here, filled with the best cigar brands. If you smoke cigars, you know how important good ventilation is. The system at Robusto's works supremely well. We needed to stay close to home tonight but wanted to try something different and new. This is not easy to find in the "Golden Corridor" on M59. Everything is pretty generic here. There are some fairly decent restaurants and all, but we were looking for an experience. Not just food. So I took to Yelp. I found out that there's this little cigar bar in the corner of a strip mall, next to a matress shop. Ohhh I realized I had noticed the sign before, but it's tucked so far back that I never looked any further. I assumed it was a place that would be shut down in no time. Who would even know it was there? But, I now know this place is a hidden gem! I'm almost hesitant to even review it, because I would hate for it to get too big, and then we can't even get in. It's a small spot, but the owners did an awesome job at utilizing the space. For such a small area, there is plenty of seating, with out feeling jammed in. There's bar seating, table seating, and these cozy leather seats. There's also a ton of TVs, so you can watch the game from just about anywhere in the place. Unknown to us, we showed up right before the start of an Ugly Christmas Sweater party. This place filled up! Thank God we had our seats at the bar, or we wouldn't have been able to get in. Now, most places can do one thing right but get the rest wrong. But, this place has it all right. The service was the only thing lacking but it was not awful or anything. It was super busy. They have a wide variety of liquor and I don't know my liquor, but I was told that the selection was impressive. The bartender seemed to know quite a lot of signature cocktails. It was fun watching her make a variety of drinks. They had a small craft beer selection and a variety of wines. Cocktails seemed to be their forte though. There were even flights of whiskey, scotch, tequila, and others available, and 1 oz pours were offered. Nice touch! I ordered the filet, he ordered the brisket tacos. This is where I started to take away stars. The tacos came out 20 min before the steak...uhh...why? So after 15 min of it sitting in front of him, I mentioned to the bar tender, that his food was going to be cold. She shrugged and was like, "oh. Yeah that's faster than the steak " completely clueless. We had to ask her to please place it under a warmer (and truly it should be been redone, but we aren't going to cause an issue). It was bizarre that someone in the restaurant business doesn't know not to bring food out to one person, then leave the other one hanging. Then not pick up on the fact that it's not being touched...I don't know. The behavior was odd. Anyway. My filet came out. I ordered it medium rare. It came medium well. Either way it was delicious. Melted in my mouth. Oddly, for $19, the only side was some spinach and mushrooms, but oh well. Steak was good and it was a good serving size. There is a large walk in humidor that you can go in and select a cigar to enjoy. The managers were quick to assist us in making our choices and were very knowledgeable. Once it started to get busy, the bar tender completely forgot about us. Which was weird because we were sitting in front of her. She never asked if we wanted more drinks. I was frustrated because I wanted to order dessert and a cappuccino, but since she never even looked at us again after we ate, that was impossible. I tried for about a half hour to ask for dessert. Finally I asked for the bill. That took an additional 15 min. I sort of felt like we were bothering her. I think the fact that there seemed to be a lot of friends and family there for the party was a contributing factor. So, I know I said they did everything right, then complained about the service and only gave 3 stars. This is because I really loved this place and want to give it another shot. Perhaps when it's not so busy. I think that it may become a favorite of mine. It is convenient and different. I can see myself sitting in there after work and enjoying a cocktail and a cigar. I was invited to Robusto's by one of my friends. It didn't look like much from the outside, but I was Pleasantly surprised upon entry. There's a few different seating options, high tops, leather seats, and tables. The ventilation was great, very little smoke permeating in the air. There was a Davidoff event going on and they were offering specials on the cigars and cocktails. I tried one of the cigars and ordered the steak sliders and wings. The libations were awesome. The sliders were delicious and flavorful, you gotta try them. The wings stole the show, and the sauce for the wings was fantabulous!!! I definitely recommend this place. read more

Service is mediocre, the lack of education and knowledge on cigars isn't there, not a good selection, Stale cigars and food is okay to not good. I've experienced the best service ever in a cigar lounge! From walking in and being greeted with a smile, getting educated on new cigars I've never tried before and the servers just being on point! The selection is incredible! From cigars, wine, scotches, whiskeys and bourbon ect... now for the food.... the best steaks in all of Michigan! YES! You heard me right! THE BEST STEAKS IN MICHIGAN! The burger was good and juicy, however, I asked to SUBSTITUTE the fries for a salad and the waitress said yes.. fast forward I get the bill and it was a $3 up charge. I said something to her about not notifying me of it and she pretty much gave me the oh well that's your problem look. Didn't apologize or anything. I work in a restaurant and if you want to change something a SUBSTITUTE is free and if there is a charge it's an upgrade and you TELL people before you just tack it on to make sure they still want it. EDIT: I was just informed that they have 2 ounce pours of their whiskeys, not 1 ounce. That makes their prices much more reasonable. Therefore, I can give them a 5 star review. They just opened today (7/9/18), with the official grand opening scheduled in a week or two. So far, the cigars are reasonably priced, the food menu seems pricey, but the quality is there. Their weak spot right now is their whiskey prices. I'm a bourbon drinker, and they are charging a LOT for 1 ounce pours. If they bring their drink prices in line with what other cigar lounges are charging, this will be an easy 5-star place. As it is, with the quality of the food and the prices of the cigars, it's still a solid 4 stars. I will update this review as needed, since I plan to be here regularly. read more

Tucked away at the corner of a plaza, located off of hall rd. I was surprised to see how small this place was. It's very casual and offers table seating and couches fir relaxing with a cigar or hookah. They have the largest array of whiskies I've ever seen. Impressive. I tried the calamari and steak tips to start off with. Wow, both delicious! I had a chicken roll up in a wrap and my partner had steak. We were impressed, both very good dishes. Wow what a horrible experience. Was really excited to try this place for the first time and planned out what i was going to eat all day because i had a long day at work. But when i got there, apparently the restuarant going through a transition. Half of their menu is gone and was very limited to choose from their temporary menu. My buddies and i ordered dragons mead and our waitor came back and informed us they no longer carried that. Everything we tried to order seems like they no longer have it on the menu. It really ruined our first time experience and we had very high expectation for this place. The food was awful for the price we paid. My friend ordered a $60 ribeye which doesnt come with any sides at all. He offered me a piece to try and let me tell you it was very mediocre. With $60, you can get a much better steak and it comes with sides at either Morton's Steakhouse or Ruth's Chris. I got their $20 signature burger and specifically told them MEDIUM and oh man it came back well done. I didnt want to wait another 30 mins to send the food back and get another because it was already late and they're about to close for the night. I had to suck it up and ate the super dry unflavorful burger. With $20 i could've had a even better burger at Red Coat Tavern and its cheaper there too. After we left, we were still hungry and had to stop at taco bell and mcdonalds. Despite from everything, the only good thing about the place is their decor and our waitor was really pleasant. Im pretty sure they just had a new manager or something because everything was terrible that night. What a big disappointment.
