Don't get me wrong, I take no issue with charging more for better brands, but prices between $60-$75 are unreasonable for a charity thrift store. Goodwill may do the same, but not to the same extent. This is NOT a thrift store - it is more on par with consignment prices. I just don't like that they get these clothes donated and then mark them up and call themselves an 'affordable thrift shop'. It's false advertising and frankly - especially considering their likely exemption from taxes - a little greedy.

The women at the counter took a long, long while to figure out the cash register.

The shop has a variety of items preloved from contemporary to high end designer. I took my time to browse the clothes, shoes, bags, scarves and belts. As I picked out items, a friendly lady offered to take some items to a dressing room for me. That was helpful because it allowed me to free up my hands and arms to continue to sift through the items. I scored a couple pieces that I found. I was told they get new pieces daily. I look forward to going back as a regular customer.

The value/price placed on free donated items should be priced at a fair market value. Consistent and reasonable. But on multiple occasions brand new items with their original tag still attached, are being marked up higher than they were originally sold for. This is showing greed and lack of empathy for the community. Disappointed.

Although the shop is small, there is a lot of clothes to choose from and everything is organized well. Parking is available behind the shop along the small side street behind the shop. Cons: As mentioned, the inside of the shop is a tight fit, not much room to move around. Because of this, do NOT bring your child with you -shopping childless is not a con however ;-). No fault to the shop, but the turn getting back on York Road is scary, there is a hill and it is hard to see when pulling back out into traffic.

This spot had items varying from small to at least a 6x or larger. I did find a few items to my liking, whcih was one pair of pants that were brand new and they were for tall ladies too, a great find for me which is hard in regular stores to find and one top. I was able to try on the items, which I am glad that was an option. I wanted this red dress that came with a belt, which was a 3x, but it was cut like a 1x to 2x in the waist, so that was a no go. This spot has really nice items, some used and some new for both women and men. There is plenty of parking across the street as well as a few spots in front of the store. So check them out. Also they always looking gently used or new items to add to their collection.

I treated my wife to a day of shopping and Last Tango was one of our stops. From the moment we walked in until we left, Ella was great. After only 45 seconds of meeting my wife, she picked out a beautiful dress that looked absolutely stunning on her. Although most of Ella's merchandise is priced way above what most people are used to paying at a thrift or consignment store, there is no denying the quality and authenticity of ALL of her items. Overall, Last Tango and Ella provided my wife with a great experience.
