We shared the Bluelight Special"which is not widely advertised. Todays special was ribs with chicken along with baked beans and potato salad. Also includes a drink. It was so good! The ribs melted in your mouth and the chicken tasted like it just came off the BBQ! Even their beans were very tasty! It was plenty of food to share plus leftovers! They allow well behaved dogs inside and also have patio seating. It's a very relaxing place with some good specials! Another good experience with really good food! Ps. First let me start by saying I eat at Rocco's once a week (because I love it there) and 9 of 10 times I order a burger because their burgers are FABULOUS! As are their homemade kettle chips and their menu is so diverse and their specials are always fun. Oh and they have great happy hours, too! I also super appreciate that their kind, forgiving chefs are always willing to make my burger the way I like it (extra well)! (I have a chef in the family who gives me hell for charring good meat, but that's the way I like it). So hats off to the chefs! The servers are always nice and helpful and the ambiance is pub casual and very welcoming. Go to Rocco's when you're in Colusa - you won't be disappointed! 5-stars all around! read more

One of my all time favorites. Such a classic spot. From the exposed brick, to the hardwood bar, the Friday night prime rib, and the small town atmosphere... you simply can't beat this spot. The cuisine is made with pride and the service is amazing. We were served by Sabrina and she made us feel like part of the family. The wedge salad with chicken is the best I've ever had - and I'm a wedge salad guy. If I could give 6 stars I would. My son loves the double-grilled-cheese-cheeseburger which would stop my heart if I ate it but fun to watch him smash a few thousand calories. Enjoy people read more

This is a cool spot with good service and some really good food. Better be hungry if you order the onion rings! They are huge!

We got two of the bloody Mary's they came with appetizers to enjoy with the a giant onion ring and two skewers with cucumber, cheese, and meat. We then shared the Ultimate grilled Cheeseburger and it was plenty of food for the both of us with waffle fries and fresh ranch. Delicious! Excellent service. The food was well prepared, generous portions and super fresh. I got the open face chicken flatbread sandwich. The balsamic glaze was super yummy. The lettuce was fresh and sweet, and the tomatoes were juicy and delicious. The flatbread was grilled perfectly. My dad got the burrito bowl. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the romaine was fresh and crisp. I was too full for dessert but they all looked so good! Next time! read more

Went here for the first time on a Saturday night. Three of us arrived well before the crowd, but for some reason they made us wait to be seated for a very long time even though 90 percent of the tables were available- and we had a reservation. The dinner salad was fresh and crispy- would definitely order this again. Sliders were over cooked and the bun was dry had to ask for mayo. The french fries were soggy and tasteless. My friend ordered the ribeye which was cooked medium rare as she requested and she said it was very flavorfull. Our waitress was attentive and super friendly-I think her name was Daisy. My wife n grandson Grant I just had dinner at Rocco's. Thursday is not prime rib nite. Wife n I shared the bone in ribeye med rare and a wedge salad. The salad was fresh d ed the cheese and fried onions. Very good. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasty. The veggies were al dente and the sweet potatoes fries were very good. Grant said too much food. He had the tortilla soup and special bread with a drizzle of balsamic dressing. Yummy. Atmosphere was quiet and service was friendly. We will be back. read more

3rd visit but it's been years. What a wonderful whole in the wall across from the court house. Friendly staff, especially our waitress Lisa. Excellent menu option for lunch and dinner at decent prices. You could even share the portions. They have a daily Blue Light special which my friend had....entree, side and soda for $14. I had the chicken ranch n bacon wrap with side salad for $18. Our total bill with a coffee was $38. Can't wait to go back n try more option!!! read more

This is a traditional family style American restaurant and bar with excellent fare at very reasonable prices. We had enormous cuts of deliciously seasoned prime rib, which they serve on Saturday night. Get there early for rare cuts. They make their own Caesar salad dressing, which really made this side stand out. Portions are huge. My husband had a baked potato with all the trappings as one of his sides. Rice side was nutty and well-spiced. Veggies not overcooked. Don't let the dour host worry you; the servers are excellent. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you're in town. read more

The steak fettuccine is absolutely awesome, wonderful flavors. The service is fabulous every once in a while - the energy in the building cool it's kind of ancient feeling as a vintage motif- Definitely historical, I look forward to trying more of the food here. It's been quite a few years since my last visit and Rocco's did not disappoint. We were part of the after lunch crew, so the place was fairly empty. After spending the morning working in the yard and doing chores, Rocco's was a great place to slow down and recuperate. Overall we continue to like coming here. This review is for dinner on a Friday night starting at 5:45pm Aug 2023 Very nice, friendly and hard working servers. Tonights experience was that our service was VERY slow however most likely due to the restaurant being overwhelmed right before us with two large parties and certainly not the fault of our servers. They worked very hard. We were seated right away. They were out of menus as well as silverware however within 5 minutes we received our silverware and one menu (later they appeared to have many more menus, so most likely this happens rarely). Prices overall are fair. Both the unique garlic bread and onion rings are very nice. I was really looking forward to Rocco's slow smoked Prime Rib and it turned out to be ok, just not close to the best prime rib I've ever had. Considering it came with a fully loaded baked potato, beautifully cooked veggies as well as a nice side salad ahead of time and all for $38, I was pleased. The Quinea Bowl was very nice except that the added Chicken (extra $6.99) was cold and possibly. We recommend this bowl however best to not order it with chicken. We realky enjoy the feel, the atmosphere and will continue to be back whenever we are heading back from the Bay area to our home in Chico. Thank you Rocco employees. read more

WOW!!! What a terrific surprise! From the outside you'd never guess what a jewel you'll find behind those doors. Small and intimate with awesome food and service. They were ready with answers to questions about the menu and the history of the place. We had salads, steaks, chicken, hamburger and pasta and it was all wonderful. The servings were huge too. Really great place to eat, friendly and food was really great! You have to try the Roccos garlic bread, it's one of a kind. Had the bacon wrapped filet, wife had braised beef which was very tender and just enjoy seasoning. I know this is a spot for the locals, but if you have chance yo be around this area.
