They have good food, but bad customer service. My toddler son has severe food allergies to dairy. I called and was going to place an order for the rest of the family, but wanted to know if they had wings/chicken, pasta w/o cheese for him. The woman on the phone seemed upset and said, "everything has dairy, ma'am" and hung up the phone. I had to call again because I did want to order food for the rest of the family. I've ordered from here before about 2 months ago and we loved the pizzas. We had previously ordered the sunny deluxe and vegetarian pizzas. Since we had such a good experience with them in the past we decided to order from them again. I don't know what has happened between two months ago and now but the pizza we ordered today did not seem like it came from the same place. This time I ordered a large chicken club pizza and a large sunny deluxe pizza as well as 2 meatballs. The order came with two 2L sodas which I appreciated. Unfortunately the chicken club pizza was inedible. Everyone tried a bite and no one was willing to take a slice because it didn't taste appetizing. For the sunny deluxe, it was okay. It wasn't nearly as tasty as the one we had from them 2 months ago but it was still edible. We also ordered two meatballs that tasted okay as well. Super good pizza- we got the Rocco's special minus the mushrooms. And the garlic knots were yummy so was was the garlic dipping sauce that came with them. Salad was simple, but crisp and fresh- seemed like homemade italian dressing. Definitely better for "to-go" or delivery, not much in the way of seating/restaurant. This was my first and last call to this place. I never got a chance to eat their food because my phone call for delivery was so awful I couldn't even finish my order. The man taking my order was extremely rude and spoke to me in a very condescending and disrespectful tone. He expressed great annoyance when I told him where I lived and I said Escondido, and he was more annoyed that I did not give my address right away. After he asked again I told him my address (I live in a gated community and he said its very hard to deliver here as its hard to navigate inside). I only live less than 2 miles from the place but I couldn't leave my house because of a zoom meeting; with this, this should have been an easier delivery. He said bluntly "Okay so what do want??". I was so offended by the way he talked to me especially since all I wanted was to order a pizza. I simply told him "I don't like the way you are speaking to me I am going to order elsewhere". Honestly the menu looked promising but this customer service was the worst, which is extremely counterintuitive in the food business. read more

I am leaving this feedback, because a co-worker, and would make the same order every other payday one large pepperoni and jalapenos . (every other week) and we would show up in our work uniforms to pick it up. I transferred locations almost one year ago now. I stopped in there to order a 1/2 cheese (for my daughter) and 1/2 pepperoni for myself... and she asked, " No jalapenos??" IT WAS ALMOST ONE YEAR! that right there warmed the heart for costumer service! This place is 100% family owned with great customer service is important to me. We had good food and the service there is really nice. Friendly people with live music which is really great that they support community music. If I had to find a critique it would be that the music was to loud. We had trouble talking to each other even while moving into a different room from the musicians.
