We had an item missing from our order, and Des was incredibly attentive about it, checking in with us and following up until everything was taken care of. She was genuinely a great server and made what could have been a frustrating situation completely painless. And of course, the food is always amazing! My favorites are the hot honey, burrata & sausage pizza and the house salad which is seriously one of the best salads I've had. The buffalo cauliflower is also delicious, although I wish the portion were a little bigger! Great service, great food, and a great location. Then I went to "Build Your Own" and priced a large thin-crust pepperoni pizza with a full order of Mojos. Total: $34.54. That's right. The "deal" saves you five cents. A nickel. Apparently, in 2026, five cents now qualifies as a promotion. Either nobody bothered to compare the regular pricing before posting the "deal," or Shakey's genuinely believes customers should get excited about saving enough money to almost buy nothing. I was looking forward to revisiting a childhood favorite. Instead, I got a reminder that not every "deal" is actually a deal.

I ordered The Buffalo Style Chicken pizza. My buffalo chicken pizza contains Mozzarella cheese, fresh onions, fresh green pepper, fresh tomato, and fresh chicken breast marinated in buffalo hot sauce. This pizza has a buffalo spicy sauce. It is great! It was hot enough that you wanted a drink nearby, but not so hot that you were in pain eating it. When I take a bite, it was the perfect amount of crispy for a crust. It is a thinner crust on this pizza. It is a bit crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Oh, the sauce. The sauce was spicy. It was the perfect heat for me. I'll admit it. I'm addicted to spicy foods. I like they cut the chicken up into small cubes. The chicken was tasty, but there was not a ton of it on the pizza. I would have liked a bit more on there. The seasoning was great and so was the cheese. I loved the buffalo hot sauce. The flavor might not be as powerful as other hot sauces, but this one is just perfect. Not too weak and not too strong. Just right! Thanks to Rocco's Pizza for using buffalo hot sauce when making my pizza. Recommended? Most Definitely! The restaurant was not at all crowded. The lady at the counter was courteous. This pizza was good enough to serve again. It was too hot for your small children, but enjoyed by the adults. I will probably buy this again. P.S. Stopped in to pick up pizza and salad for an easy meal for a weeknight. I ordered a small cheese pizza, a large pepperoni, mushroom and olive pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza was amazing!! The crust was not too think and not cracker thin, it was perfect! Cheese was perfect amount, toppings and sauce ratio were spot on. The salad was also a great surprise. For the low price, I figured it would be mostly lettuce, but I was sooo wrong. It was full of all the other ingredients that make a Greek salad Greek. The dressing was to die for. They even offered me a free six pack or two liter of soda with my large pizza order. I was really surprised since the total bill was under $40. What a great new find for my family.
