Great grocery store clean and neat. Always have what I need. Meat department is great and very helpful.

Produce, meat and seafood are fantastic! Regular grocery aisle is too expensive. I shop at two different stores and refuse to get my produce and proteins anywhere else. The staff are phenomenal, very kind and very willing to help. This is a great grocery store if you have the money to spend. It is one of the two most expensive grocery stores in Massachusetts, which is saying a lot, lol. But it's worth the trip. read more

My sister recently used and recommended Roche Brothers catering to me. Last week we found ourselves in need of some breakfast items for a post funeral gathering. The food arrived on time at 8:00 AM and we soon discovered there was a mixup between what we ordered and what was actually ordered. Shame on us for not noticing the staff member had entered the wrong item, bacon vs bacon cheddar tots, but our driver assured us the error would be corrected. We left for the funeral and returned at 10:00 AM to the correct item awaiting us on our front porch. Above and beyond service! We will definitely use your services again! Roche Bros is priced high but has good quality in Produce and Meats. Seafood seems to have declined a bit.

This is the grocery we stop in on our way to vacation in Marshfield. This store has everything. It's a bright and open feeling shopping experience. Lots of fresh produce, baked goods, a good size prepared foods section and cheeses, as well as wine and beers. Really a great spot to come get some goodies for a picnic. We did stop in while pandemic restrictions were in place and found staff and customers all wearing face coverings. There were wipes available for the carts and customers were very respectful about keeping the 6 foot social distance while shopping. Hand sanitizer was available on the way out. The prices may not be the least expensive, but the selection and quality are both here, the staff has always been very professional and helpful. read more

Love this place, it's my go-to supermarket in the Marshfield. Roche Bros offers a wide variety of products, a bakery, deli, hot food bar, salad bar, seafood bar, and floral department as well as many grocery aisles and produce. The store is very clean and there are many friendly employees to assist you. read more

Wow! We entered through the back entrance bypassing the floral department and I thought I had stepped into a food court! This store is so spacious, bright and clean. I was drawn to the multiple semi-circle salad bars and the gigantic muffins in the bakery section. They even have a station devoted soley to chicken wings....yesssss! The deli was very busy and there were at least five kinds of potato salad! Most of the meat is presliced so that the they can speed up the service. The maple ham we got was tasty, but the turkey was a bit dissapointing. The sandwiches they make are huge and loaded with cheese and only cost about $5. Some prices were a bit high ($8.49/lb. for chicken salad!!!), but overall I thought the quality of the food was worth it. Sure some tomatoes may be $4.99/lb., but they are next to ones that are $1.69/lb. I loved shopping here and we had a really friendly cashier who wanted to join us for lunch when she saw what we were buying. read more

We were looking for a supermarket in the Marshfield area to buy a few items as we were passing through, we saw Roche Brothers and stepped in. We're we ever surprised. The produce was fresh, the variety of store items was great and the employees were very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the young clerk who helped us find the sunflower seeds, our self help associate James and the Manager who bid us a good day as we left. We will be back. read more

Good Quality but expensive I buy small orders at Roche Bros. Their bakery dept is head and shoulders above the competitor supermarkets nearby for quality. It tastes like they bake with butter instead of Crisco. The muffins are way better than you'd expect from any supermarket. Prepared foods which are hot and ready to eat can be expensive, but the $5 dinners that you can take home and microwave are a great deal. The whole roasted chicken family dinners are better than KFC. The deli and seafood departments are small and pricey so I don't get much from them. The florist dept is huge, and might as well be an entirely different store. The meat dept is way high compared to Stop & Shop for the same cuts of meat. They do carry Bell & Evans chickens for that special roast chicken dinner. Check the circulars for the best deals. Prepare to be carded even if you're 60 years old if you buy wine or beer. read more

A bit pricey and sub par food quality, but in Marshfield you don't have many options. Shaws deli is almost 1/3 of the price, and absolutely nothing special. Absolutely disgusting. Also the service desk are those people who act way more tired than they actually are and complain to me about working there. One of the employees wouldn't stop talking about game of thrones. This I found very offensive as I haven't finished the books yet and he just kept spoiling me! Because of this incident, I gotta give it a 1/5. read more

Roche Bros is between 3-4 stars...I couldn't decide so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went with 4. My whole family was very excited when they opened up in Marshfield. Basically, here's the rundown of Roche Brothers: *Nice quality produce, although at such high prices, pick and choose what they have the best of and get the rest elsewhere. They have the best selection of broccoli I've seen and their lettuce is always good. Things like bananas, melons, cucumbers...they are definitely cheaper elsewhere. *Their deli is ok. We don't buy deli meat for sandwiches but we do really like their potato salad. The best supermarket one around for sure.You can tell when someone hasn't been in Rochies before because they are looking for Boars Head at the deli...no BH meat there. They have a good selection of cheeses and dips and the buffalo chicken cheese dip is a favorite in our house for fresh veggies and tortillas. *The meat counter is great and they have the best steaks/burgers to choose from and are of great quality. We are fans of the strip steaks, pub burgers and marinated steak tips. Their stuff is very pricey here so beware to get to the register and easily drop 50 bucks for burgers and steak. *Bakery is awesome. Delicious,fresh assorted muffins, pastries and breads. The counter at the bakery is loaded with fresh desserts. We stay away from this area as much as possible ; ) Those are really the main parts of the store worth mentioning. They aren't a big store and carry the basic stuff you'll need. If you're looking for some special item thats a specific flavor or kind, you may not find it here. Everything is pretty expensive so as I mentioned, choose wisely what to buy here. We stick to some produce and meats and thats about it simply because you can buy the same boxed/canned/bottled stuff at other places for way less $$. I like to think of RB as a specialty store and only buy certain, high quality items here. read more

It's well known that Roche Bros is a market known for its quality products and service. But to say that they went above and beyond for me is an understatement. Tamara and her crew at the florist department put together 12 beautiful tulip bouquets for me last minute. I was expecting simple grocery store tulip bunches, but upon picking them up they were wrapped with filler and bows! Beautiful! Tamara even called me when she thought of better options for my order. Although we have gone into Roche Bros. once in a while, during this pandemic, we started to use their curbside pickup service. The process itself is easy, if one is able to use a computer, but, every once in a while, either they or we make a mistake. A simple telephone call reaches the most accommodating and pleasant grocery staff one could wish for. They are consistently helpful. Probably a little more expensive than other stores (I'm told) but well worth it. Roche Bros., after all this is over, will still be our go-to for groceries. read more

Hands down best in the area. Really excellent grocery store.

This store is the closest to my home but my LAST choice of places to shop. While the store is clean and aesthetically pleasing, it's hard to find items the way the aisles are arranged. The prices are outrageously high, although when they put items on sale it is usually a good discount. BEWARE pre cut fruits and vegetables there are NOT fresh! I will no longer get purchase these items there. They also do not carry Boars Head cold cuts, which on my opinion are the best. However the butcher meats are good. I have had decent luck with some of the prepared foods, but I question how diligent they are about monitoring freshness given my multiple bad experiences with cut fruits and veggies. One redeeming quality is a beer and wine section. read more

Though I do not do my grocery shopping at this store, I did pop in for flowers the day before Easter. Hands down THE BEST place for cut flowers - variety and price! I was shocked at the selection, quality and prices. Usually, my choices consist of Whole Foods where the quality of flowers is hard to beat but the prices are high or Trader Joe's where the prices are reasonable and the selection is standard. I plan on recommending Roche Bros. because it's close to home and their floral department was gorgeous. I'm hard to impress and... I was impressed. Very clean, easy to find what you need, and there are employees everywhere to help you. I've never had to wait long in line. Even when its dead, they have plenty of registers open. Easy to get parking right by the door. Bakery and Deli department are excellent, meat department is very very helpful. Not a huge selection of important things whereas they have a big selection of the high-end hoighty toighty stuff. That's just it - it's pretentious. I live down the street, and prefer to go farther away. The prepared food is good, though. But it's expensive and there are very few deals/savings that make it worth my money and time. read more

Appearance wise this store is really big and very clean but the prices are expensive to say the least. Every once in a while you can find a deal but you really have to search the aisles to find them. They do have 99 cent bags of popcorn that the kids love so that gives them an extra star but that is not enough to offset the high prices. I think someone needs to tell them with all the apartment complexes built in Marshfield this town is no where near as wealthy as it used to be. read more

Overall this was a pleasant grocery shopping experience. Great produce department and lots of products to choose from. The only reason for the 4 star review was that they are extremely wasteful in terms of over-using plastic bags. One or two items in a single plastic bag??! Seriously?? Being from California, we are used to only using paper and bringing our own bags. Good store, awesome selection, and friendly and efficient customer service.
