Tried this Thai spot for the first time and I'm already thinking about my next visit. I had the Pad Thai and the skewers -- both were so good! The Pad Thai was exactly what I was hoping for: flavorful, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The sauce had that perfect mix of sweet, savory, and a little kick -- just the way I like it. The skewers were tender and juicy with that delicious grilled flavor. Dipping them in the sauce? Game changer. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and welcoming. You can tell they care about their food and their guests.

This place is a hidden gem! After the Thai restaurant close to our place raised prices and had their quality go down, we were looking for a new go-to Thai place, and we don't even mind driving 20 minutes to come here! The food is always delicious. The prices are so reasonable. The service is always friendly, too. Although the interior usually feels quiet, there's always someone dining in, and people are coming by all the time for pick-up orders. My favorite dish is the massaman curry with tofu. It's sweet and savory, and when I ask for it not to be spicy, it's not spicy at all. I have tried the red curry and the pad see ew - both of which were very good. I like the peanut sauce on the salad, which is fresh with mild flavor. I also usually have the tea, which comes in a cool teapot. Although I'm not normally a big fan of jasmine tea, I do really like theirs. I have come here with friends and with my husband, and everyone has loved it. There's always plenty of parking close by. I am so happy to have found this place!

Come with me to Rock A Bangkok, located in Kendall. My sister and I wanted to try something different for dinner, and we noticed Rock A Bangkok a while back since it is next to our go-to Indian restaurant. Small and charming with a homey feeling, you're greeted as soon as you walk in and shown where to sit. Their menu has a wide variety, and for the first time in a while, I went in "blind" without looking at the menu beforehand. We started with the Fried Wontons. They were perfectly crisp and nicely filled. We ordered a few dishes that caught our attention. They serve everything in a sharing style, with a lot of food. We went with the Chicken Fried Rice. At first, I thought the chicken looked interesting, but this is going on my list of the best-fried rice I've ever tried. The Fried Rice was flavorful, and the chicken had great texture. We also ordered Pad Thai with pork. This was my first time trying Pad Thai. It has a great flavor, and the texture is not as slimy as it looks. We also tried their dish called Three Karat, which is deep-fried chicken cooked in a tamarind red wine sauce; the chicken was very crispy and had good flavor, sweet and tangy. The Three Karat Chicken comes with white rice, which they are generous with the portion. For dessert, we had Thai Doughnuts. I've had these before, but theirs were excellent, thick and fluffy, and great for sharing (if you want to ). Overall, I loved Rock A Bangkok. I'm glad we tried something new and tried new dishes. The device was lovely and very kind. We will be back.

A hidden gem with great Thai food in Kendall. Came here with my partner as he was raving about this spot that he grew up with. You can find it situated in a strip plaza but going inside really transports you to a cozy atmosphere filled with cute Thai decor and friendly staff. It's on the intimate side with a good amount of seating. Everyone that was here seemed to be somewhat regulars and it wasn't terribly busy as we came when they opened on Sunday for lunch. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We got the Tom Kha Ga (my go-to at Thai restaurants now), a side of brown rice, the duck curry, and Thai tea. The duck curry is my partner's absolute favorite and it lived up to the hype. It was crispy and the curry was really good. It comes with rice that they serve to you and replenish if you'd like more. The Tom Kha soup was also good but definitely prefer the duck curry more. I'm curious to try more things off of their menu next visit. A great spot for Thai food in Kendall!

wow!! you rarely find gems like these and especially not easily, i was recommended by a friend and by the moment you walk in you get greeted by a very small, family-homey atmosphere. prices are very very reasonable for the delicious authentic food you will soon experience. we started with the 09 sampler which brought shrimp, dumplings, and wontons, as well as homemade fried chips. everything tastes so authentic and the owner was very nice and constantly checking in on us. i would definitely say this restaurant might be one of the best in miami, one of those places you almost want to hide and keep for yourself haha. i can guarantee everything you'll try on this menu will definitely rock your world, even the thai tea :3

The crispy duck Thai curry is busssinnnn (very good)! I been coming here for lunch for a while now and the staff is friendly and the service is quick! The decor inside is a bit old fashioned but that's what makes it feel authentic. They can seat about 20 people inside it's pretty small but it's never been too busy when I go for lunch and have always been seated immediately. Parking has never been an issue for me either. I recommend you try the crispy duck curry!

Cute lil find in Kendall (it is also located next door to urban Rrasoi an Indian restaurant that I like and have also done a review on as well). Its decorated very cute and is a mom and pop establishment, you really do feel like you are in someone's home. This establishment opened over 20 years ago by Thai immigrants. Service was sweet and friendly and personable. The prices are also reasonable. We tried three dishes and they all were very pleasant. We had the red Thai curry with chicken, which was our favourite dish. We tried their house specialty - which was an interesting chicken dish, and we enjoyed that too. We also tried another chicken, (I can' remember the name) it was also a good solid dish. I recommend and I will come again.

I came here to scratch a sushi itch and received a deep tissue massage…read more I must preface that I am a sushi snob. I have walked out of places that served fishy fish. Then there's the other end of the spectrum -- the kind of restaurant that reminds you why sushi can feel less like dinner and more like art, hospitality, and therapy in one sitting. Uchiko Miami sits firmly in that category. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese warmth. It feels refined without being cold, stylish without trying too hard, and intimate without feeling small. Every detail seems intentional. The food was exceptional, but what elevated the night was the experience around it. The fish was clean, precise, and beautifully handled. Every bite had that rare quality where you pause for a second because you don't want to rush past it. The flavors were layered, balanced, and surprising in the best way. The service was just as memorable. The staff were welcoming from the start, and my server turned the evening into something personal. I ordered what I came for, but kept being gifted thoughtful additions that made the meal feel curated rather than transactional. It is rare to feel both spoiled and completely at ease, but that is exactly what happened. Uchiko did not just satisfy a sushi craving. It reset the bar. This was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about when you can come back.

My wife and I arrived at 6:15 PM for happy hour, but our server didn't come to the table for about 10 minutes. When they finally arrived, we were told happy hour was over and we could not order any happy hour items. I spoke with the manager and explained that we had arrived before the cutoff and only missed it because nobody came to our table. While I understand having rules, I was surprised they wouldn't even honor a happy hour drink for my wife and me given the circumstances. The issue wasn't the discount--it was the lack of flexibility and customer service. After being told there was nothing they could do, we decided to leave. Still a great restaurant with excellent food, but this was a disappointing experience.

I could not…read morefollow that rule with Kuffo though...this restaurant is simply too good to not return again and again. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandma. How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in.
