Went to the rooftop for drinks and it was such a fun vibe! The music was great and there was a lot of seating which was really nice. I would definitely go again!

Cool place! Food was good and service was great! The atmosphere is nice featuring artists pictures and a cool vibe. We definitely visit again.

This place was so cool to see you finally. Our waiter Theodore was the most polite gentleman, and we were there early on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed delicious steak, tacos, margarita, pizza, and the giant pretzel. I would highly recommend to anybody traveling through Detroit area.

This is a new restaurant in royal oak. The food and service were great! I love the ambiance and live music. I would come back

I love Rock and I love Brews so I was pretty sure I would like it here and I did! There is so much to see everywhere! Even the bathrooms were covered in rock and roll memorabilia. We were here to see a band we are fans of so we spent most of our time upstairs. We stuck to beer and we ordered some southwest egg rolls. They were too spicy for my palate but they were still good. There were plenty of friendly servers and bartenders so getting drinks was never an issue. Their menu was pretty basic bar food. Nothing exciting. Their prices didn't seem outrageous either which is nice because everything is crazy expensive right now.

Visited Rock and Brews for a late lunch on Saturday where we experience excellent service, great food and drinks! Our server was super attentive, making sure we were happy with our food and had water. He did not rush us to order or to pay, which was nice! I wish I got his name to include it, he was really great! I enjoyed a delicious cocktail that was not too sweet and perfectly spicy (spicy watermelon margarita). I also really enjoyed the bbq chicken salad. There was a lot of chicken and the salad was huge! Our table enjoys the southwest egg rolls which came with 6 pieces, just enough for our party. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. The decor is super cool! Tons of rock posters and memorabilia around. Posters on the ceiling and drum kits on the walls. Tons of TVs to play all the sports. Will definitely go back, especially to check out the second floor for live music, and the rooftop once it's warm enough.

This is the former hopcat and former woody's. Basically, they painted the walls after hopcat and hung new stuff there and off the ceiling. They also cut back on the beer taps. Food was really good, staff were great. A little pricey, but they have a great happy hour. It is a music type theme, the staff wear concert style lanyards as nametags. The menus look like old timey record jackets, they made part of the barback look like concert speakers...

So I cannot comment on the food because my friends and I just went here for drinks before going to another location. However I can say the vibes were amazing, the difference in the floors was awesome and gave Nashville vibes. Finally the prices and service was great as well

Rock & Brew just opened up in Royal Oak and what a fun place! They kept restaurant downstairs, second floor is live music - big bar and a few tables to get food; third floor is a partially covered rooftop bar. Staff was super nice! I came to listen to the band, will need to come back for food. Loved the live music lounge - great decor! Tried big pretzel- perfect bar food.

Rock and Brews was the perfect place to get the night going in Royal Oak. The band was good and the drinks were super cheap. With good music and good drinks, what could go wrong? The location is perfect for exploring Royal Oak. The bartenders were nice, however, I did not order any food.

We've been to so many iterations of restaurants in this building, we felt that we had to try the latest. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit on the roof deck. Bena was our server and she was an absolute delight. Once we saw the giant pretzel on the menu, we knew we had to try it. We loved the presentation, but be warned, the word "giant" in the name is no joke. I followed that with the BBQ chicken salad, which was great. My wife is a pulled pork lover and she really enjoyed the version served here.

Surprisingly, we went for happy hour to check out the specials and just get a taste of the vibe. The staff was more than inviting, very friendly and very helpful. This place is awesome just to walk around and take a look at the way it was decorated. I've been through all of the transitions of this building and this by far is the best. From the rooftop to the first floor it is top notch. We ordered the sliders, and the beef that they use is fresh and delicious. They know how to make a slider for sure crispy edges not too much stuff on the bun just enough to enjoy and want more. The rooftop is it a great space, Jason was the bartender up there and he was outstanding. Introduced himself by name asked our names (rare these days by younger people), he was inviting an entertaining. He definitely made us want to come back sit upstairs and have a cocktail.

I had a little bit of time today so I stopped in to check out all the hype about Rock & Brews. It was such a fun vibe from the moment I walked in. I really enjoyed the decor and checking out all the fun stuff! I am happy to see how they renovated the space. The second floor will have live bands and the third floor will be for a DJ. The menus are great with an interesting cocktail menu and food. They even have a Happy Hour which I was excited to see. I had a coconut mojito and strawberry margarita...both delish! I also tried the HUGE pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The beer cheese had sautéed onions on top...OMG...so good! It was a fun afternoon watching March Madness and cheering on my KY Wildcats. #gocatsgo

We went for trivia and expected it to be the same as always, unfortunately it was not. They erased our points we've earned for a free glass, these are no longer honored. The menu has significantly changed: flights are $2-$3 more, no longer include flight bites, an upcharge for premium pours (which is understandable), no longer has a $5 bottle credit, and each glass is now $3-$5 more per pour. Why did you have to make every last item on the menu more expensive? I understand that the economy and inflation contribute to these things, but to increase the price and get less on everything throughout the menu plus not honor points earned for a free glass is a slap in the face. I'm just crushed at the blatant disrespect for the regulars that come every week for trivia or other events, no warning. Our trivia night just got a whole lot more expensive and we will be looking at other locations with more reasonably priced beverages and snacks. The bartender greeted me warmly. He was cool and I hate that I didn't ask his name. He was attentive and masterful with the spirits. He asked if it was my first time, which it was, and since so, made me a tasty "welcome" drink with gin that was fantastic. I also ordered "the panty snatcher" a concoction of vodka, grapefruit, St Germain, rose water and orange. It was amazing. I will definitely be back for drinks. The drink menu is quite tempting. I had the Corn, Corn, Corn dish, which is polenta and corn kernels topped with popcorn. Yes, super unique and interesting. I had to try it. The popcorn was so light and flavorful straight out of the kitchen, but became chewy as it sat atop the piping hot polenta. I really enjoyed it however. Next time I'll eat all the popcorn first. I also had lobster dumplings, which was good but the dish wasn't cooked through. The filling wasn't hot and the pasta was very under on some bites. I was the first customer for the evening, so I can forgive that faux pas. I really enjoyed myself and I will return time and time again to try everything. The menu offers many things I love.
