I returned to this business Saturday after not going for more than 6 months. Unfortunately as I was finishing my meal I saw a rat inside the establishment. Prior to capturing it on video I brought it to the attention of a staff member who in my estimation did not take the information serious enough for me. No manager came over nor did they offer to comp anything from my bill. Despite this I still paid my bill, left a tip, but will not return. I'm in F&B in New York City, and stumbled upon this cajun seafood restaurant while in Annapolis with my wife and kids. The staff were gracious and friendly. The food was abundant, and the spices were spot on. Glad that we could find this unique little gem in MD. It's hard to start a new restaurant, in any city, and they seem to be doing the right thing. We opted to take a table outdoors, and throughout the entire meal, people were coming up to us to ask how the food was, because it surely looked delicious. We'll surely be back! read more

This review is for the "Cajun" food, not the sushi. The shrimp po boy bears almost no resemblance to a Louisiana po boy. The tomatoes were grey, the filling mostly lettuce, with six shrimp and a Japanese spicy mayo drizzled on top. Don't go expecting a po boy. read more

Solidly 2.5 stars, but my husband suggested rounding up because his shrimp po' boy was pretty good. The crawfish po' boy was super disappointing, only five tails which were a little overcooked. I'm unlikely to go back, too many places that are better. read more

Just got lunch here. Ordered the build your own combo with snow crab and shrimp just to test the waters. I got rocking roll bomb sauce (which I'm pretty sure is all of their seasoning mixed into one) spicy. The combo came with corn potatoes and some andouille sausage along with the snow crab and shrimp. Everything was hot and cooked very well. Seasoning was delicious and the "spicy" level of spice was definitely hot but not overbearing. Overall really solid seafood and great flavors. Used to be better as "Sakura". Sushi had too much imitation crab. Sashimi had a weird texture. The white fish was slimy. Pineapple fried rice was to have chicken, pineapple, vegetables and Thai basil. It was a huge serving, but contained no veggies. When asked, we were told all they had was green onion...which I didn't find any evidence of. Miss my veggies!! read more

Friends and I stopped by here after a beach trip thinking it was a perfect place to dine at. The raw oysters we got were not fresh whatsoever and they reeked of a fishy stench. The sushi we ordered (California Roll & Volcano Roll) looked disappointing and the rice was soggy. As for the seafood boil it was extremely salty! We had to add so much lemon to our bags. I think two stars is pretty generous, but the staff was very friendly so they definitely should be noticed for that. The food was pretty abysmal and really expensive for what we got (oyster combo and shrimp combo). The food was soggy, the fries were tasteless (and the only side option offered). I'm gonna keep this to the point. -ordered through door dash and it said it would take an hour, fine -ordered chicken teriyaki with white rice from the hibachi section, something simple -my dasher got to the restaurant 10 minutes before the hour was supposed to be up, cool -the dasher waited an extra 30 minutes for my food to be finished, it's cool places are short staffed I understand - my food gets here and I'm wondering why my bag feels so light and i opened it and it was a sushi roll stuffed with tempora shrimp and topped with some sort of beef that wasn't cooked all the way -dashers cant go through your food to check the order -I couldn't even eat the sushi roll because I'm allergic to whatever is used in the rice and because of how the meat was cooked(I'm pregnant that's not safe) -the sushi was rolled beautifully but there nothing that I could do with it read more

We waited 45 minutes for our food. We were told It would take 15 minutes. We ordered steamed old bay crabs but got garlic butter w/ old bay. They were greasy, not steamed and tasteless. The customer service was awful. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. $46 for 1lb of snow crab and a side of calamari. This is tourist trap for sure. They would not give me a refund either. Ordered the pick your own boil. Got crawfish and king crab legs at Market Price. That was a huge mistake. My wife ordered shrimp and sausage. Her dinner was less than $20. My order however was almost $40! I could understand if they had generous portions but they are skimming on the amount of food they give you. I received 6 crawfish and 3 crab legs, 1 small ear of corn and 2 potatoes. Needless to say we won't be coming back. read more

Manager lies to me says they dont serve sushi cause they are different. I ordered through GrubHub for a pick up order about a Hr ago, I got there stood there waiting to be helped or greeted and the Server walked passed me around me 5 times . when he finally look at me he looked passed me and helped the couple behind me Sat them and continued to walk passed me . As I stopped and said out-loud are you Serious are you really serious right now you really going to help the couple behind me and ignore me. Me and my family visited Annapolis and we decided we wanted seafood. We came across this place. And to be honest we got more of an Asian restaurant vibe than a Cajun seafood restaurant. My boyfriend ordered fish and chips which he said were completely tasteless. I ordered the crab legs and shrimp seafood bag w/ old bay seasoning. It WASNT steamed, it seemed like it was fried in oil, butter, and garlic. Tasted nothing like old bay and the garlic overpowered Tye seafood completely. It was so salty and oily i couldn't even finish eating the crab i left an entire cluster and a half and my boyfriend still tipped them. He's a good guy! Cuz i wouldn't have. We waited more than an hour for our food and when we asked the woman how much longer until it was ready her response was "oh you haven't gotten your food yet" i mean seriously, she was out there the whole time. And on top of that tons of people came in to pick up orders and they hadn't even started cooking them yet. Had i known they weren't even cooking our food that entire hour we were waiting i would have just left. I will NEVER eat there again.
