    Classic lobster roll

Mason's is a casual and comfortable eatery with both table seating and a bar by the window. You order at the counter and can request either dine-in or take-out. Counter service was fine. In addition to the lobster rolls there's several sides available. Complementary self-serve water is available. I like that the restaurant staff carefully prepares your order, not just slapping things together, even though that takes a bit of time. I ordered the Classical Lobster Roll. It was perfection and so delish. Served in a tasty lightly toasted and buttered bun. The hefty lobster serving comes with a dash of mayo. I'll be back again and again for Mason's lobster rolls. Love 'em!

It's so expensive that they have to weigh your roll. Yes, it was delicious but it was probably the salt. That includes the lobster roll and the lobster bisque. Service was fine, but they forgot my lemons..

A great find! Definitely coming back when I go to Annapolis! [Food] Lobster rolls were super fresh on perfectly toasted buns and the right amount of sauce/seasoning Lobster bisque tasted great Clam chowder was closer to lukewarm than I'd like but still really good [Service] Fast, friendly Street parking with meters all around Plenty of tables open

Totally worth a stop here. The ladies friendliness was appreciated especially since this was our first visit. One lobster roll might not be enough though. Cold case of drinks, but a beer would have been great with it.

Im not typically a lobster roll person, but as a foodie, I love trying great food. When I saw this spot on my IG feed, I knew I had to give it a shot. Parking was a bit tricky, and the lobster roll was on the pricier side, but for fast food, it was surprisingly good. Definitely worth the drive and the parking hassle.

The Classic lobster roll was delicious! Lobster meat was very fresh. The bun was lightly toasted to perfection. The small bit of seasoning assured that the lobster tasted like fresh lobster and was not covered by sauce. I was the only one at the restaurant on a Thursday morning. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area! Clean restaurant. Service was quick, got my roll in about five minutes.

Stopped in here while on a stroll through town on our way to the waterfront. Street parking is hit or miss depending on timing of visit and is metered paid parking. Restaurant is located on the street level near the front of the large building, which contains multiple shops. Lobster roll preparation is done in front of the patrons in quick fashion and is hot and delicious. Loaded with claw and chunk lobster meat on a soft split bun. It was near the end of the business day, so the place appeared a bit unkempt and trash cans were full. Will assume they had been slammed with earlier business and just had not had time to deal with all of it. Would return if ever in the area. Good value.

Was too hungry, ate too fast, and felt ill. But it was delicious anyhow. The place to small and has uncomfortable seating. Service was mediocre. Clam chowder had no clam!

Is it worth $20? No. But if you have a hankering it's not bad. Needs salt.

You come in here knowing you are going to overpay for a small amount of food and then be hit by the auto tip calculated with 22% as the lowest option for counter service unskilled labor. LOL! Please stop with this 22/25/30% tip choices already. How about $1 an item cuz you are only sticking it in the reheater and spooning me out bland soup with no meat in it? Okay, the lobster roll was fine. I got the Connecticut. I know lobster rolls are overpriced and small so it met expectations. Meat was bland. Expected it to be sweeter. I added salt which helped. Lobster bisque was a big disappointment. In the pictures of the cups and bowls they at least put some meat on top. This had no discernible meat in it. Just buttery cream with some paprika added for color and teeny tiny shreds of some type of meat. Really not worth the price even as a $3 add-on to your meal. You are just drinking hot cream with butter. They also offer a Maine option for $25 which adds lobster tail on top. I love shellfish and lobster but won't return. For $25 you can get a great LOCAL CRAB CAKE platter at a dozen places in town, one of the best being right across the street at Chick & Ruth. Spend your money on something unique to this town. BUT if lobster rolls are your thing... get one. I'm sure it's pretty authentic to what you're looking for. Next to this is a vacant ice cream store... I wish someone would open a seafood market there selling local fresh seafood and fish sandwiches. That'd do great! And it would compliment Mason's.

2nd best Lobster Roll I've had yet! Gotta give it up to the Roll I had in Maine. This however was a very good experience. Clean and welcoming service. Location is fun, and inside of restaurant serves it's purpose. Got some chowder too, also good. I'd definitely go back!

Underwhelming. Connecticut just tasted like butter and soggy lobster. Lobster bisque was not it. Would go somewhere else to spend the money.

Girls' day turned girl evening and rightfully so. Netflix and chill with a house full of ladies…read more When the stomach started to growl it was easy for the token private chef friend to make the easiest and best recommendation. Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with. Full On Craft Eats Annapolis, not to be confused with Rockville, is an experience you will want to repeat again and again. Good food fast that travels well (yes that is a thing). A great addition to any table worth gathering at. I did it twice in one day!!

Stopped by Sammy's Deli while taking in the weather in downtown Annapolis-my little loves coming…read morehere to dine, get ice cream and just walk the area-she says it's her favorite place and always tells people how it's the capital of MD, lol. So we walk in Sammy's and my husband and I are impressed by the pickles and hot sauce varieties. We didn't plan to order food, yet as a foodie I love specialty shops and always patronize them. This one was no different, although I regret doing so. At first the woman (who I imagine is the owner) seemed personable she asked all the customers to let her know if they needed help and she was smiling and all, but for whatever reason that changed after we got to the register to pay. She then became very condescending, rude and uptight. She asked a multitude of questions like for instance she asked what brings us to Annapolis. I told her we always visit and she says well you picked a busy day to come, like I made a poor choice in visiting or something, like we shouldn't be there. I thought to myself, um, did you not here me, I always come to the area, therefore I know it's busy, ALL THE TIME..it's been that way since forever in Annapolis. Then she just kept going on about our purchase saying we made good choices..like she literally said "oh you made good choices..you made good choices. Her tone sounded to me as if she was surprised that our pallet was sophisticated enough to get truffle chips and hot sauce and garlic dill pickles; like give me a break. She then asks my husband if he likes cheese. He says no but my wife does, she is the cheese expert. She didn't say another word, she did not crack a smile nor engage me in any way after he said that. As a store owner that would have been the perfect opportunity to sell me on cheese or whatever it was that you thought you needed to ask him that for. Finally even after all this, I asked her if she had a tip jar because I was going to tip my change (approximately $3.xx). She said no, I don't take tips, I just want you to go home and enjoy your purchase-as if she was too good or prideful to take MY money and wanted us to leave the store. I guess black families who love on each other and their children, who travel an hr away from home to visit downtown Annapolis are foreign to her and/or rub her the wrong way. And wouldn't you know as I am leaving I saw a tip bucket on the counter. Go figure. My husband and I discussed our visit and he informed me that while I was off doing another final lap of the store she had asked him if he was hungry and he said no...so maybe that's why she was mad-that we didn't get her food. He said she had a look as if to say then what are you doing here. Terrible. And I know from reading this it seems like she asked basic questions, but it is one of those you had to be there conversations; her tone, lack of eye contact and all made for a very uncomfortable experience. One thing is for certain, I will never patronize this store again and for anyone reading this and the other reviews, believe the ones that say these people are mean and rude because they certainly are.
