The other place informed me that Safelite's quote does NOT include a disposal fee for the old windshield. They add that on at the end, when the work is done. Also, their AI system is ridiculously roundabout and a waste of time. In addition, you get multiple calls reminding you of your appointment -- worse than the dentist office!!! Got a legit quote from a local shop, and am going to get it done there.

You're not going to a business, you're going to a mans shop, at his home. The first to greet you are 2 wonderful dogs that show you where to park! Left my truck at 11am and it was done at 3pm. I was given an option of 3 different types of glass ranging in prices. This is a friendly, customer service driven business and it's appreciated at a time where everyone is using the Covid excuse for being lazy, late or not answering calls! Out here most people know each other and word of mouth leads to sales, this guy knows that and does a outstanding job without having to drive 45 miles to the city.
