At the start of the race, the bucket is flipped upside down in the center of several concentric circles of chalk marked on the floor. The goal is for a patron's crab to be the first one to cross the line of the yellow circle. There are an assortment of prizes such as excursions or coupons for local establishments to be won.The event lasted about 45 minutes and was fun. We were warmly greeted, received a welcome beer, and was taken to where the beer is brewed.
