Do not hire a contractor that uses this company. Your job cost will increase exponentially. Oh not to mention, return something? Restocking fee for small items, not lumber.

Disappointing and misleading sales process…read more I contacted this company to get quartz countertops for my home. Before providing me with a complete quote, I was told I needed to purchase two slabs before they would even come to my home to take measurements. I specifically asked how much the installation would cost, but my question was never answered. Instead, I was asked to move forward with purchasing the slabs first. After the measurements were finally taken, I received an estimate that was well over my budget. Since I had never been given a complete price beforehand, I asked for a refund on the slab purchase. I was then told that the payment was non-refundable. I believe customers should receive a clear and complete estimate--including installation costs--before being asked to make a significant, non-refundable purchase. Had I known the total project cost in advance, I would not have proceeded. I was an unsuspected customer who thought I was dealing with an honest contractor!! Instead he avoided the question and told me he only comes to do measurements if I make a purchase but didn't know about the 'nonrefundable' part. He didn't say anything about this. I hope the company becomes more transparent about pricing and refund policies so future customers can make informed decisions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with this company. Requiring a customer to purchase slabs before providing a complete project estimate, including installation costs, did not feel transparent. I believe customers should receive the full project cost and understand any non-refundable policies before making a purchase.

We decided to replace our kitchen and bathroom counters with stone. We selected AJ Marble & Granite…read moreand met with Andrea at his showroom. The selection was extensive. The slabs were set on their sides making viewing easier. Andrea answered questions such as pros and cons of various kinds of stone, price per slab and how long a job should typically take. We selected a granite, styled as " leather", with an off white background showing many other trace colores and inclusions. Once that selection was made, Andrea arranged for a site visit resulting in complete plans used to cut the stone. Andrea's installer, Lorenzo, began removing the old counters, plumbing and installing plywood to support the added weight. He then began installing all the stone. He also installed all the sinks, faucets as well as electrical and plumbing hookups. This all was a big job and done with remarkable craftsmanship and care. The result is stunning! So much so that the drawers and cabinets doors looked sad in comparison. We worked with Lorenzo to design a solution, and what he came up with was spectacular. Lorenzo is amazing! Bottom line is that Andrea and Lorenzo make a great team. We are most pleased with the result!

Besides my positive experience, the store seems to have just about everything from grills, too fishing gear amongst other things that you would carry an Ace Hardware store. Last week my wife and I found out that our bed was broken.... I wish there was a good story, but…read morethere's not. Simply put, the cross supports were in the wrong spots and the plastic frame for our Sleepnumber bed had lost its integrity. What are we going to do. First, Sleepnumber was amazing, as they replaced the defective pieces at no charge and they shipped them to us for....wait for it....no charge. So, we had the replacement parts, now I sought out to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Heck, when you weigh what I do, you do need support. So, I decide more of the wood cross supports are needed. Meeks is the local purveyor of all things wood and the customer service there was incredible. You see, I'm a novice and I need help. I took the measurements, told the salesman what I needed, and they simply did the rest, and, mind you, this all took place on a Saturday morning, a morning I would suspect is a busy morning, filled with novices like me. Did I mention the custom cuts? As I mentioned, I showed up with the dimensions and they made sure that I left with the exact sizes that I needed. The yard guys took care of that. So, I leave happy, my wife and I piece together the new frame, and once again we slept in air supported bliss last night. Meeks had great customer service, and, in this era, it just seems so few really understand and make the effort to take care of the customer. Nice job Meeks.

We did have a gal ask us if we had any questions. Now I'm deciding on getting new bathroom counter tops to my kitchen, so more decisions to be made. I've been wanting new countertops for a while, but had to prioritize with the backyard and the interior of the house. Very impressed with the pricing and choices available.. Of course the ones I liked had a sold sign! Now off to find a fabricator.
