Ordered takeout for four and everything we had was very good. Ordered an appetizer combo and extra potstickers. My wife and I shared a hibachi combo with fried rice, veggies and miso soup. Ordered some California rolls, tempura rolls, spicy tuna rolls. And Tuna tataki. The sushi and sashimi was excellent and the cooked items were properly cooked. March 1, 2026: I rarely leave scathing reviews, but this is by far the WORST sushi I've ever had in my life. That's grocery store sushi included. The servers greeted me pretty quickly, but I didn't see much of them after that until I had to flag them down for the various issues with my food. I'm praying I don't get food poisoning just bc it left my mouth feeling a bit slimey I only ate about 3 bites total but was told they could only take one roll off. I had high hopes for this place. I love the one in Murfreesboro, so I figured my boyfriend and I would love this one too. When we got there, we were told we could sit anywhere. All the booths had dirty tables and they weren't even that busy. When we got our food, we didn't get chopsticks, napkins, or the little tray to put soy sauce in. Then, it took the waitress forever to bring our check to us because apparently she had charged us twice for everything. Food was great, service not so much. read more

The highlight though was when I asked for their "Tokyo Three Way" which is flight of house sakes. We were told, we don't have what we need to make that. Let's do this again! I wanted to try a new place for me and I chose RNR sushi. The actual setup is pretty chill which I like because I just wanted to enjoy my food. I ordered chicken fried rice, which comes with a choice of soup or ginger salad. I chose the salad and I won't lie to you it was the best ginger salad I have ever had. My server recommended I have onions cooked with my chicken and she was right. It made the chicken pop even more. My only negative is that it was a little too much sauce for me in my fried rice. I'll start by saying I could just be a bit on edge before coming in here but I'll say. I walked in a was truly blown away I love the aesthetic. I loved the music playing it was nice. As I took it in a host(?) came up and just looked at me like I was crazy and I was a bit confused and he said "What do you want? To go, a table? How many?" It was just me and the restaurant was DEAD there was one other guest seated and he rushed me to a seat. I chose the bar, unfortunately the bartender was new(I'm assuming) I ordered a Mule with Tito's and the host(?) came to help her make it. It wasn't very good so I didn't bother to finish it. I ordered the appetizer sampler and a volcano roll. The sampler was pretty good, the volcano roll sounded like something I had before that I loved but it was a very big and very dry disappointment. The bartender was friendly and checked on me quite a bit. But I left with half of my food untouched and my drink unfinished. It just wasn't very good but the decorations were awesome! read more

This place totally hits the top of the charts. The food, atmosphere, and service is unique, fun and family friendly! From start to finish service was spaced out nice. Walking in we were greeted quickly and sat.Within seconds our waitress Destiny came up to welcome us like vips! Her friendly and bubbly personality made her shine. We usually eat at the Murfreesboro location and while we were shopping in Smyrna we saw there was a Rock n Roll here in town so me and my girlfriend decided to stop in and try it out. The only server that was working was on top of everything, she was extremely nice and very quick to bring out our food, her name was Jamie and she deserves employee of the month! She handled being the only one there like a boss even tho she had several tables at once she never got overwhelmed. So far the best sushi I've had in Smyrna. It is a tad dry so just ask for extra sauce ! The fried rice is to die for. The Hibachi is good, the filet isn't that great. I love sushi and I love rock and roll, just not together necessarily. Odd concept. At least it's not rap and country cooking. Our server was friendly, and attentive. Service was prompt. Unfortunately the food is really bad. The sushi rice wasn't cooked properly. The texture was all off, and was not seasoned at all. The fried rice from the hibachi was also very bland and the wrong texture. At a sushi restaurant rice is 50% of the meal. But if you can't even get that right then that's a recipe for disaster. The only nice thing is the theme and decor of the restaurant but that's all I can give. Just go to the Tokyo sushi not too far from there instead. read more
