Our server was so funny, we couldn't tell she was new (today was her 2nd day) and she got fumbled whenever I started to order for my daughter and myself. She did say sorry a bunch and we kept telling her she's doing great, and we just didn't know because of how on top of it she was whenever we got seated. The place has a really nice vibe to it. The food was alright, pricey especially since I don't like committing to an entire 6-8 pieces of a sushi roll if I don't know if I'm going to like it. But I ordered the chicken hibachi with white rice & my daughter ordered ebi sashimi, and salmon sashimi and a side of rice. I was pretty disappointed that the ebi only came out with 3 pieces whenever it says 4 pieces are given. But didn't want to make a fuss. This was some of the worst sushi I have ever tried to eat. To start the roll was WAY too big, but if it had been good I could have managed it, but it was just rice around a piece of pop corn shrimp. I love Shrimp Tempouri rolls, but this one was not good at all. The beer selection was poor, the prices were very high and the service was poor. I would not return even for a free meal. read more

Stopped in for lunch and was excited to finally try this place since I drive by often. We placed our order but ended up leaving shortly after. What really turned us off was seeing a child sitting on the food prep table in the kitchen, with the sushi meat directly behind them. While we completely understand employees having their kids at work--we had two with us--it felt very unhygienic to see a child's bottom where food is being prepared. This isn't a home environment where that might slide; in a restaurant, food safety should be the priority. When we got up and told the waitress we were leaving, we explained the situation. She asked us not to go because they wanted to talk with us about it and mentioned their company policy. However, by that point, we were already too uncomfortable to stay. If this is what happens in view of customers, it raises real concerns about what may go on behind the scenes. read more

Loved the themed decor throughout the restaurant with red pleathered ostrich print seating to alligator wallpaper. Neon lighting and microphone hanging lights over the bar seating area. The menus are old album covers which I thought was cleaver and music videos playing on multiple screens. The staff is super friendly and efficient when serving customers. The food is beautifully plated and very appetizing. I had the Crowd Surfer Roll this time and was not disappointed. Jalapeño sliced on top of spicy tuna with shrimp tempura with spicy mayo, sweet chili, eel sauce and crunchy flakes. I also had a Flaming Filet bowl with mixed veggies, fried rice and perfectly cooked fillet. The Flam n Filet bowl is a nice lunch portion size but in my opinion was a little bland even though the filet was perfectly cooked. Just a better ginger dipping sauce was needed but if you like yum yum sauce this is it. The ginger side salad tasted more like yum yum salad. If you gathered, I'm not a yum yum sauce fan but still nice portions and I'll bring my own ginger dressing next time and there will be many more next times. You're really better off with getting a grocery store bought sushi for half the price. I don't know why I keep convincing myself to keep trying with them. It just never works. The first time we came here, we dined in. As soon as I saw the automated rice shaper in their kitchen, I knew we were in the wrong place. It was such a turn off. The second time was a to-go order. My sushi was rolled so poorly that you couldn't pick it up without falling apart. The rice was also undercooked. If you're looking for traditional sushi, I recommend going somewhere else. read more

This location was pretty OK. I figured it would be a little loud inside, so not a huge deal, but it was hard to hear the servers. Pretty cool concept, neat idea to have menus in old album covers. The food was pretty good. Didn't knock blow me away, but it was good for where I was. Had the Punk Rock and Crowd Surfer rolls. PR was alright, but the flavor didn't jump out at me. CS was the better of the two with layers of flavor. I'll probably go back again someday when I'm in the area. Really nice place. The staff was all so nice from the waitress to the bar tender and cooks. The food was so good and truly the BEST hibachi chicken I've had in Houston county- the chicken wasn't dry and it was full of flavor. I loved the spicy shrimp roll it was everything I wanted and the sampler was perfect for the undecided, it comes with more than what's in the picture we started eating before the pic. Just ate here....very disappointed! Ordered the Rainbow Roll ($14.99) which was delicious! However, my daughter ordered Yellowtail and Tuna Sashimi ($21.00). She received 4 pieces each which were paper thin. When asked if I was happy with the meal, I stated I wasn't happy with how thin the sashimi was. The owner said that the cut of sashimi was the same as in the rainbow roll. Don't order the sashimi--not worth the cost. Since I had a coupon for free wontons, I was not offered any type of compensation. Not a happy customer. I will not be a repeat customer! read more

We ordered an appetizer and was only given one plate for two. When we placed our order, we told our waitress that we were going to share an entree and she did not bring an extra plate. So we asked for a second plate and she chose to clear a table before bringing the second plate. When our food was served, it was barely warm so by the time she cleared the table and brought the extra plate, our food wasn't even room temperature; yum, cold hibachi!. As I do love sushi, I finally went to this chattered-up chain, it was recommended by family who just tried sushi for the first time. I love a good drink with my food, so I ordered the Leopard Print Bikini, and Adam (my spouse) ordered the Weekend Amnesia. For a chain, Rock N' Roll sushi makes amazing alcoholic beverages! Not too sweet, and just the right amount of fruity flavor to make it something special. 5/5 My only qualm is that if you eat a lot of sushi the way I do, you will not be impressed with the variety of the menu. Literally everything on the menu had chili sauce, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. There's not a lot of variety for fish unless you like smoked salmon and shrimp, and at that point I'm frankly bored and want to go somewhere else. Also, it was EXPENSIVE. Some of the rolls are 13-15$ for a 6 count, where for that price I could get a 12 count at my local Thai/Japanese restaurant. 1.5/5 Overall, I give Rock N' Roll a 3/5. Our server single-handedly added a star because she was awesome! She was super helpful with the menu and very inviting towards someone who has never been there before. I cannot say that I would go again, however, this is the perfect place for someone who is shy about seafood, or has never eaten sushi before. If you haven't had raw fish before, try it! Ordered take out while staying overnight in an AirBnb. Food was great. Got the spicy shrimp roll, the Crowd Surfer Roll, and teriyaki chicken. (I shared with my 5 year old who I would say is a teriyaki chicken connoisseur). The chicken was on point. The rolls my favorite was the spicy chicken, although the crowd surfer was close behind.
