My mom and I went and got a tattoo from this place. The people were nice but I completely unsatisfied with the tattoo I got.. it was something small and the heart looks like it was done by a child in kindergarten. I would not recommend this tattoo shop to anyone.

Went in for their Black Friday special. Really chill atmosphere. Decor was dope! My artist was Celest and she knocked out a couple bangers for me! Did them with love, took her time to get the in that solid black, I'm super happy with them. And being new to Vegas, was awesome to chat during the tattoos and make a new friend! Their portfolios are awesome and i recommend if you want to get a tattoo in a place with cool and friendly vibes.

Had a horrible experience. When you first walk in the owner (jerry) asks you to sanitize your hands. Which I understand as its a tattoo shop. Not even 3 minutes later, my wife and I witness (jerry) literally spitting into his hands to turn the pages in the portfolio book that EVERYONE touches. Disgusting. Dont recommend this place. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner here is a jerk, i went for the $20 tattoo event but I had an issue with my tattoo looking a little shaky which was fixed by a different artist but before it was fixed the owner came out and said the placement of the tattoo was not included on the $20 deal kinda making it seem like "oh well it was only $20". Tattoo sucks is missing so many lines and they've refused to fix it the owner talks to you like your garbage if you try to confront him about it Jerry the owners response to my original review is proof enough that he is a liar and their we had numerous conversations about how he could make this poor pathetic "art" worth the $500 I paid and he came up with every excuse he could first saying it was from healing and sending me home. Then when I came back a few weeks later telling me it was outside of the time frame for him to do anything. This is the worst business I've ever encountered. I should've known when the artist put a paper towel and masking tape around the entire fresh tattoo instead of something hygienic and legitimate! Just because he doesn't remember every customer he's ripped off doesn't mean he didn't do it! RUN!!!! As shown in the messages which Jerry clearly didn't read the timeline for touch ups was asked numerous times and he refused to provide it even attempting that touch ups were needed now he claims the tattoo has nothing wrong with it LIAR AND THEIF read more

Saw their special on Facebook for 2/$60 on some smaller tattoos, so my friends and I went in to check them out. Nice staff, cool atmosphere, good selection of flash both for the special and if you just want to create your own design. We all got different artists; I got Jacob. Nice guy, friendly and personable. Patient with placement and layout (had a good idea for one of mine, too, which I appreciated.). He's relatively new to tattooing, but confident and did good work. I'm happy with what he did and would recommend him. Fun little side adventure while we were in town! read more

I literally have attached screenshots of my messages including pictures directly from their post but the owner wants to say I'm making up a fish tale so that's cool. Clearly can't take criticism or see proof when it's right in front of you. Literally posted the messages of communication so not sure how you can refute those? But no worries! I'm very glad I didn't end up getting tattooed here. Blessing in disguise. My regular guy is doing it I have an appointment next weekend. I can't wait for my house and he's even adding the quote from the movie so that's going to be great. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Moderation is great, but without integrity, the review system breaks down.

So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

First of all, this man's studio looked like a storage unit that lost a custody battle. The "vibe" was somewhere between abandoned dentist office and haunted vape shop. There was a single folding chair that sounded like it was begging for mercy every time I breathed. Now let's talk about the tattoo. I actually had to take a lap around the studio because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S ON MY BODY FOREVER AND IT'S PERFECT??? The lines are so clean they look AI-generated. The shading? So smooth it feels illegal. The placement? Spiritual. Cosmically aligned. If I stand at the right angle I'm pretty sure it unlocks inner peace. I keep catching myself staring at it like it's a new pet. I have shown it to strangers. I have adjusted my outfits to make sure it's visible. I moisturize it like it's royalty. If it asked me for rent, I would pay it. The pain? Worth it. The adrenaline? Elite. The emotional attachment? Concerning. This tattoo has changed my personality. I now say things like "yeah, my artist..." as if I've been part of an underground art collective for years. I have zero chill about it. If you make eye contact with me for longer than two seconds, I will show you. Five stars for talent. Five stars for making me question reality. I walked in mildly nervous and walked out feeling like I had just been branded by a mysterious but benevolent art deity. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I understand him any better? Probably not. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to say I'm incredibly happy with my tattoo. Zack did amazing. I'm definitely not new to tattooing and dude was pretty patient and laid back, just an overall good artist. The work is super clean too. I was surprised to hear how long he'd been doin this. If it weren't for my experience with him I'd probably give the shop a 2. 3 if I was being nice. This rating is definitely for the artist, and the artist alone. Shop is clean, most the artist are cool, but Jerry was too much. Pushy, doesn't have any social q's, and obviously plays favorites. From the looks of some of these reviews he obviously can't take any kind of constructive criticism and that's just a red flag in general. It was also really disappointing when I went to the businesses social media pages. Majority of the work shown is the same girl who acted like she ran the shop. There are several artist in there, but no one else's work gets posted? There's no link to the artist pages... nothing. I was really excited to show some friends more of this dudes work, but like I said there were few other artist with work shown. The way he has them set up in there seems rude almost. Dude definitely doesn't respect his artist. Thanks for the clean work though zack, you definitely stand out there. All in a good way. I wish I could give this place NO STARS! I will never go back to this place and I'm fucking blessed I DID NOT GET TATTOOED by anyone there! The way the shop is ran is just astounding, every 5 mins a tattoo artist went for a smoke break and then would talk shit about who they are tattooing in there. Sorry not really good for a business but hey I wouldn't know.. the "20" event was a laughable joke because only a few were 20 some went all the way up to 100 haha! So why do a $20 event??? waited in line for 9+ hours to end up not getting a damn tattoo because for some reason the ones I wanted which were small and simple was $60-$80 seriously? Even tho one did say in the book that it was $40 so I said that's fine I'll get that one oh no! Comes up to me your looking at $80 for that one....!?!? If I would've know the prices first I wouldn't have wasted my whole god damn night at that stupid event. Maybe they can learn for this train wreck and try to do a better event in the future (one I still will not attend ever) this place is a joke, ran so fucking poorly, artist take breaks every 5 mins ( I'm not joking ) then one of them would tattoo somebody go outside and would talk shit about the person he is tattooing to the security guard. I came here in 2010 to get a turtle tattoo and they did such a great job that even NOW (2 1/2 years later) people think it's a sticker! The details were intricately placed and the artists were so friendly. Especially Greg and Jerry, they made me feel at home and treated me with such respect- I came back again for a larger tattoo of a treble clef with music notes and other little details on it. Not only are they talented, they are also incredibly genuine about their work. Jerry talked to me the whole time (and I talk a lot lol) and made me feel very comfortable. As far as the tattooing itself, they have very gentle hands so the color stays and there is not much bleeding at all. As a matter of fact, I was impressed at how concerned with my comfort they were! They were very sanitary, their entire shop was spotless and I was thoroughly satisfied with how they treated me. Awesome people, great prices and impeccable talent. I went in on 2-24-21 I had an appointment with Jess at 4pm... When I arrived at the shop Jess and cristal greeted me and they both were very welcoming.... I absolutely love my tattoo. Jess did my tattoo and she is an awesome artist and very talented. I enjoyed getting tattooed by her... Everyone made me feel very welcome and made me feel like family they all checked on me I was there for six hours getting my tattoo and Jerry the owner was very polite and nice as they all were I recommend if you're looking for a tattoo to go in because this shop is amazing they have some really great artists there... DO NOT GO HERE! The owner of this place is a real money hungry jerk. He doesn't know how to host a good tattoo event. He offered flash online and let everyone think that they were $20, then after waiting outside for hours, you show him what you want and suddenly it's twice the price. He offered one of the tattoos that I didn't even want for $20 as long as I left a 5star review on Google. When I went, I ended up being skipped over several times for customers that wanted large $100+ tattoos over my $20 event tattoos and then he didn't even give me an artist, they have me an apprentice, most shops don't even charge for apprentice work. I am ashamed to say that I gave them money for what they did to me. I left feeling ashamed, scammed and dirty. Don't go here. I'm going to have to go somewhere else to get my tattoos fixed because this place is only a bunch of dirty scamming jerks read more

Jerry from Rock n Roll Tattoo was a great experiance for me..I had a really bad tattoo.. He made me feel comfortable and said that he'd try to do what he could for me... to my amazement .... Went in for a tattoo last minute with my best friend and the shop was very accommodating. Cody was awesome and my friend and I got some really great tattoos. The only reason for the one star and this is something I have experienced with other artists as well, is the outline of the stencil and the actual needle being used being two different sizes. So what appears to be a lovely little tattoo with thin lines ends up as a fat, dark tattoo with blocky lines. I still love my tattoo but I had expressed thin lines and instead got fat ones. This isn't the first time I have experienced this and maybe it depends on the artist and how hard they press? Not sure. Just had to explain my lack of 5 total stars. I was in on Sept. 26th 2020 to get a cover up tattoo with Daniel. As always the staff is very kind. I had sent Daniel a photo of my tattoo to cover and he did a great drawing to cover the existing ink. They made me feel comfortable during my 3 hour appointment and made sure that I was okay during the entire process. I was excited to see the finished product and Daniel did not disappoint he is a very nice guy and does excellent work and strives to give you what you want. Im still regretting the piece.. when the line work healed on my tattooo literally the lines where faded and bad, the person who tattooed me messed up on following simple lines. i ended up getting shading from a diff artist and the artist took hrs to do half asss shading cause he was too busy fixing the first artists mistakes. If you do decide to get a tattoo from this place If anyone go to Alex Brownbear. hes the only one I would actually trust because he does tattoos on a bunch of people I know & the work is great. read more

Jerry did a wonderful job, as always. Everything was clean and sterile. He free handed a "little something special" onto the cross being done to make it more antique looking. He also drew up some other ideas for me that I will have him do the next time I am in town. Great job and very fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Old School Jerry and his staff are very professional. I have done several sittings with Jerry as my artist. He looks for extra detail and does great work. I recomend this place to anyone looking to get work done. When getting a tattoo price should never be a factor, only the quality of the work. However, when the session was complete, he told us the cost was actually $150 per tattoo. Considering the tattoos were quite small and took less than an hour to complete, this was unexpected. We pointed out the miscommunication, and Jake explained that the shop's minimum charge is $100. But earlier, when discussing pricing, he had mentioned that he could draw something in the range of $50-$200, which made the $100 minimum seem inconsistent. While I felt the situation wasn't handled as clearly as it should have been, Drew, another artist at the shop that did two of our tattoos, was very understanding. He apologized for the confusion and gave us two free shirts to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. I think it would be helpful if the shop's minimum charge were clearly posted somewhere, as we didn't see it. Drew's professionalism definitely stood out, and I would recommend confirming the total price in writing before proceeding with any tattoos here to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, I appreciate Drew's kindness, but I suggest others ensure they have a clear, written agreement on pricing before starting their tattoos.
