Had been going to this salon every 2 weeks for months for regular hard gel fills. Usually had a good experience until one morning I was put with a nail tech that I did not book my appt with. I have never in my life had a more painful experience. I had to pull my hand away multiple times as she was using the E file because she kept rubbing it on my cuticle bed rather than the nail. The nails came out uneven in size and shape, there are bubbles in the gel base and the nail color is patchy. I called the salon to explain what happened and on my first call they wanted me to come back in just so they can look at it and when I explained I am over 35 minutes away and that it's not convenient for me I got met with silence and then they hung up. I called back and nicely said I believe we got disconnected and they said "so you want to talk to her again" and when I said yes and they put the woman I was speaking to back on the phone she said "ok so do you want to come back in to fix it?" At this point I am no longer interested in going back to the salon to have it fixed and I am no longer interested in going back to the salon period. read more

I've been doing powder gel manicures for years. I recently went to do them in rock star and at first it seemed like a beautiful manicure. A couple of days later I started to see cracks in one of my nails, then two, then three, then four. I decided to give them a call after only a week. This manicure cost me 60 bucks and it's supposed to last 3-4 weeks! When I called they asked for a picture of the damaged nails and so I emailed them. Couldn't speak with a manager or owner, instead someone relaying messages back and forth. They offered to fix the 3-4 bad nails for $15 and if there's more then it would be $25. I payed 60 bucks!! It's supposed to last more than 8 days!!! I had an appointment again in a few days so I asked her if they can offer a discount for my upcoming appointment and they said "no, sorry". I wasn't asking for a free Manicure, just some compensation for the poor quality manicure I got. This place is all about the money, all frills and no customer service. I cancelled my upcoming appointment as well as my moms and her aid. They didn't seem to care one bit. I will not be giving them my business any more. read more

I arrived 10 minutes late (my fault) and they gave my appointment away and told me there were no more openings for the day. They told me they called me twice. When I showed my phone and that I had no missed calls, they said "we called. Sorry" Not the kind of service I expect when Im paying over $100 for a manicure and pedicure. I got completely overcharged for a gel polish change, a regular gel pedicure is $50, but I got charged $40 to just change the color. Keep in mind, I brought my own gel color from home too. The man ringing me out at the front was so rude when I questioned the price because it seemed a little unreasonable to me. The man doing my gel polish change was so rough and quick taking off the previous gel color, my cuticles are all cut up. It was a very nice experience, I only got a classic pedicure. What comes with it is a hot stone massage, hot towel, a 5 minute massage, and this wax stuff they put on your heels leaving your heels nice and soft, and color. It is worth it and feels very nice. read more

When I called to speak with Manager Anthony. All he would do is give an apology, with no recourse for a solution or bare minimum, compensate me for time and patience. I avoided this place for a long time until my sister in law went and had rave reviews. My experience was in fact the quite opposite and actually awful enough for me to write a review...which I never do. Yes, it was that bad. I signed up through their site for the same person she had, Coco. I arrived on time and they took me back 7 minutes late. It was not Coco that I had, it was Angela, and when I asked, she just laughed and said yeah she's here. The classic pedi was rushed, I'm talking slapped on the scrub and immediately rinsed it off, nails quickly and poorly painted- I left with nail polish on the tips of my toes (skin, not nails) and sandals!!...which I did not notice until I went to remove toe separators. She sent a timer for the "massage" which was a half *ssed lightly lotioning. All in my pedi was about 20 minutes. I've never felt so rushed in my life. It feels like a factory rather than the "spa" they claim to be. Don't let the aesthetics fool you. I attempted to enhance my poor experience by adding on a 10 min massage while I dried, that was probably the biggest mistake. The man's name was Kevin and he was aggressive. I regularly receive deep tissue massages, and enjoy deep pressure but aggressive and poor technique has probably done more harm than good, honestly. My neck now hurts :( It wasn't a massage but rather a shoving of my head and elbows digging in my shoulder but not in the right places (on the bone sometimes!) I should've stopped it but I thought maybe it would get better and I did tell him it was too much, he eased off and it wasn't miserable the WHOLE time, but most of it because he continued to be aggressive after I said "too much!" Yes my fault for letting an untrained, unskilled person do this. I deeply regret it and regret ever stepping foot in this place. I didn't remember this place having good reviews, but I thought I'd give it a chance after hearing a good review from someone I knew. Save yourself the time, money, disappointment, and pain. Go literally anywhere else in the area. There are so many spots within a 5 mile radius of here. read more
