We were able to make a reservation just the day before online, but this availability may vary during more peak seasons. We were there during the shoulder season. The kids class (Shard Shop Original Art Class) is really reasonably priced and they had a blast creating their own piece of art! Strange, but their only other location is in New Orleans. We showed up on time for our appointment and did not feel rushed. There was one party leaving and another party was there with us, so my kids had their own table full of supplies. They have sample you can base your art off of, or you can freestyle it. Everything was included! Note that it takes a little over 24 hours for your art to cure so don't plan this the day before or the day you are leaving the area. They can always mail it to you, but there is a cost associated and it's more fun to pick it up yourself.

She was quick to respond and very friendly! She gave me a bunch of options to pick from that I felt would work good for the group/theme. On the day of the booking, she arrived on time to set up and she provides all the supplies needed. You can also pick what size canvas you want. We all had to travel with carry on suitcases so we opted for a smaller canvas and it was perfect. She was very helpful and painted along with us, giving us tips when features came up. I made a resin…read morecharcuterie board, a small rectangular one as I really want to hang it rather than use it as intended. My limited creativity still delivered a very nice piece. Using completely different materials and techniques was a great learning experience. If you make a charcuterie board tiny glitter is available to enhance your piece. Two of my fellow participants added it to their handiwork, and it really enhanced their pieces. Must pick up the next day so factor that into your plans. I considered doing a crushed glass piece too but it seemed beyond my creative skills. Some of the crushed glass pieces are easier than others. Separately, they had some commissioned work being done and the skills of the staff are simply amazing. Would definitely try this again. Well worth the cost.
