The person with whom I spoke understood how dangerous of a situation this was and a service person was scheduled that day. 2nd call was for electrical work--not urgent but they happened to be able to squeeze me in on the same day which was probably rare but amazing! Best parts of this experience: 1. Friendly and empathic front team who got me scheduled ASAP. 2. Text prior to the service person's arrival with their pic and some info to help personalize this 'stranger' 3. The service people themselves--extremely competent, focused, and very personable. I only wish they serviced commercial properties so I could have them out to my business!

Checked my spam, snail mail and junk mail, nothing. I finally picked out another contractor and just had it installed yesterday. I told my new contractor about not getting a quote from 1 company without naming this company. He said to me Would that be JC Hvac? I said yes. He said you wouldn't believe how many other customers tell me they never got their quotes either after Jason showed up. So obviously JC Hvac has enough business without quoting new jobs. I got a better idea. How about not wasting my time and others when you have no intention of doing the job or providing a quote?

Called Monday morning when the office opened and was greeted by a friendly person who took my name and address and information about the problem we were having. She had an opening in a hour or was willing to work around my schedule - an hour was great for me. She also explained payment was expected when the service was completed - I appreciate knowing that ahead of time so I could find our check book that we rarely use anymore. The technician arrived on time and was friendly and neat. Introduced himself and asked some follow up questions to begin work. He had a good idea where to start and began working on the condenser outside. Ten minutes in he found the problem part and had a replacement part in his truck. He also noted the the fins were dirty and cleaned them as well. Once the repair was finished he stopped inside and checked the thermostat and fired up the AC. In a few minutes it was blowing cold air. I feel this company has a reputation for honest work and good technicians. They came recommended by family. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
