The whole process went smoothly, Kevin was very friendly and easy to work with; he provided the most information on what type of windows to get for our situation. He was very responsive and answered any questions we had. They also had very reasonable prices and detailed quotes. My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. While at the meeting I get a call wondering where I was and that the technician was on scene an hour early. They had put the time down wrong. I rescheduled the appointment. The day before this follow up appointment, they called and wanted to move the appointment from morning to early afternoon. I said OK but again I needed a firm time because of my schedule. At the appointed time they did not show. I had to call them, and they said they would be 30-60 minutes late the tech was tied up on a job that was taking him longer. I again had other commitments later day and could not wait around so I cancelled. I have no interest in doing business with someone who is unreliable to their commitments to a scheduled appointment.
