I've been to a few Rocket Fizz establishments and this one was consistent with the others, if not maybe a bit smaller. They had all the typical fare and tons of options for drinks and candy. There were some interesting toys, like the goth cats, and tons of signs for sale.. again, all typical for the store.

Whenever I'm on Central I'm going to make a stop. I like Rocket Fizz because it has jumbo sizes of Candy I can't get in a regular store. It's a nostalgic candy, novelty, soda, odd finds gift shop!! They are really stocked with every candy brand imaginable. It's so visually stimulating. I just go inside and can find pb & j soda or pickle flavored lollipops. It definitely looks like a store you'd find in L. A. or see in an old 80's movie. If you have time stop by...and bring your sweet tooth! Also be prepared to be there for a half an hour atleast- it's going to take you back to your childhood for sure!!

Stopped in while walking around the area, since we really don't live close to one of these anymore. We like to stroll in and look around at all the various candy and sodas they have. They even had a table full of 80s candy. Definitely brought back memories!! Staff was nice and welcoming. The store is laid out well with plenty of room to walk around without being in anyone's way.

This was one of my favorite discoveries during a recent trip to St. Petersburg. Opened in 2019, they occupy the space formerly held by Daddy Kool Records. Rocket Fizz was founded Ryan and Rob who started their business by selling fake dog doodoo and other novelties. There are also stores in Wesley Chapel and Clearwater along with 90 other Rocket Fizz stores. Rocket Fizz is famous for the 500 kinds of soda which include traditional flavors like root beer, birch beer, and cream soda, and more out there flavors like s'mores, mustard, bacon with chocolate, fungal fruit, dinosaur dung, ranch, and buffalo wing. I am still mad at myself for not picking up the pineapple whip. The birthday cake soda would make the perfect gift for anyone celebrating their special day. They had my favorite Japanese Ramune but for much more than it costs me when I pick it up at the local Asian market. This would be five stars for the soda selection alone but that is not all they sell. They are also the purveyor of every kind of candy imaginable. Nostalgic favorites are on the shelf along with the latest and greatest. Are you brave enough to try the scorpion jewels with real scorpions or how about the chocolate dipped insects? Maybe the giant gummy bears and tootsie pop is more to your taste. Ham flavored candy canes? I loved the Harry Potter section. After browsing the store I finally narrowed my selection down to the Unicorn Yack soda, a chocolate candy by Chuao called Sprinkle Dreams which was a waffle cone piece with hazelnut, rainbow sprinkles, and chocolate, and Hi-Chew candy in my favorite flavor, grape. They have a bottle opener to pop your soda open and some are twist cap. This store is so fun and I hope they come to South Florida.

This place is so cool! Every candy and soda you can think of Novelty and not Got my chili chocolate fix as well as a maple flavored bacon soda I reduced and used as a glaze on some ribs I made. I spent way too long here lol

Adorable candy shop right on Central. The store is jam-packed with candies and novelty items. It also has tons and tons of flavored soda. Literally anything you could imagine. The candies are more along the non-chocolate side. The staff was also a very nice. Great vibe in the store!

One of the coolest places I have visited in downtown St Pete. This place has a huge variety of soda and candy and many more things. Unfortunately I was only able to be here for 15 minutes so I didn't get to explore as much as I want. But if you are an avid fizz fan whether it be soda or candy , I highly recommend checking out this place. Furthermore, they have a nice selection of tin decorations with a lot of different sayings on them. Def coming back to purchase one on a later time.

Lots of fun sodas, signs and candy. I have to deduct a star for their prices. Way too high for what you get. Pop has no prices posted. You'd think people would question that, right? They did and were ignored. The taxes are odd too. I've never seen taxes like this before (see pic below).

This is a new retro candy spot. It's so cute inside and lots of cool stuff. It's fun for all age. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of different candys and toys. They have yummy unique sodas. I got the Chocolate strawberry soda, a banana chocolate candy bar, black jack gum and pepper black licorice. I'm excited to try it all. Definitely recommend going here.

If you are a candy and side fan, this is your place. I am not a fan of either one but they have something for everyone. It is just a cool, fun place to walk into and look around. We ended up buying quite a bit.

Are you from the UK and homesick? did you used to live in…read morethe UK and miss it or want to take a trip down memory lane? Do you have oddly specific cravings for food from across the pond? Do you have a need for proper British products? Then come on down to the British Shop. It's a quaint place for souvenirs and snacks. Very cute around the holidays (and in general).

It's so great to have a shop that has all things British in South Tampa. It truly is a one stop…read moreshop. They have beautiful sets of mixing bowls that remind me of the Great British Bake Off show. I saw the traditional teapots that you see all over the English countryside. There's snacks, chocolates, hard candies, tea, frozen pies, curry sauces, cheese, and even ice cream. I felt like I was back in Woodbridge, England. I honestly haven't seen this many grocery items in one place since being stationed over there. It really brought back great memories. I ended up buying some sweets. I was mainly looking for a box of Cadbury Roses, and some hard fruit candies with soft centers. I can't remember the brand name. I ended up getting the Cadbury Bournville bar in the Old Jamaica flavor. I thought it had been discontinued. This is actually the first time I've seen it in years. I also got the Simpkins Mixed Fruit Drops. It's the simple things that make me happy. All tasted exactly as I remembered them to be. I didn't get to hang out at the store long enough. I think that's a good thing, because I would have bought the Cadbury Eclairs and the Walkers Roasted Hazelnut Toffee bars. I'll need to pace myself. I can't wait to return for more goodies. It will be even more tempting at Christmas time when they bring in seasonal candies (hopefully liquor filled), and tree ornaments.

We found parking easily every time we went to this area in front of the church which was super nice because everywhere else on the island parking is a literal bear an agitated one at that lol. We walked down to the shop some places had nice shaded wooden porches to walk under and a path a little further from the main road which was nice. When we made it we looked at all the stuffies on the porch and then ventured inside. They have beach hats, clothing for ladies and men, toys, souvenirs and candy. I don't know about your kids but mine right now is obsessed with squishy dumplings if a store has them she can find them in mere minutes! They had several varieties including glow in the dark ones, they had the squishy cheese (which she says is "the best"), and squishy gummy bears (regular colors and glitter ones). We ended up getting a dumpling and a squishy gummy bear. Service was friendly and store was clean and organized. We ended up checking out pretty quickly once we were ready which was great because my husband was waiting for us outside with the pup! Definitely check it out if you have kiddos they will love it!!

Very clean, very nice detailed store. The candy looked very fresh too and not dry like some stores in the area. Very impressed. Most impressed with the customer service I received from the shop owner's daughter at the register. Very sweet girl. We chatted a bit and we complimented each other on our nails :) even though her's were much better than mine! I will def be back next year!
