We chose rocket shell because it was cheaper than the actual PODS company but what a MISTAKE!!! We should have read these reviews first. The shell was delivered on time to our apartment on 2/27/25 and we loaded it up and it was picked up when they said it would be picked up on 3/3/25. We had it delivered to our new home on 3/7/25. When we arrived we noticed tire marks from them dropping off the container (see picture). Then we start noticing red paint all over the carpet (see pictures) and my husbands and movers clothes and boxes. I call the company and they told me that the tire marks wash off (which they don't) and we can file a claim with our home owners insurance. They refuse to refund or fix the issues or even admit it's their containers fault for these issues. Charlene an associate says "moving is a dirty job". Just spend the extra money and go with U-Haul or PODs so you don't have to deal with issues like this when moving into your new home. These guys were hired by our restoration company. We were told they'd bill our insurance directly, but we had to leave a card on file in case our insurance didn't pay at the end of our project. Surprise, surprise! They auto billed my card several times. They sent monthly rental invoice and didn't prorate back the dates (2! Weeks!) that we didn't have the unit. They advertise a "Spring Special" of $70 Off per month, but they don't include that if they auto-bill you... ha! When questioned, Lanny insisted they don't prorate (not lawful if they include rental DATES not just "monthly rental" on their invoice.) He told me since I threatened to report his slimy business practice to the BBB, he wouldn't "offer me a kind gesture". There is no kind gesture needed, don't be slime balls. You kept money that wasn't yours, but apparently you needed it more than us. Enjoy! read more

The worst company ever the worst customer service. I have a water loss claim they're supposed to be billing the insurance the insurance has called them and gave them the information yet they keep on billing me. And when I call them they are rude. I have never experienced such entitled rude people in my life. They sent me an email stating that they have never spoken with the person who is in charge of my water last year. I have emails providing that they have even the person LANY, yes you you're stating that Tamra from AAA never spoke with you. You're such a liar you received a call from AAA and was advised to stop charging my credit card. Add to bill AAA yet you keep on billing me and running my credit card. read more

Rocket Shell was hired by our packout company to deliver a storage unit to our driveway. Initially, I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, so my rating might change depending on the billing process. I hope they'll bill my insurance directly without any issues. Chris, who delivered the storage unit, was on time, professional, friendly, and extremely skilled in maneuvering the unit with precision. He returned to pick up the unit as promised, and it was impressive to watch him expertly back the unit onto his trailer. I'm surprised no one has given him a shout-out yet--he's got major skills! read more

Please call me back. Please send me the right invoices. Please separate them. Please come to our office with what invoices you believe have not been paid. Please be responsible. That's what I and my staff has been asking from them for months. To give them credit when you do call they do respond and for the most part the do get pods onsite and on time. There customer service is good if you don't take into account their accounting and billing department or person since it appears to be a ma and pa organization. We have been asked multiple times 5 months ago for invoice that now instead of sending them in a legible manner or sitting down with us they have decided to go the easy route and lean our customers property instead of taking the time to sort through their billing mistakes. I have held of writing this review in hopes they would call to fix this. Instead I get a call from an insurance company who is concerned that their customer has a license house because of ROCKET SHELL. The bottom line is ROCKET SHELL is a difficult business to do business with in the back end. They do not have systems in place to service their customers who order multiple pods. The WORSE people skills I have ever encountered. We utilized Rocket Shells services through a different company and the minimal contact we had was horrible. At drop off the male in the red Ford was very rude and matter of fact, picked up his phone mid conversation without even a "hold a minute ma'am". At pick up he was even worse if that is possible, he opened the shed and said it needed to be empty. I attempted to explain those boxes belonged to his contractor but he cut me off and began to throw them in my driveway without even acknowledging me. Who in the world treats a customer like that? I realize it's a shed, you put your stuff in and it serves it's purpose but you still need to have some kind of customer service skill. read more

It was a pleasure to deal with Rocketshell. I called one of the bigger places and they couldn't even say when they could drop it off or pick it up with certainty. When I called Dave he told me exactly when he could drop the pod off, and when he could pick it up. I'd give these guys more than five stars if I could. The pod itself was MUCH nicer than the competitors, and sealed up extremely well. I had it at my place for four months and didn't find so much as a single bug inside when we unloaded it.
