The snow crab, crawfish, mussels, and shrimp were incredibly fresh. Compared to Boiling Crab, their sauce is thicker and richer in flavor. The Medium heat was just right for us, but it might be a bit too spicy for others. We also ordered the Lobster fries, which really balanced the heat from the sauce--a perfect match! Everything was good until we found a piece of paper stuck to the claw of a crawfish with words of "keep frozen" etc. then the server doesn't even check or look at it, and says it was just seasoning. Lol she brings it back to the manager and was like " it was from the packaging".. why is it in our food ? When we got there it was pretty empty by the time we left it was packed but we got everything we needed in a timely matter no matter the crowd. We order lemon pepper wings and they were delicious. The #3 combo was EXTREMELY SALTY ! Was very painful to eat. The king crab and snow asked for just boil. No spice please. So my 5 year old can enjoy it. Of course came out spicy. Their exploitationwas the boiling water is the same water they use. But obviously their food is precooked and pre marinated. So instead of getting a new batch. Dined here for the third time on Saturday (March 29th, 2025), the first and last time two times prior to my recent experience was in October and November, respectively of 2022 those two occasions were absolutely wonderful. The service was great as well as the food. They were playing a series of hits from the early 2000s which really added to the vibe on all occasions. I especially love how well carbonated their fountain soda drinks are they last a long time which I've yet to experience that part from any location aside from McDonald's. On all three occasions, the same thing was ordered. with the addition to the fried platter this last time, which was the seafood boil mix at $64.99. Here is where things go south while dining. I've bit into one of the shrimp, and got off putting taste. I hope that it was nothing, but turns out it was. The place advertises "always fresh" now given that seafood in the Los Angeles area is not pulled from our beaches oceans because of pollution, we know that's not entirely true, however, how you keep frozen seafood, still requires a certain level of precaution. We had dinner around seven and arrived back home about eight p.m. By 11 PM I was in the restroom with diarrhea and consistently had it until about 8 AM the next morning. I thought maybe it was just me, but seeing how my mother who also dined with me on all these occasions as well, at this location, she also woke up with diarrhea; that is the only thing both of us had eaten which leaves us to conclude that it was in fact, the boiled seafood, not the fried platter, because today, not even a full two days later, when I opened the refrigerator, I was immediately hit with the smell of spoiled seafood (as we brought home our leftovers). We haven't touched the food since we brought it home Saturday night. Mind you, that is the only food currently in our refrigerator and it's Monday afternoon as I type this review. So today, I called the restaurant around noon, to inquire if I could possibly speak with the manager, just to inform them of the situation, not wanting anything in return, except for them to make sure that things are being properly stored. I said, " hello, I was wondering if I could speak with your manager"? I was told, "the manager isn't available" then I asked if I would be able to leave my number for when the manager would be available? The person who answered the phone said "the management doesn't come in until Thursday". I said "wowwww, okay, well thank you" and without any response, she hung up the phone. Now this is where I get upset, and here I am leaving a yelp review. Diarrhea is not anything to play with, and the fact that this person who answered the phone didn't even attempt to inquire about why I would possibly need the manager or if there was anything that she could help me with instead, she had an attitude, and then hung up the phone, in my face, before I could say goodbye, indicates to me she had a problem, and likely the manager was actually there, and just does not want to deal with customers? I don't know, but the service was great that night. "M" was our waiter, Super fun, super lively, so I was surprised by this encounter today, Monday afternoon, only two days later, to get this. So what do you do when you can't make things right with the actual establishments, when you try? You come to Yelp and you write a review about your experience (since they didn't care to hear it), as we know, reviews make the world of difference. That phone call today was unprofessional. I've worked in Customer Service, and I highly value treating clients with respect, as well as a customer treating employees with respect because we all deserve respect and appreciation. The bill was over 100 and something dollars, seafood in California, is not inexpensive (due to the shipping factor, previously mentioned). So basically, we're not likely to be returning, and I say go at with your own risk, at this point. Cheers! read more

This place was great. I haven't been to a Cajun spot in a while, and they did not disappoint. The Cajun sauces they have here were great. Order the 40 dollar snow crab boil. My waiter was a sweetheart; she made sure we had everything we needed. We got to the restaurant just before the Saturday rush, so everything came out fast. Paying the tab was a little slow due to the crowd, but overall, a good experience. We topped it off with some beignets, and they were pretty tasty. 3.5 Stars for the record folks. Tasty but a little on the pricey side for what you get. The dining area is kinda like what you'd see at a mall as far as tables and chairs go. The service was decent especially considering how busy they were. Now keep in mind that this is the kinda fish place where they offer bibs for the potential fish flying around from the chow down. Their shrimp has a lot of flavor. I usually get the Cajun sauce Mild with the head on, it is an enjoyable spicy. The only thing is I wish they would use fresh garlic chunks in their sauce instead of jar diced garlic. Their potatoes, corn and sausages are well made. They have a variety of delicious lemonades, one glass is honestly enough. Their crab was also yummy but just lacked flavor, but I think crab doesn't have much flavor in general. Their calamari is very flavorful and chewy. Their fries are good as well. Another dish I've tried was their jambalaya which was not good at all, it had a bit of a weird taste. I would never recommend it. Service is okay. They did forget to give us clippers to open the crab legs and they did not offer us bibs or gloves. However, they do check up on you and they are friendly servers. Which creates an inviting ambiance. Every time I go there is either no wait time or a wait of 15 minutes. I used to really like this place. My last visit put such a bad taste in my mouth I refused to eat what I ordered. I walk in and the employees are looking me up and down and end up pointing towards the dining room telling us we can sit anywhere (where's the hospitality, but alright).
