In that short time, she already had such traumatic experiences she developed PTSD. She has also been diagnosed with AdHD, Autism, depression and anxiety. When she was 3, we found Roughout Ranch. She has loved horse since she was a baby. I was hoping to find a program that would fit her needs. There are others in our area, I visited with their clients (who seemed happy with them). But I just didn't feel they were right for my little one. However, Roughout Ranch has been perfect. Her visits are just her (even before the pandemic). My grandson also goes and they often will have their visits scheduled together. Kathy still tailors the visits according to their individual needs. My daughter has become so much more patient and aware of other's feelings. They are also working on conquering some of her fears. You can definitely tell when she has not been to the ranch in awhile. I only wish she could visit everyday!

The menu at the Roadrunner seemed to be sort slanted towards the Mexican food side, but not like a full on Mexican restaurant though. We stopped in here while visiting family to see what kind of options they had. We're always on the hunt for good quality meats. While they're primarily known for processing game, I'm glad we stopped in. What stood out to us: 1. Prices are extremely reasonable. $7/lb for Tri-tip and that isn't even a sale price. We pay atleast $12.99/lb usually. They also had organic chicken (although it wasn't labeled organic, they said it is) for $1.50-5/lb depending on the cut. 2. When asking what's popular, the owners mentioned the sausages are a hit with the locals. They make them all in house. I was particularly excited to hear that the sun dried tomatoes in the tomato basil sausage and the jalapeños in the jalapeño cheese sausage were grown in their garden out back. It doesn't get much more fresh and local than that! While we didn't try the chorizo this time, they also noted that it's a popular option and they have people purchase it in bulk to use at restaurants. One thing I would note is that it seems like their retail meats are sourced from a number of places . They have some stuff that they just bought commercially, some stuff that is from other fairly local farms, and some things that are processed right there in house. Sourcing matters to you? Be sure to have a conversation about it with them, Roger there they can tell you everything. One of the owners and her son spent a lot of time with us. Also note that if you spend about $200 or more they'll give you a flat discount off the top! We spent just over $200, and came out with 3 heaping grocery bags of meat to fill the freezer! You can't get that much bang for your buck at the grocery store.
