Ray was such a great guide for our wine tour! Celebrated my birthday with Rockin" Wine tours and had a blast!

Had an absolute blast on the Rockin' Wine Tour with our driver, Cowboy Dave! Dave had the bus decorated for the bride-to-be when we arrived, which was a sweet surprise and made her feel so special. There was champagne upon arrival, plenty of water bottles, and the AC in the bus was incredible for a hot day in Temecula. The bus had bluetooth, so we were able to listen to our music on the way to each winery. Truth be told, we probably had more fun inside of the bus dancing and singing than we did outside at the wineries! ;) Dave was full of wine facts, asking us trivia questions at each winery and giving us a little bit of history. He was incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and kind! Dave was sure to take lots of pictures for us and sent them along to us at the end of our tour. The girls and I had a blast! The wineries we went to were all pretty great! The first one, Callaway, was our favorite. The second one was also great as we got to sip on wine along with enjoy a platter of crackers, cheese, and salami. The last winery was not our favorite, as it was a little on the smaller side and you didn't get to pick out your wine. The people who owned the winery picked for you and poured right at the table. I'm not a huge red wine person and the majority of the wine was red, so this was not my favorite. We did, however, get to enjoy sandwiches, chips, and cookies at the last winery, which was great after a day of drinking! Dave was accommodating and was able to drop us off at a fourth winery rather than where he picked us up so that we could check out the winery that the bride-to-be was getting married at. The wine tour started off great , driver explained everything & had us sign their contract stating if we puke on the bus we get fined. Which is fine. He went over designated Dj & the driver himself took it upon himself to make himself the photographer. He took photos of us in the bus & them some with himself in it & then He also jokingly "took a picture" under his kilt saying one for the ladies. The rest of the tour went smooth until the very end. As the driver was taking a turn a guest on the bus tried to grab ice out of the chest inside the bus that was provided to us. As the guest sat down the ice chest fell with the guest. Our driver was very much upset & was screaming "dude wtf" & threw something on the ground while driving. As we arrived to our stop he told everyone to "get the fuck off the bus "about 2-3 times as we stumbled to get off WHILE he stood in the way. We then noticed someone forgot their phone on the bus & I asked if we could retrieve it the next day. He then stated that he didn't have enough time to wait & could only wait for a few min. He then left it in a "safe" area . It was a bush with a leaf over it. & then sent him Venmo' via text saying "just incase" . read more

All around just outstanding service. We had a group of 9 for a bachelorette party. I initially contacted the company through email and I was able to book in advance for a private tour. The information they provided was very thorough. Near the day of the event, I was contacted to confirm the size of the group and location for pickup. The driver/guide contacted me the day before and the day of. Our driver/guide's name was Tim. He was excellent! He helped made our party fun and was organized. He corralled our buzzed boozy loud group. He got us to places on time but also made sure we got what we wanted and needed. It was like having a personal assistant. Such a fun evening with James!! We had an absolutely blast touring the wineries of Temecula for my sister's bachelorette party. There were 12 total guests, so we really enjoyed the private nature of the bus. James was full of charisma and truly made the day so special for the bachelorette on her celebratory weekend! Hands down the best birthday I've ever had! There were 15 people in my group and Toby made the planning process very easy. He was always quick to respond to me emails, and gave me all the details I needed for the perfect day. Reserved them for my 30th bday for a group of 16. They came early to the air bnb for pickup, and included more than what I thought. The decor on the bus was def to my liking and request. I booked this wine tour for a bachelorette party, and Cowboy Dave was our DD. He was hands down the best! We went to 3 wineries, and he would even help the server get us our wine or waters. He explained to us the way to actually taste the wine. He went above and beyond at being our photographer (great pictures by the way) and even teaching the bride to be how to dance! We did our research and did not see a personalized guided wine tasting experience until we found Rockin' Wine. They live up to their name, we had a rockin good time! We were picked up from a local Starbucks, (because we are locals) and taken on a comfortable safe ride through the back roads of Temecula. We had two experienced and two inexperienced wine tasters, and fun and drinks were had by all. Nathaniel was our driver, and he delivered a first class experience from the start. He is knowledgeable in many areas of wine making, and he coordinated our day. This is not your typical "drop you off at the front door" wine tour, and definitely not just your chauffeur either. Tip for the ladies, wear flats or cute sandals! You're going to be standing most of the time and on grass for the last winery so save those poor feet of yours! Also, if you're a lightweight drinker, just opt for the nonalcoholic pass which is cheaper and you can totally still get drunk from the champagne during bus ride. read more

What we loved was the fact that we would have our own private bus and it would be decorated for our friends 40th birthday with champagne on ice! Didn't like the idea of joining in with other guests. The tour couldn't have been any better. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed! Our tour guide was a riot. Wore a Kilt and we became friends. Amazing service. Took photos, told jokes, made sure everything was taken care of the entire time! They even cleaned with Lysol between each stop! Holler at your boy! Nathaniel is awesome - thank you! My girlfriends and I decided to go on a tour instead of dedicate an entire day to one vineyard. We were also pulling the responsible card and wanted someone to be able to drive us around after consuming lots of delicious Cali wine. I couldn't have been happier with our decision. At first, when Nathaniel picked us up.. I'm not gonna lie. I thought, great, this guy is going to TRY to "entertain" us and won't know diddly about wine. How wrong I was.. Nathaniel knew errthang about some wine. He actually makes his own wine and beer and has worked for a lot of the vineyards you will visit. Pretty legit! He was also quite the photog. I brought my fancy camera and he just kept it around his neck and took a ton of pictures of us girls posing and then lots of fun candid shots. They will last a lifetime - THANK YOU! I've been on many wine tours, vineyard tours, etc.. This is the first time where I actually learned a ton! Give this man a raise! He made the trip! We went to three different wineries/vineyards. The first - Hart Family Winery. Small but very sweet. The couple pouring our glasses were married, sweet and good lawd did they pour well! ;-) I had to pour a lot of glasses out so that I didn't get wasted face in the first hour. Second stop was Leoness Cellars! Incredible! Firstly, LADIES: If you live near Temecula and love wine and are engaged... check out this place! Beautiful for an elegant wedding. Oh, yeah, wine was fabulous and I learned a ton there too! They took us into a little VIP area where we tasted at a huge table and enjoyed a pair ensemble of cheeses, grapes, licorice and chocolate. The director new his wine like the back of his hand and all were very patient with us chatty girls. This was our favorite stop and I highly recommend you visit. Lastly, we stopped at Robert Renzoni Vineyards. Beautiful stop, a little busy but fun! If you're gonna go all out on tasting, go with Rockin' Wine Tours. The tour guide will accommodate you with just about anything.. whether it be knowledge on wine, music, Temecula, taking pictures of you and your friends, ensuring you have water for hydration or great restaurants to visit in San Diego.
