Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing in several ways. While we were in the room, there was painting being done nearby, and the fumes were extremely strong. When we called the front desk, we were initially told no painting was occurring, only to later return and find wet paint signs posted. We also had maintenance issues in the room, including a toilet paper holder that was not attached to the wall and a shower that took over 20 minutes to even get warm. We understand this is a historic building, but we did not experience these kinds of issues during prior stays. Additionally, the dining room appeared to have only one server working. She was absolutely wonderful and did her best, but it was clear she was stretched too thin to provide attentive service to all guests. Overall, we still appreciate the character and location of the hotel, but this stay fell short of the experience we were expecting based on our past visits.

There is no room service. While you can order food online from the restaurant, you're required to go down to the lobby to pick it up yourself. On top of that, there is no food available after 10 p.m. The "all-day menu" advertised online is misleading, as it's actually only available during lunch and dinner hours, with no clear times listed anywhere. There's also no ice service as advertised on the property. You have to go searching for it yourself on specific floors (the 4th or 6th). I requested extra pillows at the time of booking, and that request was never accommodated. The building is located on a very busy street, and the noise was constant throughout the night. Between traffic and garbage trucks beeping around 4 a.m., getting a good night's sleep was difficult. The one and ONLY bright spot of the entire stay was the valet attendant, who was incredibly friendly and had a great attitude; easily the best part of the experience. Overall, this stay was a huge waste of money and fell FAR short of the service and comfort I associate with Hilton. I will NOT be staying here again, and you should consider a different establishment if you're looking for a truly comfortable and service oriented stay. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

We were able to use whatever vendors we wanted as long as they were licensed and insured. The space is large and we divided the main space into two separate rooms using pipe and draping to keep the ceremony area separate from the dining area. They have a nice bar area and prep kitchen making it a lot easier for caterers. They have a courtyard also that can serve as the ceremony area if preferred. We used that area for our cocktail hour. They were responsive, articulate, and able to answer whatever question we threw at them. Additionally, they have a bride and groom suite, making it super easy to get dressed at the venue. We highly recommend this venue as they could accommodate everything we needed for our daughter's wedding.

She is Puerto Rican, but I'm white, just like you. So I don't know what kind of people you are talking about"., Now, after the party. He is refusing to give me back the deposit that is owed to me. We made it work for our daughter. But, we do not recommend this place. We don't even want our deposit back anymore. We just don't want anyone to be treated that way. When I called a lady had answered the phone and started quoting me different prices ,when I had question that prices that I was previously quoted and that was advertised on their brochure and website were different from what she was quoting me was not the prices as stated on both their business website and brochure. I did asked if the prices had recently changed she never answered that question. She only stated that it seems like I would be happy elsewhere. Unaware that she had hung up the phone, I was apologizing to her about me asking if prices had recently changed until I realized it was silent on the other end. I called back 2 more times from my phone number and my daughters phone and she sent straight to voicemail. I have never been retreated in such an unprofessional manner that it completely has made me change my mind about having my wedding here. All of this because I question if their prices had recently changed. If you're going to advertise prices on your business, brochure and have rental managers quote one price then you should honor that price. If it had recently change then say I apologize we need to up date our advertising and stated that as well.
