It reminded me of walking into a chain-smoking family member's living room. It was bad enough that we walked down to ask the front desk if we possibly got the wrong room, since we thought we were getting a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, the worker at the desk could care less. Apparently, all rooms are non-smoking now...but yet, ours had the overwhelming smell of smoke. Otherwise, we found the beds to be comfortable, and our bathroom was clean. As a side note regarding the bathroom--I found it rather odd that there were no vents or exhaust fans for the bathroom. This was a little weird to us that you couldn't turn on the fan to exhaust the steam from the shower, nor could you use it to exhaust other "fumes" when someone was using the bathroom. When you have a family staying in a room, that last part is pretty important.... Personally, my family and I will probably NOT willingly return to this hotel because of the smoke-issue and lack of concern over what we experienced there. The majority of staff that interacted with us were very short with us, and seemed to not want to be bothered...even when asking for recommendations on local restaurants or places to visit. Need a quick, overnight stay? Sure, this could work for you. But, for a few days-stay...I would be choosing somewhere else.

The beds were cozy sure. The worst part about my stay was for breakfast. Their food was minimal and not just that, it was really bad. Even so awful that other guests were complaining about it. All in all, I probably wouldn't come back here.

If you don't need a brand new fresh coat of paint and can appreciate a bit history. This is your place to stay! Oh , it's also got 24/7 security cameras. The staff was very friendly upon checking in. The incidentals fee was $40, which was great compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The room itself was clean. Great shower/water pressure. Fridge worked perfectly. Heating/cooling system in the room was great as well. They offered a continental breakfast from 7-10am. My only complaint was that the television didn't work at all. But I wasn't in the room enough to actually ask the staff about possibly fixing it. But overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay for a few nights and don't require anything overly fancy.

Found one side door doesn't close-it's permanently unlocked (safety hazard) I was on the second floor. The since counter is too small. created a lot of space by angling the sink that's nice if you need a lot of space, but it is not practical if you need a lot of counter space I chose a king bed and there was so much floor space not occupied by furniture. I found that very nice. That was nice. The bed was made nicely- all except for when you undid it to go to sleep. Housekeeping didn't bother to put the fitted sheet all the way on so it popped off the moment I moved the duvet and I don't know if they're using too small of a fitted sheet or their fitted sheets are shrinking, but you couldn't get it to even cover the mattress. It wouldn't even go more than a centimeter over the mattress's initial edge. Needless to say, I woke up with a fitted sheet cover's edge in my face. This is a BIG pet peeve of mine What I hated about this hotel... which is essentially the root of why it has such a low star ranking : I don't know if they have fire walls. Between the rooms. Why? They definitely don't have any soundproofing attributes. I could hear my neighbors as if they were standing in my room Honestly I think I could hear my neighbor's neighbors as if they were right next-door to my front door, Oh, and now let's talk about the front door. It was busy over the holidays so ran out of some things close to closing time and seating area was full. Heated pool with towels. Gym area with machines. 24 hour Business center was used for a few days by a small group. Paid laundry available. Comfortable bed with many pillows. Housekeeping was excellent bringing us extra items and new batteries for the remote. I highly recommend and will be staying here again.
