She wrote a book about there experiences with the local Amish and told stories of how they used to drive them around. This part of Ohio is all gentle rolling hills with plenty of farmland. We were here in the peak fall color viewing time so it was a little slow getting around. I imagine it's always a little slow all year with all the bikes, buggy's, and tourists. Lots to do and see in the area. We were lucky enough to be here during the towns annual garage sale, so we spent some time shopping these. I bet you would be hard pressed to find someone with a bad disposition around here, everyone seemed quite content with there own pace of life they have sit for themselves. If you are lucky enough to book a room here, make sure you tell them I said hello, they are not the type to read things on line.

We visited to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and can say that our stay was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The Mansion was nicely decorated for Christmas, which added to that charming feel. Also, the staff was friendly and so attentive. We stayed during an outside work event, so it felt like we had place to ourselves. We lucked out with private dining for dinner in the pub and used the heated indoor and outdoor pools by ourselves. The food served for dinner (steak with potato gratin & asparagus; and coquille saint Jacques) and breakfast (egg soufflé and waffles) was top-notch. We also loved the Victorian Era feel in our bedroom and bathroom. Overall, if you're looking for a romantic weekend or an experience at an upscale Inn, then the Sebring Mansion is a great choice!

We ordered the cheese platter and chocolate dipped strawberries upon arrival and were very impressed by both. The cheese platter was filled to the brim with assorted cheeses and sliced meats with a sweet mustard. It came with a bottle of semi sweet wine. The strawberries were enormous and very tasty. Although, I was in the bar area and it was very nice with an inviting, B&B type decor and the staff I met were very nice. Now, my baby sister got married on Sat which is hard to believe to me. She picked Julia's as she wanted to have an outside wedding. The choice was a great one. The outside grounds were very well maintained. They were married under a very large gazebo surrounded by beautiful landscaping, flowers and trees. The back drop was a small pond that was being visited by many geese. Just a very pretty scene. The main gazebo was complimented by two smaller gazebos that were connected by matching walkways that made for fantastic wedding photos that will always bring great memories to those participating in the wedding. It was especially emotional as my brother and I gave her away. Our father passed 10 years ago and our mother 5 years ago.She only felt it proper to have her big bothers give her away. Of course we were more than honored to do this. What a great day we had and I wish nothing but the best to my lil' sis. She is all grown up now but will always be my baby sister. We love you!
