We went to panama city beach , florida for the beginning of the year. While we were there , the kids decided that it would be fun to go bowling on new year's eve. Being that I was a seasoned bowler ( my kids pick on me for having my own shoes and ball) i assumed that I would control the lanes like back in the day. Nothing like 22 years in between your last bowled ball for you to realize just like that old Toby Keith song.I ain't as good as I once was... I had achy muscles and a stiffness that caused me to throw the ball.\nLike I was blind in spun around so many times I was dizzy. I quickly realized that this body no longer moves in a way that allows for good bowling habits. The bowling experience was OK--could have been better if they had not put another group in the lane beside us when there were 3 vacant lanes on the other side of us. Skating was fine and would get 5 stars on it's own. The arcade was a big disappointment and was not good at all. MANY of the games were broken. We had difficulty getting some that were not broken to take our card. One broke while we still had plays on it -- the women in the store (who were efficient, friendly, and patient) called the manager, who showed up quickly and was professional and efficient. But the malfunctioning and broken games deserved 1 star. read more

We had a great time about 15 of us total. The bathroom was clean. The food my friends had they said was good. The beer I had was 4.00 which is a good price for the area. I also ordered a mixed drink which was good and not weak. I highly recommend for anyone of age. My friends bought their young kids with no problem. read more

We visited here twice during our trip out to PCB. The first day was a Monday afternoon with a light , mild crowd. BUT OMG Tuesday was a different beast!! Half off on all games on Tuesdays and it was raining! Of course everyone was looking for some weather friendly entertainment when kids are involved. We had some fun here but redeeming tickets off your uploadable cards was a nightmare. I don't think the staff was prepared for all this action. There is a decent amount of games to play . Bowling and skating are also available. It's loud , wild and crazy but my niece and nephew enjoyed themselves. Just to be clear , arcades are all rips off. This is only based off the skating rink area. The decor is acceptable and I love the seating area in the rink. Definitely in need of a new floor, you can feel the bumps and grooves and also see the patch work. Need better music as well, too much oldies rock. I don't normally leave reviews, but my experience at Rock It Lanes was so awful, I feel like people need to know what they might be walking into. From the moment my friends and I walked in, every single staff member treated us like we were an inconvenience. No greetings, no smiles--just attitude and eye rolls like we were ruining their night just by showing up. The skating staff was rude, dismissive, and acted like answering basic questions was beneath them. When we asked for help with our roller blades, the employee literally sighed, rolled their eyes, and walked away without even responding. Not a single worker we interacted with seemed remotely interested in doing their job or offering even a shred of customer service. It honestly felt like they were going out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. I've never had a group of friends all leave a place saying, "Wow, that was actually miserable," but here we are. Unless you enjoy being ignored, disrespected, and treated like a burden, stay far away from Rock It Lanes. read more

Fun place! Loved bowling. $4 per game $4 shoe rental from 10-2 Monday-Friday. Lots of arcade games, $50 gets you $64 worth of games. Most games $1 and they have a big room to turn your tickets into prizes. All tickets are loaded to your card for convenience! Rock'it Lanes boasts a clean bowling area with plenty of lanes for a busy Friday night. There is a huge game room as well as a roller skating rink. There is a snack bar and a full bar/lounge for adults only in the back. Took the kids to bowl last week and they had a blast. Used bumpers so they didn't have gutter balls, and had balls they could easily pick up and bowl with. The arcade was a huge hit as well, and we spent quite some time there too. A great opportunity to get out of the summer heat and have a fun indoor activity. Was super excited to have a rink near home! However, I'm not impressed with the rink. I haven't tried the arcade or food, so this review is just for the rink. I'll add more later. The price of the rink is around 10 dollars a person. More than I'm used to paying, but more hours to skate. 1. The floor is really weird and uneven. It's this weird blue flooring with holes and not a smooth wood rink. I constantly feel like I am going to fall. 2. They tape your skates if you have a black toe stopper because of "marks", but there is gum and candy wrappers al over the floor just waiting to cause a painful problem. The floor is dirty and gunk gets into my wheels. 3. Area is large for a nice skate and I have room to move around. I'll be back because this is the only skate area around, but it's kind of expensive and nerve wracking. Upped it a star because of nice employees. read more

My family and I came here on a rainy day while vacationing in PCB, Fl and we had a good time. We didn't skate or bowl but we spent hours in the arcade. It's a nice clean facility. They have a huge variety of games and the prices are reasonable. The "tokens" and "tickets" are all managed through cards which really simplifies things. We would come here again. Pros: Lots of games. Easy system to pay and redeem. Clean facility. Cons: It did get a little congested around the popular games. Some popular games were broken (like skee-ball which only had one of three working.) The redemption center was a little chaotic. read more

Every year we come we get a discount card to come here and we finally came to check it out. This place could be awesome if they would take care of the arcade games. Most games were down or took your money-really frustrating. The atmosphere is fun and spaced out, so that was nice. Love that they have bowling, skating, and even food here. And because the waiver stated that they are not responsible for injuries that occur even if it is due to their negligence, their a$$es are covered. Well thank god he didn't slice his eye open and bleed out to death!!!! Then tell me I should've been watching him?! He's 13!! He fell!! Like everyone else! This place was a great experience! They have a lot of different entertainment including bowling, skating, arcade games etc. I would love to rate it 5 stars but the customer service put me in a bad mood on the way out. The 2 women running the skating area had no smiles nor communication other than rude comments. Everything was an inconvenience to them. My girlfriend unlaced her skates to get them off and a rude comment was made when turning both of our skates in.
