This is a great arcade. The arcade is big and has a good variety of games. The price of the games is reasonable unlike the arcade we went to on 30a. They have all the classic games along with newer ones. My 5 and 3 year old loved it. They were also able to get some good prizes with the tickets they won. The workers were friendly and helpful. This place is such a fun step back in time! It is just as much fun as it was when I was a kid in the 90s. The atmosphere is very retro and laid back. My family of 8 went and had dinner and really enjoyed the food. It's arcade/bowling alley type food, but it's actually good! The tater tots made me happy, my kids loved the burgers and the chicken. We came for the penny machine and to play some games. Some of my family had not visited this establishment yet even though they are locals. After reading the reviews I thought it would be a fun family outing. They had plenty of archade games, new and old school alike. I liked there larger than normal prize station. My toddler scored some awesome prizes. You have to purchase a card to scan to play games, any tickets you earn on the games load automatically to your card so there is no actual ticket experience like there was when I was a kid. My toddler collects souvenir pennies so I am glad they had the penny machine. There were just enough games and kid rides to keep my kid entertained. They have a small pony merry go round, a horse to ride and other kid rides. We enjoyed the bowling, coin gain, shooting games and pretty much all of them. We didn't try the food/restaurant area because frankly the entire place appeared dirty including the bathrooms and staff. It didn't smell dirty but it was visibly dirty. The outside of the place is also dirty and sketchy looking if you ask me, it reminded me of the ghetto places I used to live during my college years. Staff was definitely not friendly, simply doing their job with no smile on their face what so ever. It was almost as if we simply did not fit in or belong there. I didn't see any tourists here, the very few people that were in there looked like regulars. This establishment is conveniently located next to other restaurants, the beach and other tourist attractions. I expected more out of this establishment considering its in the prime area of other tourist attractions. We definitely will not spend our money here again. No masks are required here. read more

It also has been a great venue to spend my afternoons after a long day on the beach. We come every year for Labor Day, and it still have a few of the old games. Funland opened it doors in 1953 making it the oldest arcade in northwest Florida if you've never set foot in one of these places you should, if only to say you did. I stopped in here because I heard they had a penny smashing machine, as odd as that may sound it's what I do when I get the opportunity. These old souvenir machines are getting harder and harder to find but they once were a main stay across the country and were meant to document the family vacations and are quite fun to collect, I'm sure most could find one in a junk drawer or an old box in the back of the closet. These are the types of place that you may find these machine. I love these old arcades but to be honest the clown kinda freaks me out so this place loses a few stars lol. read more
