I was in RockIT Repairs on Tuesday, February 2, 2015. I brought in 2 iphones. 1 - iPhone 6s that had water damage and the other was an iPhone 5 that had something wrong with the battery. The phone was showing 100% battery charge and then it would die and take 2+ hours to turn back on. Not only did RockIT match a price from another location in town, they told me they would have it done in "just a minute" when the other place was unable to fix my phone until the next business day. Well, unfortunately "just a minute" turned into much longer than everyone anticipated. The poor technician seemed more stressed than I was that it was taking so long to fix. He really seemed upset to not be fulfilling his promise. As it turned out, he had to do a little more to fix my phone than he originally thought. When I heard this I thought "well great I wonder how much this is all going to end up costing me"... To my utter surprise, not only did the price not increase a dime it actually went down. They gave me a discount 10% discount and an additional $10 off for having to wait so long. Also- and probably most importantly- the man who was working at the customer service desk. (I wish I had gotten his name) he really rocked. I had my 9 year old (and very impatient daughter) with me. I am not sure how, he managed to keep her calm and occupied the entire time! This gentleman gave her, I don't even know how many pens and pieces of paper to draw on... & best yet- laughed when she filled out the customer information form and wrote "123 buttface Lane" as her address!! (Okay so my kid is a nut) So, when I say he really went above and beyond... I am NOT EXAGGERATING in the slightest. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I will never go anywhere else and I hope if you're reading this, you don't either. I am one very happy customer. I just wanted to write a few words and let you know my experience with Rockit Repairs. My step-son's Lenovo laptop went on the blink. We did all the usual, calling the helpline etc. Only to be fobbed off by customer service trying to sell us extra warranty. Horrible customer experience. So i went online and checked a few nearby repair stores out. Some had good reviews, others had bad reviews. One of those with bad reviews on Yelp was this company. However i usually go with my gut instinct and i am usually correct. So we bit the bullet and took the Laptop in for repair. Not only was it an excellent customer experience within the store itself, all the staff were amazingly helpful and by chance the owner of the business was in that day. We exchanged a few words with me trying to explain what was wrong with the Laptop. Keep in mind that we dropped it off at around 6pm on Tuesday, if i mind right. Got a call yesterday saying it was fixed, they managed to retrieve all the information from it and put it onto our external hard-drive and the charge for doing so was great. Only 100bucks. This in my opinion is a top notch, reputable store. The staff there know their stuff inside out. I would recommend anyone to use their services. I feel really good about my experience with Rockit Repairs, the repair and the customer service received. A few weeks prior I had the same phone fixed at the mall. Not only did I pay more at the mall to have it fixed, they didn't do a complete fix. Not to mention the screen that was put on was not sensative to my touch and I experienced a significant lag in response. Within two weeks after my mall experience the screen had cracked again because they didn't fix the frame around the phone. The mall technician did call the cracked frame to my attention, but said nothing about repairing it.....what a waste of money. Now with another cracked screen I called Rockit Repairs, the representative I spoke with was knowledgeable and with a minimal deposit ordered the needed parts. Once the parts were received I got a call and brought my phone in for repair. There is no longer a lag in response time when touching the screen and I couldn't be more pleased. I was also impressed to receive a follow-up email to ensure my phone was working properly. Should this happen again, which is highly likely with teenagers....I will definately be using Rockit Repair again. read more

I have to say, it has definitely been a long time since I've experienced service quite like this. I spoke with Jonathan before heading over and he was both professional and pleasant. Once at the establishmeTnt, Rockit Repairs tried everything and anything they could to replace my screen the same day. Jonathan the owner, even tried to give me the screen off of his own personal laptop so that I wouldn't have to wait so long for one to come into the shop. I was completely fine with that option except, it wasn't exactly the right screen. The funny thing is, that they had two screens they tried out but as luck would have it, my lcd is a bit of a unique type so therefore, I struck out. However, they were able to order my screen and get it in within a 3 days. This was great because I would've had a two to three week turnaround time if I had gone with Geek Squad. The staff are all friendly and provide excellent customer service. If anyone has a screen to fix, go to Rockit Repairs. It's only a short drive. read more

I like to thank you for your kindness and understanding of my problem with my kindle . I am from Ma and had no luck finding a place to fix my kindle. how I came about finding you was a miracle. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone reassure me that it could be fix charging port issues won't charge. He went as far as telling me how to ship it and get flat rate box at the post office. I send it was emailed when it arrived then update on it being fixed I miss their called I call when I returuned home gave information for payment and was charge for the amount that I was quoted at the beginning not a Penny more. This was the 2nd time I've used they're service and this time I was really impressed! I took in a Iphone 6 + my son had accidentally put his full weight on under the covers on his bed and bent the phone and broke the screen. I was going to use a different service for the repair at first, but they said since it was bent the phone couldn't be fixed. Well that freaked me out since the phone was only a few Months old. I took it to Rocket Repairs, not only could they repair it they were honest enough to tell me I didn't need the LCD repaced as well, the other service told me it came as a complete unit and all of it would have to be replaced at a higher cost than Rocket. When I picked up the phone after repairs were done it literally looked like a brand new phone at a price way lower than I expected to pay!!! Copays for phone insurance is more than repairs cost, take it to Rocket!!!! read more

GREAT place for cell phone repair! I first went to Batteries Plus (or whatever it is) on Route 3 for my cracked screen (Samsung Note 4), the guys never even looked at my phone, said they'd have to order the part and total would be $300 bucks, REALLY DUDE! I was ref'd to RockIt, what a great find, first, I called, spoke w/Warren (manager), told him my problem and I wanted an est. He was very upfront, honest said it could be a min $160 but maybe a little more depending on the extent of the problem, he'd need to look at it. Went in, he took a look and a few hours later I picked up my repaired phone for $165 or so to include 1/2 off a screen cover installed, I was elated and very pleased from initial contact to end result...these guys are great, if you need cell phone repair I can't imagine you would not be satisfied w/the service team at RockIt..... read more

Was traveling, visiting family in area over Thanksgiving, 2017. I'm a non-techsavvy, 70 year old. I had a problem with my new Samsung tablet. Couldn't hardly use it. I tried, unsuccessfully, to fix; but no luck. Was looking at full travel day to West Coast the next day with lots of airport, flight, and shuttle bus time. Wanted to use my tablet! Called around local tech repair shops and all, except RockIt Repairs, insisted I would need to leave tablet and allow 24 hours for problem diagnosis. RockitRepairs said, "Come over. Maybe, it will be an easy fix." Long story short, they fixed tablet in about 20 minutes at no charge! RockitRepairs' customer service attitude my not be the most efficient for short term profits; but, I bet it will be effective over the long haul. I was sitting in the library working on my dissertation for my PhD when my computer started going crazy. I took it to Rockit Repairs that afternoon to drop it off. By that evening I had already received three emails informing me that my machine was received, my machine was being diagnosed, and that a software problem was found. I had my machine back within 24 hours and it runs as good as new. For a small business I was more than impressed at the level of customer service I received. Today, two weeks after my repair I receive another email asking if everything was still running smoothly. I would recommend Rocket Repair to anyone. First time using, and I am amazed at all the less than stellar reviews found here. I called to get pricing to replace the battery in an iPhone. They price seemed reasonable and when I asked about turnaround time he said would be less than an hour. I took it in less than 30 minutes later and waited while they completed the battery swap. I was probably in and out in less than 25 minutes. Additionally i watch no less than 4 other customers come and go without the slightest hint of poor service or customer dissatisfaction. Cellphone damaged / wet and die on you - don't despair and throw your phone away when rice doesn't work because Jim, Tito, Tim and Deborah at Rockit Repairs can save the day and your data and priceless pictures by rebuilding the cell in most cases. I had 2.5 yrs. data, pictures,texts they recovered, including rebuilding the cellphone for a very reasonable $300 price, considering the invaluable data on the data chip, they recovered in full and put on a USB drive for safe keeping. Additionally, I had bought a new replacement cell as back-up just in case and they transferred all the recovered files over, with painless ease. Got my wife's phone fixed and they did a good job. It was fixed much faster than promised which was great. My only wish was the customer service representative would have been more attentive when I entered the store and he would have been more interactive with me through the process of putting my order in. It would have helped if he would have explained things more rather than just telling me the price and asking me to sign the work order. It was great that is got email and text alerts on the status of my order. I brought it in at 10:30 and was told it would be done by 5:00. I received a notification that it was done around 1:00. After nearly being ripped off by another computer repair shop, I came here with my PC not even put back together. Wade wasn't only friendly and knowledgeable, but he is a gamer himself and thought it absurd that I would think they would make our computer slower for any reason. Of course he didn't realize that we were coming to him from and because that very experience. The customer service wasn't just great for my computer but also I had a chance to observe the people here deal with other customers and they were handling them pretty well. Was doing a routine cleaning of my PS4 when my dumb self accidentally broke the heat sink off of the internal motherboard. After 2 weeks of jumping through hoops with surrounding tech places that failed to do anything with it, I heard about this place and went in the next day. Not even 24 hours afterward I had a call telling me the repair was complete, and not only that, it costed me less than it would've for a WEEK of waiting at other places. I have been here for different services on my laptop over the course of many months. I had it cleaned and a new battery installed. Later I had the graphics chip replaced, and recently the HD. In between, when random smaller things have gone wrong - like not being able to do anything because the screen inexplicably froze - Rockit was able to correct the problems while I waited. They have always been courteous, even when I was testy. Took my phone into Rockit repairs after a bad experience at another local shop. I had an issue with my phone screen not turning off when I put the device up to my face when making a call which caused me to constantly be dialing buttons and hanging up on people. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with the issue and explained to me it was a proximity sensor. They fixed my iPhone in under an hour and I was very satisfied with the level of customer service I received. Will most certainly use rockit again when I have any issues with my phone. read more

My laptop had picked up a virus that I wasn't able to remove. Joon at Rockit told me that they would run virus scans to try to clean the computer. If that didn't work, they could do a clean and re-install of the operating system. I only had to pay for the repair that worked! It had to have the operating system re-installed. It is working great! And, the price I paid was actually less than what I was quoted! The folks that work there are all friendly and knowledgeable. Just received my Gear 2 back (cracked screen) and I am very happy with the service and how quickly they repaired and returned it back to me. I also have to say that I called Samsung first and was put on hold for extended periods of time. Took my girlfriend laptop into Rockit after finding them through a google search and I have no regrets. I had a good rapport with the guys when dropping the laptop off and they were very friendly and informative. No need to call in and check up on the repair status, because I got constant updates through email. I even got a follow up email days later after repair was done to make sure everything was working fine. That's what I call real customer service.
