What a great diner. Family run with a great atmosphere. Service was super friendly and the food was delicious. Rocks has a very expansive menu selection. I went to college at UMFK, and lived in Fort Kent for a little over 4 years. Great place for a quick bite. Serving staff is friendly. We usually would order takeout on the weekends for breakfast and the food was always great! read more

Really disappointing experience. Placed an order, the box was delivered with ants on it. When I reached out to them for support...radio silence. You know, wanting to help small businesses during this pandemic and being a sucker aren't the same thing. I'd save your money. I have been coming here since I can remember. It wouldn't be a trip to Fort Kent without a rocks hotdog and a mix fry. Now, I legit came here for a red hot dog... Yes I said red. I am not sure why this is a northern Maine thing but they do taste wayyy better! What I got was a sad regular beige dog. It was so sad. I hyped them up so much and two sad beige dogs arrived.... did I need to say Red hot dogs? Did I mess it up? I don't think it said they had two kinds. My mix fry was spot on! So damn good. Deliciously fried French fries, covered in a hearty, beefy brown gravy then topped with a shredded cheese..... YUMMMO The staff seemed a bit off the day we went. It seemed like no one was getting along. Not as happy and friendly as I am used to up there! Still love it, still will go back but just had a few misses this time around. read more

If I could leave 1/2 a star or no star I would.1st off... Right now most people are out of work we're trying to support others so what I see things I know we'd be interested in I want to buy/try them. Now they did charge an extreme amount for a shipping & cookies/moon pies wrapped in Saran wrap, they just came in a reg. priority box w/ bubble wrap w/nothing to help keep them cool if it was an extremely hot day & I know they do ship across the US. I'm in CT I met the mailman @ the door unfortunately I ordered 2 different items @ the same time mailed in different boxes came a day apart. That's besides the point total was around $89. I've ordered macarons from Miami that came in a box w/ a dry ice - ice pack or 1x use ice pack in case people aren't home plus just during normal transportation they're won't be damage due to heat. And those delicate macarons arrived perfectly. SO NOW here we are, I meet the mailman at the door -1st order box has oil /grease spots going around the entire box. Unfortunately, all of these were tried by 7 ppl went into the trash as well as 2nd order (no grease/oily box). 1st order 12 CT. Chocolate chip cookie they were as hard as rocks now to me they were either store bought or frozen dough that you just bake & serve not homemade. Some had too much filling of those not enough but the buttercream was so sweet you are teeth wanted to fall out of your mouth! Absolutely disgusting! I am not a huge buttercream lover only in the things that I like which moon pies are one however not these epic fail! I called them that afternoon asked if I could speak to someone about the moon pies they said she's not in call in the am @7. I said I received an order I'm waiting for the rest not sure if I can locate my order # if she said well U need to find it. Now I thought that was rude but also she should have at least asked my name # maybe was there a problem The restaurant industry is what paid for my college as I was a teacher for 14 years. I was hoping I could say if you didn't ship my 2nd order I want to cancel refund my $$ you can keep the shipping charges obviously. However I called the next a.m. @ 8 & was told it's too busy it's Sat. call back later. I did but apparently she left. Meanwhile the next order came which was a mix of ch. chip, pumpkin ch. Chip & traditional moon pie. These choc. chip ones were as hard as a rock like the ones the day before, the others weren't flat cookies & U could see they were a bit maybe fluffier but they weren't fluffy when you bit / cut into it. My nieces & nephews ages 8,6,4 hated them all except 2 thought the chocolate were semi okay I asked if they wanted me to leave the other 2 they said no since having 7 people try these things U had to cut them due to Covid. My sister, brother-in-law and myself all I hated even when scraping off 95% of the sugary nasty buttercream same with the pumpkin. One nephew liked the pumpkin but took the chocolate chips out. Didn't want me to leave those. My friend who tried them didn't like any of them either. So they went into my trash can. It's a sin when we have to throw away food in this day and age when people need it I donate food weekly to a food pantry that serves meals but I could not bring these there when you looked at them they looked like an amateur person made them. You know first time making buttercream moon pies advertising online and on GMA and shipping all over USA. Don't mind spending money on good food / items when half of us are out of work wanting to support all types of business but I'm also not making money and now I spent money on something that went in the trash. They also don't include an invoice or any info on how to save, serve or if you want to freeze etc. but I'm sure they'll make great hockey pucks! Maybe I should take them out of the garbage and mail them to my friends up in Boston and her sons can use them for hockey practice at this point I am curious that I can't get somebody on the phone and do not purchase these you will not be happy unless you want to go to the dentist and pay a fortune for the cavities you're going to get and if you try to bite into the chocolate chip cookies you'll like break a tooth read more

I went in and ordered $30 worth of food got home opened my container I have five onion rings which were undercooked and not everyone likes beer battered food.. and I ordered a chicken club with tomato pickle onion and mayonnaise I got a dry chicken sandwich. The double cheeseburger that was in the order was tiny, the burger didn't fit the bun... This place has definitely gone downhill. Will not be ordering here again. read more

Wow, without yelp I would not know about this diner. I will definitely be going to this dinner soon. I will even bring my friends with me.
