I got my fade messed up really bad. This isn't acceptable and they wouldn't let me get a refund. It's like your hair got confused halfway through and decided to change direction. One side's trying to do a mid-fade, the other gave up entirely and went straight to skin. The back looks like they used a butter knife and some hope. It's patchy, uneven, and worst of all my mom can't even look at my haircut anymore. read more

I moved to the city a few months back and had tried out a hair salon in Logan Square but was put off by their long wait times even with an appointment and inattention to detail. I decided to find a barbershop for my short hair and gave this one a try. They were able to get me in on the same day. I can't remember the name of the girl who cut my hair but she was great. She noticed every small detail and kept me informed during the whole process. She was also very personable. I admit that I was nervous about trying a barbershop but everyone was friendly from the moment I walked in the door and didn't make me feel out of place. The ambiance was fun and energetic. Real nice guys here, great talent. I had Alex DaBarber who put a high bald fade with a hard part on balding head, and it looks great! I did however, feel a bit old. Yes I am old but I felt old in here. Shouldn't let that matter when getting a fade but when the guy next to you is getting some great stripes, cool designs, and great cuts that I would never consider, then yes, it does make you feel old haha. I was in Chicago on a trip, partially to plan my move there, and I needed my hair shaped up before I left for more traveling. Found these guys on Yelp, decided to walk in and see if they could fit me in. They did, and I think I've found my new barbershop for when I move. I typically do designs/graphics in my undercut, but chose not to this time. (Looking forward to that next time I'm back!) The guy who did my cut was amazing. Super detailed, really thorough, and he did exactly what I wanted. My cut was beyond reasonably priced, and the whole experience was great. I'm VERY serious about my hair. I walked in today after a knee surgery and a couple weeks without a clean up. First, the place is chill and relaxed with a beer tap for their guests. T went out of his way to make sure I had a good chair for my brace-locked knee, moving other chairs around, and went to work. T is cool and crazy good; Hands down the best haircut/ buzz I've ever had, and his clean up of my beard was great. I was super surprised it was only $25. My husband and I were on our way to dinner when we passed this place. He's been needing a haircut and from the outside, the Barber shop looked inviting so we walked in. We were greeted right away and they took my husband as a walk in. The wait was short and my husbands barber was very nice. While I was waiting, the music was great and upbeat. One of the barbers kids came in and it was nice to see them play around, gave it a very homey welcoming feeling. Usually my husbands haircuts are 15min, but it was about an hour? I wasn't upset, this was a legit Barber Shop and I expected great service which is what he received. The barber took his time and his haircut looked great! Very clean, edged, and the best fade on him I've seen in awhile. They offer other services for your beard and what not but we had to eat dinner and he doesn't really have a beard but I think the other services offered are great, men need some pampering too lol. I was recommended Rockstar from a friend who absolutely loves them. Back story--I used to go to the Rockstar on 35th street on the south side and had a favorite barber there but that was years ago. I have always been a fan of the brand. Lying in bed at 10pm I decided to book a 1030 appointment for the following day, I did not have an option online to book the Barber my friend recommended. I instead got a barber by the name or Tredarius. I showed up promptly at 10:30am Tredarius otherwise known as Tee however was running behind. I appreciated the constant communication via text from him and was very understanding considering I made the appointment so late the night before. I hung out in the barbershop, and completely fell in love with the vibe the two barbers doing hair while I was waiting kept a friendly and welcoming environment and the music was a mix of Spanish and Hip Hop. It felt like home. When my barber finally made it he got straight to work, not only did he do an amazing job but he also discounted me and offered to pay for my parking due to his lateness. Definitely took the situation and made the best of it. I enjoyed the barbershop talk and closeness of the clients and stylists. I will definitely be coming back and look forward to getting to know my new barber better. read more

Took both sons in and both haircuts were wrong after showing photos. One child wanted graphics and it seems only 1 barber can do it well. Of course not the barber I had, who told me half way through haircut that he cannot do the graphics. I should've been told that before haircut was started. My other son had a stylist that was on her phone constantly and she cut his hair way too short. I gave 2 stars because if you get the right barber you are fine.
