Pleasantly surprised about this off the highway sub shop. Noticed the sign as I was coming off the highway to eat at the bbq place. I made a last minute decision to do subs instead & I'm glad I did! I had a turkey and cheese sub with most of the toppings and it was super tasty. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was really good! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, the place is very old and in places it's grimy but don't let that deter you! It was as clean as it could be, even the restroom was clean. Tea was freshly made but it still tasted like well water, so got a minus 1 star for that but otherwise it was yummy and I'm glad we went there. My dining partners Cuban Sammy was good too. read more

Walked in with my wife, we were clearly looking at the menu together, I ordered, they ignored her. She had to ask to order, as the moment I finished mine, they totaled it out. My Philly Chicken (which was $13.99), was only half made... photo attached. Positive is, it did taste good. read more

First word that come to mind...meh. Not good, not bad. Hence the three stars. I'm sure I have the unpopular opinion but it's just not my fav sub/salad joint. My boyfriend got the big boss man. He inhaled it and said it was good. That's about his usual. I had the large Greek salad. I suppose I expected a classic Greek salad. Nope. If you like A LOT of toppings this is for you. When did carrots get put on Greek salad?‍. The dressing was good and lots of meat/cheese. Watch out for big chunks of everything. Might want to change the name to "kitchen sink" salad. Very clean and staff were friendly. Price was a bit hefty but big portions. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Worst Larry's i've ever been to! Ordered 2 of the wraps, one with extra meat, and both were put together how a little kid would. They both were half full of lettuce instead of the normal spread larry's at EVERY other location does. Also, was forced to leave due to having a service dog on a leash, the manager had the cashier come over and ask for proof of medical paperwork (illegal) to prove the dog was a service dog to be able to eat inside after we got our food! read more

I do not usually post reviews but since the manager at Larry's decided to tell me no one had dark hair who worked there I felt the need to share. Funny that the clump of hair is melted into the cheese. We ordered it to go and all I was wanting was the manager to make it right, a credit toward a sandwich next time we visit or even an apology and instead I got a lecture. You have to wait at the drive-thru for a while but their sandwiches are unique and deliciously loaded. They offer hot and comd subs.

Larry's has always been one of my favorite places. However, today I went there and the prices have really gone way up. The sandwich I got today was absolutely, positively not worth what I paid for it. It's not a matter of whether or not I can afford the new prices. It's that, I simply don't think the food is worth what is being charged. Larry's now has a negative perceived value to me and I therefore won't be back until Larry's pricing returns to a value proposition. read more

The subs are a good size, and have enough meat on them, but even when I ask for extra Italian dressing on my sub I can hardly taste it at all. If I don't ask for extra there is none at all on there. An Italian sub just isn't worth eating if you aren't going to put Italian dressing on it. read more

This place is a hidden gem. We were looking to go get some wings because we were tired of going to Buffalo wild wings and just stumbled across this place. It is now our favorite wing spot, sandwich shop, place to go get good food shop. Everything here is good the meatball sandwich, wings, Philly cheesesteak, they even have authentic New York cheesecake. If your in the area you have to try this place. Forget subway and firehouse subs! You will not regret it. My only complaint is that the only location that serves French fries is on Saint Simons Island. Other than that to thumbs up. read more

Didn't get to post last night. Yesterday had a turkey Rueben, pretty tasty. The bread was soft and the sauerkraut wasn't overly vinegary.

I drove to this Larry's because it has a drive Thur I order the hot stuff with nothing on it and extra meat. I get home to see the sub has everything on it and no extra meat. I drive all the way back up there for some guy working there to tell me there was extra meat he said they slice it thin that's why it looks that way. But he said noting about all of the other things on it that was wrong. The owner needs to come in and retrain the stuff on customer service. End of story I got my money back read more

The sandwich was great, as always, but I had a disappointing encounter today, reflecting on the honesty of the staff there. Left my wallet on the counter after paying for my order, then left with our "to go" order. When I realized I had left my wallet, returned to the store and stated such. All of the staff, the ones who were there when I ordered, said they did not know anything about it. I asked to check the cameras. They stated they did not have cameras. I then said I was going to have to call the police, and a customer came up, saying he had turned a wallet in to the person running the register. At that point, the employee sheepishly reached under the counter, and handed me my wallet. Nothing was missing, except their integrity. read more

very unhappy!!! jan 13, 2018, i went through the drive thru to place an order for my family. when i got home i realized that i received a 6 in sub instead of a 12 inch which i had ordered and paid for. i immediately called the store and told them what had happened. the person that answered said for me to stop by any time to receive the correct sandwich. i went by yesterday and explained what happened. they asked me if the person took my name down and i said no, so the guy at the window called the manager and they agreed that they had no memory of this phone call. no replacement nothing. i will not be ordering from this location ever again if this is how they are going to treat their customers!!!!! extremely unhappy read more
